This hotel has zero credibility and has left my family’s summer in ruins. To cancel our holiday, 2 weeks prior to flying is appalling. We are left with worthless flights and no alternatives. Still can’t believe what has happened and the lack of care from Dreams.

Hotel's Favorite
Fantastic hotel, would heartily recommend a holiday here. The food was excellent (we know good food and a lot of work goes into this restaurant!), there’s so much choice, different dishes every day, spotlessly clean and much care was taken during service by the team and the Manager. I honestly rate this as the best hotel food we’ve had, when compared with any of the other 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in over the years. The maid service and housekeeping team are to be highly commended also, the hotel was totally spotless in all areas, regardless of the time of day. They also had lots of measures in place for Covid awareness. The scenery around the hotel is in is beautiful, stunning views across the peninsula and just a 5 minutes walk into a nice town and marina if, like us, you don’t want to live in the hotel every moment of your stay? Just 20 minutes bus ride to Corfu town also. Don’t let any negative reviews put you off, this hotel is excellent and the team obviously works very hard. We would definitely return and loved our holiday here! Thanks you team!

Was due to stay at this hotel 8th July however a month before it became apparent the hotel would not be open in time. The hotel continued to lie up until the very last minute about the opening date, eventually cancelling just 3 weeks before our visit leaving us little time to find an alternative (no compensation offered from the hotel). The hotel were even lying about the opening date up until the morning of the cancellations. It seems highly unlikely the hotel will be open by their new opening date of 22nd July and probably a half finished hotel. Do not book here unless you want to stay on a construction site.

We booked to visit in early July. It was supposed to open in May 2022. This was put back to 1st July. Then on 23rd May we saw a post on Instagram that suggested the resort was opening on the 22nd July. We, along with lots of other who had booked early July then started to query this. Instead of answering the numerous queries from worried clients they just changed the post to become less specific. We called the Dreams customer line and the actual hotel on numerous occasions and got reassurance on every occasion that the hotel would open on the 1st July. On 21st June we got a brief note from the company to say that they regretted that they weren’t able to open on 1st July and guess what - the opening date is now the 22nd July (the same date as in the Instagram post on 23rd May, which suggests they were well aware of the delay back in May!). We are now having to spend a huge amount of time finding an alternative holiday. If this company is what dreams are made of, I’d rather not go to sleep!!

We were meant to arrive at the this hotel for a long awaited break in July . The hotel even sent an email advising they would be open by July 1st. I had a bad feeling about it as they had no genuine photos of the newly refurbished property and were still using artist impression images three weeks before their scheduled opening date. I eventually found out on good authority that the hotel would not be open and ready despite the emails sent by the hotel (total lies) . We had a last minute scramble to book somewhere else and have had to pay extra to get an equivalent star rated hotel at this late stage. I really think it’s bad practice and down right selfish to string guests along like this. There was also no offer of compensation or offer to rebook at a very reduced rate next year. I’m absolutely livid with this hotels lack of integrity .

Can I start my review by making the following observations based on reviews I read (stalked everyday) and then my own opinion when we arrived; if your main concern on holiday (especially during a pandemic) is a few rips on leather seats, a few cold chips here and you expect premium alcohol on a budget... then I feel very sorry for you and you dont deserve this hotel or any holiday at all. We booked this trip a few weeks in advance with the expectation to get away after almost 2 years of no holidays, enjoy the sun and culture and just to relax in general. And that we did! Corcyra Beach Hotel has been taken over and as per other reviews there are works happening (men with clipboards daily). Infact this is the last day it will be open until the new season next year for renovation works and the hotel very kindly let us stay in the room until 6pm FREE of charge. The hotel has an amazing view from the lobby and restaurant. The food is plentiful at all sittings, if you are picky you will find something. There is plenty of choice in drinks - mineral water, local soft drinks, wine and beer on tap and the spirits are your average european all inclusive range. We had what appeared to be a family room with 2 extra single beds, the room was spacious and kept clean everyday, fresh towels and they even closed the curtains to keep the room cool during the day. We didnt care about our entrance facing view, as we spent most of our time exploring, at the choice of 2 pools or the hotels private beach. All very well kept with music and entertainment, bar snacks, drinks and friendly faces around every corner. As a young couple, I cannot say we will be back soon as we like to venture to different countries each year. However, I will recommend this to anyone visiting Corfu. Gouvia is a perfect starting point to visit Corfu old town during the day or make your way to the beautiful scenic north of the island. Thank you to all the staff at Corcyra Beach and good luck with the renovations :)

As soon as you arrive at the hotel you immediately see the stunning backdrop of this hotel. Check in was quick and friendly & you are taken off with your luggage in a buggy to your accommodation. We booked a bungalow in with our online holiday booking, but on reflection we should have waited until we got to the hotel and saved some money by upgrading there. It was spacious and clean & had great views out to sea and was very near the beach. The beach has a couple of choices for you to spend the day and the water is lovely and calm. There is also a large pool and a smaller one for children The staff are very efficient, in particular, the domestic crew and restaurant staff who run the restaurant extremely well. The food is your usual all-inclusive fare and if you are a vegetarian/vegan you will love the huge choice of salads and veg. The entertainment is lacking somewhat, a dedicated animation team performing each night would be far better than what is on currently. One night there was an opera singer and the other night a bassouki player - both pretty much for a very specific taste. On the Friday night, the entertainment was a request your own music night which we found somewhat lacklustre and non-imaginative. However, rather than rely on the entertainment, the local village is a 5 minute walk away with a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Also if you fancy exploring the island there are hire cars on site. There is Corfu Town & many beautiful beaches within an hour or so.

I let other people’s judgement get the better of me and was a little sceptical before booking. Therefore Corcyra beach exceeded my expectations, the views are fantastic across the bay especially from the main restaurant. We generally went to the lower pool with a sea view, delicious pizza and belly pork from the restaurant, lovely bar staff and we even paddle boarded over to Gouvia church across the bay. Our room was fantastic, having booked a standard inland view room through Jet2, we upgraded to a sea view bungalow for only £89 for the week!! (Picture attached). The bar staff and entertainment in the evening were great from music quizzes, to magicians and singers. If you like a refreshing cocktail ask for an amaretto sour, I don’t like overpowering almond but it was delicious. Location wise Gouvia is called a village but is more like a small town, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s only 15 mins €20 to Corfu town which is buzzing with vibrance and culture. All in all I'm sad to be leaving and cannot wait to return, thank you to all the staff for making our holiday fantastic!

Hotel corcyra is a good 4 stars hotel with a splendid view. It’s a bit dated but got everything you need to have a very pleasant holiday. The receptionists Athena and Nikoleta are very professional, friendly and super helpful. The room is absolutely fine, breakfast is amazing with the view direct on the sea, the food is pretty effortless in the evening and the quality is not great but you can always find something.hopefully it’s because Covid and end of season . The housekeeping is absolutely amazing , working non stop and smiling all day long . The hotel is very very clean and the garden ground are beautiful. In General I would recommend this hotel and would be back. The only down is the horrible man receptionist in the evening and who work overnight. He is rude and has no pride. But it’s easy to avoid him and enjoy a very good holiday at this very spacious and tranquil hotel . Thank you all for working so hard in these difficult times🙏♥️

What a spot for a hotel, must have a sea view. Also very close to the village with bars and restaurants. Up for a major reverb over the winter as new owners so lots of people with clip boards. the reverb is needed As with most AI food got boring by second week entertainment on the whole was rubbish could do with area not included in entertainment for quite drink. Not all people following Covid rule masks etc But the view is brilliant
