All in all a really nice place to stay, the roof garden gives you wonderful views of the coast and Rabat, it's nice and close via the tram for 6 Dirhams and easy to get to! The staff were really kind and although we didn't speak the language we found some common ground and had a few laughs! I would...

Firstly, the hostel was rather difficult to locate, even with Google Maps. The location of Riad a la Belle Etoile isn't actually central Rabat, it is in the smaller sub-town of Sale so it isn't exactly that convenient to get to central Rabat. We were told online that we could check in after 2pm but when we arrived, we were...

This is a very nice hotel in Sale. The walls are ornamented and you really get the look of morrocan style. Arches, tiles, funriture and fabrics are all made to complement this morrocan Riad. There are not many rooms, but I would choose the suite, with windows into the court and out to the street. There is also more privacy...

I really enjoyed my weekend get-away at Riad La Belle Etoile. The manager Ragaa was especially friendly and helpful. She prepared a nice breakfast each morning on the pleasant terrace. My room was was on the terrace level with very nice sea view and tastefully decorated in blue and white to match its name "Essaouira". I also had an excellent...

This (even quite expensive) place is just awful. The Riad itself is a nice place, but it needs cleaning, something against the smell and the huge cockroaches in the room. The staff there does not care at all about the customers. We spent a week there and it was impossible to sleep because the staff (!) was shouting and laughing...

A traditional riad, just behind the medina walls. We parked in last gap in the alley behind: the hotel website said it was guarded, but no-one was there when we drove away. The one girl there was efficient, fetching us from a nearby street (I cannot see how it would be possible to find the hotel from a map) and...

The riad itself is beautiful with amazing attention to detail and very grand. It has an amazing roof terrace which is ideal for catching evening concerts in summer and lounging in the sun. Stephane the proprietor was very kind and helpful in arranging for me to travel to Chefchaouen at short notice and believe got a good price for the...

Our 1 night stay at the riad in Rabat, was excellent. We were there for the Mawazine music festival, and we arrived into Rabat from Essaouira late at night. The gentleman welcomed us into the riad despite the time and was very kind. The room was spacious, relatively clean (though a little dusty and my allergies went crazy) and the...

It was our last night and we wanted to be near the airport. This worked. It took is a while to find it but it is a very nice riad. It was clean and the service was above expectations. The owner left our breakfast out the night before as we had a very early flight. A bit noisy but overall...
