Great base. Stayed here first week of April 2022 as a family of 4, was driven a top floor room near reception . It was excellent size and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Big supermarket close by and restaurant on site. Pool was closed but we were informed of this prior to travel. Friendly and helpful reception. Would travel back and stay here again
Stayed in a 2 bed apartment end of September. Apartment was fantastic, great size and very clean. We had a view of the estuary which was great. My only criticism was lack of iron and toaster in the kitchen but wasn't really a problem. Cleaning staff were great and came every day, though we sometimes sent them away as we didn't need them. Pool was really nice with plenty of sunbeds around it but we tended to sit in the gardens under the trees. Also swam in the estuary once I bought swimming shoes which was great. Pool bar serves all kinds of drinks and sandwiches ets, staff there were lovely. No complaints really. I would go back in a heartbeat.
We stayed half board. The meals were good value and the restaurant staff were very nice. The pool area was lovely and well kept, and the staff very nice too. Expensive though. The beach is not good, looks more like the side of a lake and the water was not inviting enough to swim in. The accommodation is basic and a bit tatty but clean. You get what you pay for. The only thing I would complain about is the trips that the reception staff are selling. We went on the paxos/anti paxos trip, which was very good. My mum who is 75 and has mobility issues wanted to go on the Albania trip and asked if there would be much walking as she can only manage to walk a bit. She was reassured that there wasn’t much walking and that she would be fine. She wasn’t fine. There was loads of walking and uphill too with a fast paced guide. My mum nearly collapsed. When she got back she was in a real state and burst into tears. She went to complain to reception and they told her that they didn’t realise as they had never been. Now if you are promoting an excursion and receiving commission for selling that excursion, they should know what it entails. This was my only issue with the holiday.…
We stayed for a week in May here at one of the apartments in "Govia Bay Corfu" and had a lovely time as a family. The apartment is exactly what you need for a short trip like we had. Featuring two bathrooms, living room and a large open terraced style balcony allowed us to eat and even play some games. All of the staff couldn't have been nicer to be honest and Madeline is just wonderful helping in any situation and like an oracle of local knowledge.
We have stayed here a few times and the quality of accommodation has gone realy poor. When we arrived we were so shocked by the poor quality of rooms and complained the next day and the receptionist was very abrupt looking up how many times we said we stayed. We were offered to move same type of poor quality rooms which was senseless she also said thats what we have to expect in there accommodation which is not not right thing to say as we know they have better accommodation as stayed before . The food and staff at restaurant by the side of resort was exceptional and very friendly. I will not be going back after coming here many years and quality very poor and receptionist very rude. Don't waist ur money rooms look like the 80s and very minimal
We booked this for 1 week as a last minute decision. The reception was very friendly and they even tried to check us in 4 hrs earlier. Once we started to walk around the resort, we realised that we made a big mistake but this all depends on what you want in a holiday resort and your budget. Sadly, this was not for us. This resort looked very dated, in desperate need of some paint, pool was empty, grass was overgrown. The surroundings area was very dirty, rubbish bins were overflowing, the side roads were disgusting and really not suited to take a walk to a local restaurant, if you could find one. I understand that we arrived out of season but there are those families that prefer the quiet and on this occasion this did not tick any boxes for us. We cancelled our check in that very same day and went to a Hotel instead which completely satisfied our every need and purpose. Folks, don't be fooled by the photos.…
The room was ok, but there was no Air Condition on the bed room. The location of the resident was good. The beach was not good it was muddy. Not very suitable for families, there most of the residents was 20 - 25 years old, they was very noisy during ALL DAY AND NIGHT.
Dont be fooled by the pictures!! The rooms are dirty, the wifi is not working, we have ANTS in the bathroom and kitchen, under the beds it lookes like it’s never been cleaned ever, and somehow even though all the wondows and doors were closed A CAT CAME IN OUR ROOM AND URINATED ON OUR CLOTHES AND LAPTOP, which is now completely not working!! The manager laughed at us and saud it’s not her responsibility and didn’t even wanted to try and help. A friend was thrown in the pool by an employee from the terrace and his phone is dead now. Just go somewhere else!!
