We stayed all inclusive at the Messina Resort hotel Kalo Nero in September 2016. When we booked the reviews on Tripadvisor were generally fairly good, however when we looked again just prior to our stay we were disappointed to see several negative reviews. We hoped that these were anomalies but when we arrived we realised that the hotel was just...

I am surprised at the conflicting reviews of this hotel. Guests should not expect too much from a hotel situated in a small village, and staffed by slightly inexperienced employees. The positives are that you get your money's worth. It is very close to a fantastic beach. You can also visit A+ beaches in the vicinity within 50 km. The...

The hotel is a 4* one, however it has many shortcomings as far as its services is concerned. Cons: *) To start with the breakfast, lunch and meal are poor both in quality as well as in quantity. The options in breakfast were the same for the whole week we stayed and the lunch and meal includes 6-7 options from...

In any request we experienced negative responce. I asked for towels, they never came, I asked for ironing board it never came. The housekeeping doesn't exist.

We spent two weeks in Messina Resort in the small village of Kalo Nero from mid July. The hotel, consisting of several buildings with appartments and studios, looks rather impressive. It has a lovely garden and a small artificial river slowly flowing through the middle between the buildings. Advantages: - the studio was spacious and comfortable with solid, nice looking...

Pros: The location is very good, near by the beach. Excellent sunset Quiet place. Cons: Very very poor breakfast, limited amount of fruits, not good choice of fruits (in 7 days we got only apples and orange, in July) and meals. If you ask for more fruits or other varieties, they will answer that the manager doesn't allows it. Room...
