Dennis and Rae have got their house on the rugged west coast really comfortable for their guests. It is an ideal place to drop the bags, unplug and chill out. The bed was really comfortable and warm. Outstanding and uninterrupted views from the house to the wild rollers smashing in to the shore. These two original west coasters made our...

We have stayed in quite a few B&B's over the years. This place is different in that the hosts really do allow you to share their home and living space, the breakfast is made in front of your eyes while you are having the banter and craic with Dennis and Raelyn. Go sit wherever you fancy in their lounge areas....

Me and my partner stayed in Blue Waves' garden view room for 2 nights in February 2016. Unfortunately, the sea view room was already occupied for those days so we couldn't stay in that. But our stay was very memorable. The location is just prefect; one can actually enjoy the view of blue waves of the mighty Tasman Sea from...

This is like staying with family. When we arrived our hosts were busy working in their wonderful garden that featured almost every fruit and veggie that you can imagine - many of which were included for dinner including corn, tomatoes, beans, peas, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, all fresh including the Rig/lemonfish for dinner caught right out front their door on the...

Dennis and Raelyn are gracious hosts. This is the first time I have asked the hosts to come and visit us! Dennis took us fishing with his friend Roger. Organised it all and thought of everything for us. Had a fantastic night / afternoon on the beach reeling them in :-) This is a genuine home stay where you sleep...

We had a lovely one-night stay with Dennis and Raelyn. Dennis cooked excellent fish and meat on the barbeque for our dinner. After we sat chatting with Dennis, Raelyn and their friends until late, learning from genuine locals all about life on the West Coast. The location was spectacular, especially during the storm we experienced there. Dennis and Realyn gave...

Dennis and Raelynn were wonderful hosts during our stay. My husband and I decided to do a home stay over a hotel, and we were not disappointed. Their home is lovely and across the highway from the coast. Dennis kept us entertained during our evening there, and the dinner served was great. Dennis had caught the fish himself.

Dennis and Raelyn were wonderful hosts for our one night stay in their home. It was wonderful to spend time with some West Coast locals and have some great conversations and hear about their lives in the west. The dinner was magnificent with fish and venison caught and cooked by Dennis and a huge array of salads prepared by Raelyn....
