This is a gem of a hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and work very hard to make the environment perfect for their guests. To Sum up for those who don't want to read a long review. Lovely comfortable rooms. Great pool, beach, sunbeds. Nice beer and cocktails, red wine could be richer in flavour but was ok. Food was excellent, lots of options, never had to have the same thing. Always something different and tasty to try and a wealth of salad ingredients to make your own. People seemed to like the evening entertainment but we preferred to linger over dinner which was never frowned upon. Overall the hotel made for a great holiday. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and immaculately presented. The grounds are not huge, mainly dominated by the fabulous pool, but there are loads of little seating areas dotted around to relax in. The beach is a short walk across a road and along a pedestrian concourse. The sunbeds were plentiful and very comfortable. And the beach bar had beer, soft drinks, savoury snacks and fruit available for most of the day. The pool area again has plentiful sunbeds, although in October the trees and mountains mean the sun has gone from most of the beds by 4/4.30 ish. The bar at the pool serves all manor of drinks and there are snacks available for most of the day. A lovely lady sits in the shade making delicious hot fresh cheesy flat breads. There is also a cake counter with a large variety available all day and also does an hour at 4pm of things like hot waffles and occasionally ice cream. If you like joining in, the entertainment team always have something on the go, boules, exercise classes, darts, shooting, water polo to name but a few. There's also a table tennis table by the pool and table football (pay for tokens) at the beach. The restaurant was a big highlight for us as they have outside tables as well as a huge inside area. We tended to wait until around 7.15 to eat and always got an outside table. Likewise at breakfast, 9am just as the sun hit the dining area made for a lovely leisurely breakfast. A couple of minor gripes about meal times. Firstly the smoking, we did choose to eat in the outside area as this gave a nicer dining experience and as such had to put up with many people smoking very pungent cigarettes all around us whilst we were eating. I understand people like to smoke after their meal but it would be far better for smokers and non smokers alike if they moved to the outside tables near the bars to have their after dinner fix rather than wafting smoke at people trying to enjoy their meals. My second point would be to beware of going to dinner too late, on the first and second night food was being cleared by 8.20pm even though service finishes at 9 so we didn't get to have dessert until we started turning up earlier. We also noticed on our last night when forced to have dinner as the restaurant was opening, due to pickup at 8pm the choice on the show cooking was much fuller. This may well be due to it being late in the season. The staff in the restaurant area are amazing, they never stop and are always smiling and engaging. They made meal times very pleasant, and were especially attentive when topping up our red wine. Our room was excellent, top floor with a spacious balcony and bathroom. Kept beautifully clean by housekeeping. No sun on the balcony to speak of, we were at the back of A Blok, facing NE and had a tiny slither around 7.30/8am although I suspect this would be different earlier in the year. We had a side view of sea one way and mountains the other. I don't know what this hotel would be like in high season but it seemed pretty full for October and we didn't feel we had to wait for anything. The bar staff were very efficient, we got a spa appointment when we wanted it, always got beds and seating etc. The Spa package was great we paid £79 between us for Hammam, massage and facemask. Mine was a more expensive one as I opted for a full hour of firm massage. It was brilliant, leaving our skin sunshine ready and our minds and bodies relaxed. A bargain compared to UK prices, I highly recommend this. You can also use the sauna and steam room whenever you like. The Spa staff were lovely, not to much of the hard sell but always ready with a discount. Others have mentioned that there were no English people at the hotel. We did not hear another English voice from leaving Antalya airport until we got in the EasyJet queue to come home. Not even out and about in Goynuk so perhaps this area is not covered by English Tour companies. This was not a problem for us at all. Many of the staff spoke excellent English and if they didn't understand us they found someone who did. As usual most put us to shame, speaking many different languages whilst we struggled with the most basic of Turkish. I will mention about communication prior to our stay. I tried on 5 occasions to contact the hotel with a request to ensure a double room and to purchase wine to be in the room on arrival as we were celebrating our silver wedding. I used the Fame group website, emailing 2 recommended addresses and also the online Chat, who just referred me to an email address I had already tried. I also tried their Facebook messenger page the day before we left, they replied 2 days into our stay saying to contact guest services, which by then was pointless. On arrival there was no record of any communication and we were given a very small twin room which was v disappointing. This was rectified the next morning but definitely had a negative effect on the start of our holiday. In two weeks I had no acknowledgment of any of my attempted communication which was very frustrating but is a reflection of Fame group in general not really Fame Goynuk but is why I dropped my review to 4 not 5 stars.

Fame Residence Goynuk is a very good hotel, situated near Kemer. Back of the resort are mountains, the beach is 120 m from the hotel. Beach is not sandy, so you need special shoes, water getting deep close to shore. The hotel has 2 buidings, A nd B, B is the newest. Rooms are very clean, bath room the same, lotys of toiletries, change of towels every day, change of bedlinnen when you wish. Minibar is free with water and soft drinks, filled everyday. Tea and coffee in the room. All sort of food, plenty of choice, Near beach or pool buffet, bars everywhere, driks at your disposal. Close to hotel there are some bazars. Check in is quick if everything is in order, in my case, room was not paid by Need tour agency - as i heard it is not the first time !!! so phone calls which are quite expensive, waiting time... nerves... excelent enetrtainment tema!!! and their programme also very good. Everywhere is very clean, staff very friendly! they can manage English, not too well some, mailny speaking russian and polish. so you do not need to go to belek or Side to get higy quality services.
