We stayed in this hotel for a night mid September. The hotel staff is really nice, and the little parc pleasant. We had a room in the side-building, and it was clean and functional, the bedroom was average, but the bathroom really nice. The room is very very noisy when it comes to the noise coming from the inside of...

Although there had been some misunderstandings prior to our arrival (concerning the number of beds we required for our family of four) the owners did their very best to provide us with an extra bed in the suite that we had booked. The main room was really very spacious and everything else as expected. As we arrived on a very...

This place is great. We were cycling and had two rooms, one in the main house and one in the grounds. I think they were converted stables. Our room, in the grounds was lovely. Newly refurbished, or it looked it, it was exceptional. Lovely walk in shower, comfy beds, large TV, plenty of heating should you want it. You don't...

we had a great welcome from Anne - Laure - she was so friendly & cheerful and much deserves a very positive review. We had a lovely clean room & nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent too. We only stayed for one night but she treated us as if we...

Sûre, nice staff and a nice main building but the side building is lousy. Cockroaches in the room, a musty smell and decoration from 20 years ago. You can do better in this town. Also the street is very noisy despite the soundproof glass. Did not try the pool

Overnight stop here on way to the Il de Re from Cherbourg. Very comfortable stopover, large grounds, plenty of secure parking, close to Chateau Gontier centre, modern spa with heated outdoor pool, excellent breakfast. We would use the Parc Hotel again due to the above points and especially the very friendly female proprietor who couldn't do enough for us -...

We stayed here for 2 nights in late September. We had booked a Comfort grade room, and were assigned Room 42. Whilst the decor was initially startling, it was a lovely spacious comfortable room, with a new bathroom and a separate loo - heaven! Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Anne-Laure, the owner, was welcoming and helpful, and totally...

Following a very disappointing overnight stay in Sable-sur-Sarthe, we chose to spend the second night of a two-day break in Chateau Gontier. The poor motel in Sable certainly did us a favour, otherwise we would not have discovered the Parc Hotel. What a treat to be so warmly welcomed by Madame! We were given a choice of rooms and chose...

We stayed for one night and received a warm welcome. Our room was not in the main house and was a little basic but a good size. We enjoyed using the spa facilities, which were lovely. The grounds were beautiful and there was a good choice at breakfast.

Stayed one night here on way back to Cherbourg. Very lucky find. We stayed in a separate block from the house - maybe renovated stables. But extremely well appointed. Bright modern decor and comfortable bed. Lovely grounds with pool and spa facilities although we did not use them. We knew the hotel did not have a restaurant and as it...
