“Captain Jahks Sparrow” was an amazing guide. He made us feel very comfortable and safe, even though we were a little scared sometimes (some of us were very scared…). Great experience!!! We loved relaxing in the hot tub after, drinking a beer and warming up! Thanks Jahks!!!

Nice little cottages on a well spread out area as well as close to the river from where you can go rafting. As they have camp & also RV parking areas, a separate building with open kitchen where you can cook and also dine available with adequate crockery & cutlery. Good breakfast

It’s nice enough but seems like more of a place to stay and enjoy the water activities offered at the property. It doesn’t really seem like a typical place to stay while driving the ring road. Breakfast was not included so we paid extra and it was pretty meager.

The East Glacial river that this rafting experience takes you on is full of turbulent water most of the way so rapids come often. It is narrow in parts which adds to the excitement. Our crew got us involved paddling as a team. Be prepared to get wet in this cold water but you get good wetsuits. You do need to be able to hold your breath and be prepared to be thrown out at least once. The team was great at getting you all back in the boat. Not for the faint hearted but definitely doable. For those who want more action there is a chance to jump off a cliff d a few other things. The hot lamb soup at the end is awesome. A great chance to be in the canyon look up instead of walking along the top. We had blue skies the whole way which helped with visual satisfaction and kept us warmer.

We stayed in a cabin for multiple nights. Great location to see a lot of Northern Iceland. The cabin was comfortable and the food amazing. Highly recommend staying there. We also went river rafting and the team was exceptional.

We camped there on the campsite. Paid about 20 euros. showers included . Closed shared kitchen , super cozy , with fire set . We went there in September so can’t say what it would be in high season, but we always had the kitchen to ourselves. Only 3 cars total( including a motor home). Beautiful landscape. Would definetly return if I had to.

We were doing the whole road trip on Iceland and this was our first stop, so we stayed just for 1 night. A great place to stop.
The staff is friendly and the place is very cozy.
My room was really comfortable and had a nice view.
The breakfast was also nice.

The people at this place really went the extra mile for the group I was in and made a huge effort to make us feel welcome.
The rooms were clean. The food was very good and when I was there there was an icelandic holiday and for dinner we were served some traditional icelandic meals.
