I booked this with a friend. We intended to stay one night and we were given a canal room with two balconies. The location on the canal was perfect. This is more a bed and breakfast. We liked Sete so much we ended up staying for five nights. When we booked the third and fourth night we were also given,... More

We booked Les Joutes Royale on the basis of reviews we had read and were not disappointed. We stayed for five nights in September 2013 and the weather was fantastic which was great for visiting nearby historical sites and beaches. Our room was a good size and very clean and comfortable with two balconies overlooking the canal area.- a lovely... More

The... More

Some of the more negative reviews seem to be expecting a hotel of this little place - it is more of a B&B run by the family, who are very welcoming and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights in May 2013, in a room on the top floor which was evidently meant for les amoureux and was very spacious and... More

We stayed for three nights in August 2012. Sophie and her family were very welcoming when we arrived early for our stay.Sophie who runs Les Joutes Royales doesn't speak much English and we didn't speak much French but her daughters and boyfriends were very, very helpful. We got by. They helped us park our car which was very kind of... More
