The Transatlantik Hotel & Spa garners mixed reviews from guests; while the hotel's cleanliness and service are frequently commended for being impeccable and attentive, some guests feel that the value is lacking, pointing out that the cost does not always align with the quality of their stay. Room experiences vary, with remarks noting both comfort and issues with maintenance. Second time with family in Turkey. We searched for a long time (due to the holiday dates, the flight was postponed several times). The location is cool, not far from the Airport, Kemer nearby, mountains around. I really liked the hotel, although from the beginning I didn’t really want a big one. But the main building is not very high - there are many elevators, the wait is not long, the pool is huge + there are several zones in it. The family's room is modest, but everything we need is there and works; for an additional fee they offered to move to a villa, but the second floor was not suitable for us. The bed is normal, extra. They were ready to change the seat to a regular one, but the child agreed to the chair. The cleaning service was always interested in the need: we asked for the trash to be removed and for small things (slippers, a pillowcase or gel). The staff is Russified or at least understands, it is better to download the cocktail menu via QR. The food is Turkish: a lot of vegetables, grilled (fish, chicken), there is always buckwheat, rice, mashed potatoes, including bars (fries, hamburger, hot dog, pizza, flatbreads) almost continuously. Fruits are modest - traditional watermelon, melon, plum, pear, apple, grapes. There is a large selection of sweets. There was a fish day with baked pink salmon and rolls. A very large pool with good slides, it’s a pity they are open 10-12 and 14-16 (very hot). The rescue team helped us a lot: they explained everything to the children and helped with any questions. After the shift, we even taught our son to swim a little. At the same time, a man who unsuccessfully went down the slide was rescued right before our eyes. The beach is 200 meters away. The sea is very salty and wavy in the evenings. It is better to enter in corrals. On the pier you can dive and sunbathe without sand. There is a shower. The hotel has a sauna and hammam. We went to the aquarium from street operators, but they say you can do it yourself (public and buy a ticket at the box office). In the evening there is trading around, slot machines and billiards (the bowling alley is broken). There is a disco for children at 20-30 and for adults (they take them somewhere at 23 and a small local one at 00-2). The animation is good both in the pool and in the bars (darts, shooting, boccia). There are few minuses: there was no remote control in the air conditioners, no toothbrushes, no toothpastes, the rest was there, the a la carte restaurant is only for a fee (although the guide says from 7 nights db 1 time is free), the beach towels are not ideal (stains, sometimes damp). But overall, I was very pleased with my vacation, I didn’t want to leave - if the sea itself is not the most important thing, then I recommend it.

Firstly i will start by saying DO NOT BE SWAYED BY THE BAD REVIEWS.
WE LOVE THIS HOTEL! I am currently on here on pur 2nd day of our family holiday and after reading some of the reviews on here i was nervous to say the least!! There was no need!! We arrived at 3am on 9/8/22 we were greeted at reception by a nice receptionist and a lovely bellboy who showed us to our room. (1146)
On entering the room we quickly noticed that there was only 4 beds and 5 of us. The bellboy said he could get us another bed but would be the following day (later in the day) my son (14) was happybto sleep on the sofa as he was shattered. As promised by 5pm the bed had arrived and was set up in the room. The rooms are due a makeover but nothing to complain about when all you do is shower and sleep there!!
We woke at 9am and went for breakfast. There was an AMAZING variety of food and something for everyone it was delicious.
After breakfast it was straight to the pool! The pool area is clean and the pool itself is spotless and a lovely guy is cleaning the surrounding area all day!! Not one wasp or ant in site!!
There are plenty of sunbeds!! But we have quickly found popping a towel down before breakfast is the way forward.
The animation team start at 10am on the dot and they are FANTASTIC! always something going on and a great atmosphere around the pool all day!! A varierty of music and games something for everyone and not theybare not a pain to anyone that doesnt want to join in and happy enjoying the sun whilst the kids are being occupied! (Like me!)
There is a snack bar that opens at 12.30 which is table service with Kebabs, Pizza, Burgers, Chips etc.
The drinks are fab and not watered down like many other hotels. They use the mini bottles 1per drink so plenty strong enough.
At dinner again lovely friendly waiters and a huge variety of dishes i have a fussy husband a vegetarian son and a fussy daughter and they all found plenty to eat!!
We walked to the beach after dinner, i have no idea where these people that are claiming the beach is 2k away are going but its literally a 2 minute walk!!!
Evening entertainment is great and a great family atmosphere!!! All in all a great hotel and i cant wait to enjoy the next 10 days.
Please dont be put off this hotel its a real hidden gem and beautiful xx

We rested from 14.09 to 22.09. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, checked in only at 11, did not like the room (the view from the balcony was on the road), for 60 dollars we changed to a room with a view of the pool. The beach is your own, you just need to walk 5-7 minutes across the road from the hotel. The sea is clean and warm. The food was plentiful and varied; everyone will find something to suit their taste. Cleaning was done every day, the beds were made and the floors were vacuumed. The dust on the TV was the same as it was on the day of arrival and remained until check-out. The slippers were not changed, they were the same from the very first day. I agree with other reviews that the hotel administration does not monitor vacationers on the beach, they leave towels for the whole day and leave, and other people cannot lie under the awning, there are no places, everything is occupied by towels. Lobby bars serve alcohol in plastic until you ask for glass! There was an ultra all-inclusive concept, but all imported alcohol was paid for. We asked to pour it, but they told us it was not for you. In general, we were satisfied with our vacation.

I have had the opportunity to visit so many beautiful destinations and hotels around the world over the years (some chains and some not) and I have got to say, this has got to be the worst hotel that I have ever ever set foot in from the lack of customer service to the cell we were made to sleep in (known to them as a hotel room with no window, just a door). The only positive experience we encountered during this hell of a holiday was the lovely weather, other than that...... I would never ever dream of staying at this hotel again, even if the management wanted to pay me. I am honestly unsure how this hotel earned it's star ratings; a 1* would be far too generous for this hotel. I can honestly say that I have never been so pleased to leave this hotel (this is an absolute first for me). If you want to visit Turkey, especially if its your first time there, I would not recommend you stay at this hotel otherwise it will likely put you off Turkey for life. I am unsure how this hotel can continue to trade and should be investigated for the lack of fire exits it has (including the lack of exits within the cell rooms). If there had been a fire within the complex, we would have had no chance.....

I absolutely do not recommend transatlantik hotel in Antalya. We went with a Group of 12 people ranging from ages of 11 all the way up to 65 and I must say we had a terrible time. The first issue I will call out is the advertising of images of the hotel being on the beach. The hotel is across the street from the beach with a major road in between. The hotel does have its own private beach but it’s extremely far away from the hotel and requires you to leave the hotel premises, cross a busy road with many cars and taxis and walk down to the beach. This was extremely inconvenient because we were expecting to have a beachfront hotel and not have to leave the hotel premises in our bikinis and swim attire just to get to the beach. Not to mention we had elderly people in our party who could only go to the beach one time because it was so far from the hotel. In addition, the beach bar has no options whatsoever in terms of alcohol other than a 2% lager beer that does nothing for you. We drank at least 10 and didn’t even have a buzz!!!! Also you can only order hamburgers and french fries on the beach. When I am booking an all inclusive resort I am expecting A lot more amenities and choices no matter where I go in the hotel. Unfortunately to drink some thing other than low alcohol content beer you’ll have to walk all the way back to the hotel which will take you at least 15 minutes to go and come back. By the time you get back to the beach, your drink will be done by then because it’s a tiny plastic cup. The food was also extremely disappointing. There are a lot of options but most of the food has not taste. Not to mention the staff has no clue what any of the dishes are. When you ask them what are the dishes they just shrug their shoulders. If you don’t get to the dining hall in the first 20 minutes of dinner opening you will not be able to find a suitable table as there are too many people and not enough room. Most of the food is being served by the employees which means you’re constantly waiting in line in large groups of people just to get a meal that you don’t even know what it is. Also, food finishes very quickly so don’t show up too late! And finally if you are sensitive to mold and mildew smells do not go downstairs to get your towel. The spa downstairs has a horrific mold and mildew smell that can be smelled throughout the whole hotel. We are extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this hotel and I would never recommend anyone to go here. STAY AWAY!

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. Would have been a 5 star hotel when it opened but definitely isn’t now, would say it was more a 3 star.

Our fist night, there was a massive cockroach in the room crawling up the walls. Disgusting.

The food was repetitive and was not aimed for the English, we have been to our fair share of all inclusive Turkish holidays and I’ve never felt bored of the food and I’ve never had to go out to restaurants and pay more money on an all inclusive holiday like we did this holiday. Also annoyed me the amount of people who pushed in front of you to get food, no manners on anyone.

A lot of the staff and cleaners didn’t speak English and I felt there was a massive language barrier.

We were a party of 5 and we were given 2 towels and a small towel so not enough for all of us to shower unless we shared.

Let’s not forget to mention the racket at 2am every day crash bang of people moving around the hotel, people banging on your doors every night while we were trying to sleep.

The music and entertainment around the pool was the same everyday, was really boring by the end of the holiday.
My son enjoyed the kids club and the girls were actually really lovely to him probably the only part of the entertainment team that didn’t seem stuck up or made us feel like they were better than you. We work especially hard to pay for a holiday like this and if we want to rest we should be able to without getting hounded or told you are “lazy”.

I would say the staff treated my son the best as he’s a one year old cheeky little boy with blond hair. Shame they didn’t make us feel the same way.

Make sure if you go out the hotel the whole street will hound you to go in the shops and they are even rude out there.

We won’t be returning here, and I would recommend English to stay away.

Good evening! We stayed at the hotel from September 2 to September 16. Well, what can I say...it’s not exactly 5 stars, since there is something to compare it with. The hotel is sooooo tired and needs renovation. The rooms are in poor condition. The cleaning is simply 🫣 no words! (If you don’t put on slippers, your feet are always dirty. Apparently that’s why the white slippers were changed so often!))) This is the only thing that was changed regularly😂If you want, you can get a kettle in the room with a deposit (200-300 liras, depending on how much Maybe)! No robes! Shampoos, conditioners, etc. are updated only upon special request! The noise insulation is terrible, although we were assured that it would not be heard and we paid an extra $100 upon arrival for a room with a view of the sea (and the pool, since there are no other options), from morning to 5 there is animation and music blaring, even with a child you can’t sleep They could take a nap during the day, they had to sleep by the sea))) in general, the rooms are extremely poorly located, in the morning the animation is screaming, in the evening the hum from the hotel bar is like acoustics in a well. In the family rooms behind the pool there is smoke from the grill and evening animation. Wash the air conditioners already, please, at least in the restaurant where they eat, it’s scary to even look at them, they are so dirty 🫣 And also the chairs are so dirty 🙆 ♀️ The oil was constantly spoiled and melted for 16 days. They caught rotavirus there, and everyone’s throat hurts...
In the main bar in the lobby in the evening, wine is poured into paper cups... well, how is that?!))) Cocktails are a whole different story))) I used to love pina collada, now I don’t!) It’s some kind of liquid that separated after 5 minutes🤢 Bought it ultra all-inclusive package, as a result, all imported drinks are paid for, which is included in the free big secret. If you don’t have time to return towels in the evening, they won’t replace them in the morning, use what you have. Why is this so beyond any logic? The spa has a very strong smell, it smells like mold, there are stains and fungus everywhere on the ceiling, I didn’t even want to go there. They smoke everywhere, even in the amphitheater during the children's animation, children are sitting and everyone is smoking right there. Also on the beach, you want to breathe the sea, but no... you had to constantly leave. The sun loungers are constantly occupied, they put down towels and leave for the whole day, but people cannot find a place in the shade even for an hour. There seems to be an announcement that you cannot make a reservation, but everyone ignores it, and the hotel administration does nothing about it. On the pier it’s generally impossible to find a place under an umbrella, sometimes there was a feeling that in the evening the seats were taken, the towels were tied up and that’s it))) People were already walking there and swearing about it! In other hotels, the administration goes and collects towels from sunbeds (if they are left without things). In general, I don’t know how in Turkey they assign a star rating to a hotel and who checks it, but my opinion is that the hotel is very far from 5 stars!!! I repeat that there is something to compare with, so I say this.

On arrival, we paid €50.00 for a room upgrade as we booked an economy room, not a standard room. The difference was that we got a balcony, note; the economy room doesn't have any windows or a balcony and is more like a storage cupboard with a bed in. This isn't shown in most pictures online. Having travelled to Turkey three times over the years, we have never been so disappointed in a hotel like this one. The cleanliness of the rooms are disgusting, for two days in a run the maid did not bother to put any toilet paper in the bathroom even though we had run out. In fact, we believe the bathroom was not even cleaned. This meant going down to reception both days and waiting 45 minutes for someone to bring toilet paper up. We also come back to the room one day and the maid had placed a new duvet cover next to the duvet which had stains on it. Again I had to see guest relations too get this fixed. For British families with kids, the food isn't great. The food options seem to be more Russian & Romanian oriented. The only place your kids are able to get some fries are at the snack bar during the day. The kids corner isn't a kids corner as you would expect. It's probably the only time they will be able to fill their stomachs. The day time entertainment is the same every day, the music by the pool is bassicly also on repeat. For the price we paid for this hotel we expected alot more.

1. They don’t check in until 2 pm under the pretext that you need to wait. But money will solve this problem (there are rooms, the hotel workers want to make money on you on the spot)
2. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is good. It happened that a couple of times during cleaning they forgot to put two towels. Once they changed it for a towel, which didn’t wash well.
3. The choice of food is varied, you will find something to eat.
4. At the end of the meal, they begin to drive people outside to the pool to make cleaning easier. And everyone smokes there, there is no air conditioning.
5. We wanted to find equipment for table tennis or lawn tennis. I asked in 3 places, but they couldn’t find it.
6. For those who care about animation, it is very weak, you can only see something in the evening, nothing meaningful during the day.
7. The beach is cool, with a view of the mountains. At 12 o'clock you will be given something to eat on the beach itself, and watermelons. Before that, if you want, water, beer, etc.
8. Something needs to be done with the toilets on the ground floor (common hall), because due to the large flow of people it is very dirty. Need to clean more often.

Overall, due to the fact that the hotel is old and tired, it is 4 stars, but not 5.

Objectively: you can relax in it, it’s normal. But with nuances. For myself, I rated it 3 out of 5.

We ready many reviews before we went and was starting to get a bit worried, but to be honest there was no need, the Hotel staff work very hard, the entertainment team must be robots as they never stop, the Bar staff were fantastic towards us all including the children, the food was fantastic and never in short supply the ice cream staff could be a bit nicer , snack bar was good . The little coffee and snack bar by the relax pool was amazing, Rooms were clean but yes need updating, but overall a great time was had by all. If you fancy a good day out try Goynuk canyon or Tims bar up the road from the hotel, There is an indoor pool and its always very quiet .if all the people who visited had the same respect for the hotel staff who work hard , there would be cups and plates by the pool. The man who waljs around during the day deserves a big thank you and lirs of respect. Smile and enjoy your visit. Be careful of the reception staff who seems to tell everyone that your holiday firm dont have permission to sell you the room you booked and then charge you 200 euros CASH to upgrade.!!!! This was the worst part on arrival , but we had 2 rooms one by the pool eventually with a balcony and a family room in the actual hotel. Dont let the reception staff put you of going. You xan enjoy your stay
