Lujimba was our (three 30yr old girls) first stop on a 2 week trip of Brazil and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The hostel itself is stunning, set in lush gardens with birds and small monkeys running about, hammocks hanging from trees and shaded verandas to lounge on. The rooms are basic but fantastic, the shower was... More

We had a great stay at Lujimba! Promptly welcomed by Samuel (who speaks 5 languages including English) who showed us around and let us taste some of the fruit they grow on the property. He was very helpful and a good guide! The property is simple, but everything you need. Fantastic garden with hammocks to lounge in while you wait... More

We intended to spend two nights at Lujimba, and ultimately spent four due to our satisfaction with their services. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and kind; the hostel offered discounts for activities in nearby Praia do Forte; and the hostel itself was a one-of-a-kind property. Plus, the breakfast far exceeded my expectations for a hostel.

About one kilometer away from Imbassaí city-center and the beach the Lujimba Hostel is located in between trees seperated in different houses. You get a good breakfast and you can use the guest-kitchen for cooking. Theres a small pool for refreshing and relaxing. The owner Roberto will help you in his kind and humorful way. I really recommend this place!!

Absolutely beautiful scenery and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The town is not a far walk, but far enough away that you feel away from it all. Imbassai is fantastic with many great places to go eat/enjoy yourself. We caught some local music at one of the bars nearby and hit the beaches during the day. Lujimba... More

Lujimba is rather a pousada than a hostel. It consists of several different buildings and doesn't really has the hostel feeling. That said, it is a really nice place to spend your time in Imbassai if you're looking for some peace and quietness. It has a good breakfast, it's clean, the staff is nice and it has a great swimming... More

The beds in collective rooms are very poor. I could not sleep well because the bad quality of the pillow. The WiFi is not free (it costs R$ 3 per hour, but is not advised in the website). The breakfast could be better... The external area of the hostel and the staff are very nice!

We were driving around Praia do Forte and Imbassai in our own car and were not really thinking about staying anywhere for more than one night. However, then we came by Lujimba and immediately loved it. We stayed in one of the double rooms upstairs. The room was very clean, very charming and had good beds with a mosquito net.... More

Everything was great, the staff, the breakfast. But in particular the location, Imbassai was absolutly an incrideble surprise.
