I spent the night at Casa Mazeta as I was passing through the Ruta de las Flores. I had a room in the back of the garden. It was very quiet and comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome when I arrived.

The dorms are spacious and beds are ver comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge areas and comfortable. Plenty of space to enjoy. Juayua is a lovely town as well. I highly recommended the seven waterfalls hike.

Beautiful homely hostel with very friendly staff (and dogs!). Big kitchen, great common areato hang, clean bathrooms, big bedrooms. We throughly enjoyed our few days here and can highly recommend the 7 waterfalls tour- was a great day adventure!

I concur with other reviewers about this wonderful hostel/guesthouse. I stayed in a private room with bathroom. The wifi currently doesn't quite reach the farthest room. The garden and common area are so nice and comfortable, it was really no problem. The best part is that Casa Mazeta provides a place to recharge after visiting all the neat places such... More

I love Juayua and Casa Mazeta is the best place to stay. Don't miss the food festival every weekend. So much to do in and around Juayua. The staff here is amazing and friendly, the hotel is super clean and the kitchen fully equipped. The dogs are gorgeous and the hostel feels safe and secure. Would recommend to anyone. I... More

We stayed in the dorms back in October 2015. This place was one of my favourite hostels on a round the world trip. There's lots of common space for hanging out, a well stocked kitchen, friendly dogs, and a generally homey, welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Everything about the hostel is great. Friendly and helpful staff with a nice building and a great atmosphere. I suggest the 7 waterfalls hike, just make sure to have good footware! Also, make sure to go and get the pupusas at the place they recommend!!!

It's so homely, a perfect place to relax. It's a small hostel so it felt like you were staying with a family and we all went out for a hike to the waterfalls together. The owners and the staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful.

Me and my friends have been travelling in Central America for a month now and so far this has all been our favourite hostel. It feels completely like we've been welcomed into a family home equipped with a kitchen that we actually enjoy cooking in, beautiful garden and a comfortable living room, with an endless collection of dvds. I highly... More

Feels like home! A very cosy hostel with an amazing atmosphere. Perfect if you want to relax. They have a great selection of DVDs. The cat and dog are both adorable (and looks kind of similar in their colours) We had the private room out in the backyard. It was so nice........... The small garden I also loved, small flowers... A lovely review, thank you! We always aim to maintain a relaxed, homely atmosphere, so we´re glad that you appreciated that. Also happy that you enjoyed our gardens, a lot of loving thought has gone into the design! More
