I can reaffirm some of the other review comments in that this hotel requires investment to modernise its facilities. Having stayed in Greek family owned hotels I knew to expect lower standards, etc. The staff service was excellent and friendly. I firmly believe that warned not to drink tap water should be accompanied with a complimentary bottle of water. We chose this hotel for its location close to the beach in a small tourist community and to public transport which was easy, cheap, and prompt. Hotel restaurant seemed to be full most nights, being half board we were not disappointed. I have to comment on the sensational bread. The pebbly child safe beach close by had loads of sunchairs brollies and a table for 8 euros per couple per day. Waitress service from a local taverna. Paddle boats etc free showers all really rather heavenly. Down side over flying jets. I strongly recommend that the local community pressurise the authorities to have them fly south over less populated and touristy area. Sadly car hire has an upper age limit in Corfu so my exploration was limited to buses and open tops which was an adventure in itself. Shopping in Govia was good and not expensive. Found a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Find your own. We lunched at the Blue Café at the north end of the marina, recommend. The town seemed to have many cafes bars taverns spoilt for choice. Found the Greeks so fab to chat to, came across some expats beach cleaning they were bit grumpy. A lovely holiday.

Just come home from a stay here...amazing staff! Nothing too much trouble..clean rooms every day..bathroom a little on the small side, but catered for what we needed.. excellent staff on reception..asked to keep on the room, as we had a late flight, no problems or cost! We will move definitely stay here again, as it was so relaxing!

My husband and I came here at the start of the season. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was basic but adequate. The shower was a tad on the small side and was right next to the toilet. We went to the pool area which was lovely. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere around the pool then this is the place for you. I was a bit disappointed that the pool bar wasn’t opened, my husband and I had to walk into the hotel to get a drink and would have been nicer if the pool bar was open. However the bar staff did bring our drinks out to us once we had ordered them. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely and the food was amazing. The hotel was central to everything and only a minute walk to the beach. We are coming back to Gouvia in August and we will definitely come back to the restaurant. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely.

Booked my holiday pretty late. Was not sure about this 2 stars Hotel, but I did like the weather forecast. I love this place. Everybody that works here are so very friendly and helpfull, wanting you to have a super holiday. Breakfast pretty basic and fresh. Restaurant serves tastefull well done food. The room was pretty small and bathroom very small. I do though prefer this hotel to 5 stars huge hotels. Just needed to anounce an allergi/dislike once - and it was remembered. Busstop and supermarket close by. Gouvia City is a nice city. Beach very close to the Hotel. I sure will have to go back another time ❤

Stayed here recently, staff were friendly, our cleaner worked exceptionally hard everyday, food in the restaurant was fine. Biggest problem was the room. It was very small and the shower room was tiny, the shower-tray right beside the toilet. Also the lovely pool had no atmosphere, you couldn't buy snacks or drinks and other people just brought their own food and drinks leaving litter everywhere and played their radios loudly with no-one checking them. We were very disappointed and will never return.
