We stayed just one night on the way to Akureyri in August, but wish we had booked for longer! Stunning views in all directions from their great position on top of the hill above town, and the natural hot pool in the middle of the cottages is a great place to soak up the 360 sunset mountain views. The wooden cottage itself was well built, very well equipped and finished to a good quality. The staff in the office were very helpful and responsive. Makes for a very cosy place to stay, summer or winter!

We stayed here for one night and don't have much which horses. So that could be the problem. It's a very horsefriendly environment. We had the big (6 person) house and climbed our way up to the sleeping rooms. Simple beds. We left our luggages downstairs so the living room was a bit overwhelmed. Be warned, the sulfur containing warm water comes right out the shower. A nice geysir experience, if you like the smell which I don't. The outside hottob is a nice feauture.

We're 4 and stayed the biggest cottage in this place. It has two toilet & 1 shower. Kitchen was little bit small, but well-equipped. Room was fine. The cottage was quite cozy and enough to be relaxed. The best part of this place is the small outdoor hot spring! We traveled Iceland in December and the weather was quite bed. So the hot spring was perfect for us who skipped Blue Lagoon & Mývatn due to the bad weather & high price. It was enough for max 10 people(maybe). One thing you should know is the reception is quite far from the cottage, so please drop by the reception first and then go to the cottage.

We were 6 people trapped due to bad weather in Skagafjörður and had to stay one night until the mountain opened and I booked one night with them. I made a mistake in the booking and had to change house and it was no problem. Beautiful warm houses and great service. We slept like angels :-) thank you very much
