Detailed Reviews
A bit of a difficult one this. We had a good holiday & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves so I don't want to be too critical. The rooms are what you'd expect from 2* Greek accommodation, basic but adequate. Our room was cleaned every other day, which included clean bedding & towels. Bathroom seemed to be newly fitted but hardly any water came out of the shower, so off came the shower head - washing up liquid, hot water & a scouring pad sorted it. Surely basic maintenance? What I washed out wasn't very nice. Kitchen area is a sink, draining area & 2 cooking rings, no preparation area. Plug sockets are over the sink, no cooking utensils, not even a frying pan (borrowed one from another guest) Location is excellent, literally 5 minutes from beach, bars, shops & restaurants. The pool area & pool bar are run separately to the accomodation & are great. The couple running it are lovely & will do anything & everything to help you out (a shame they don't also run the apartments). Now my biggest annoyance, half way through our holiday 2 young women were put in the room next door. We walked out with them on their first evening & sent them in the direction of the restaurants, by coincidence we also bumped into each other on the way back. We found out the next morning that the glass shower door had shattered on 1 of them & she needed medical treatment having glass in her hand & foot. The owner was more concerned about the shower door than her guests, accused them of being drunk (they were not, we walked up with them) & then took their passports off them & charged them €300 for a 6ft X 2ft piece of toughened glass.
Is this place suitable for children? No.
Would I stay here again? No.
Would I visit the pool bar again & see the couple running that? Most definitely.

We stayed here for 11 nights in May.
Apartments are basic but clean. As with anywhere I've stayed in Greece over the last 30 years the interior is very different to what we have at home but this does not detract from the experience.
The walk in shower was an unexpected bonus and there was always copious amounts of hot water regardless of the time we used it.
The 'kitchen' area was very small but had a kettle, toaster, fridge and plenty of crockery and cutlery and as we mostly eat out suited our needs.
There is a courtesy hairdryer and toilet tissue is also provided on arrival.
The balcony was large but the sun didn't reach it till very late in the day. You could however sit to the rear of the apartment which is where the sun rose.
The bedding and towels were regularly changed and there was extra covers should you require them. There was a double wardrobe with drawers, a single one with shelves and lots of drawer space should you need more.
Although we prefer the beach the pool area was well maintained and the pool bar provided a good opportunity for visitors to come together should they choose to do so.
The apartments were literally five minutes walk from the beach which had around 60 sets of loungers (8 euros hire charge per day) or free in the neighbouring snack bars.
The setback location meant the noise from the Main strip was not at all intrusive.
There were lots of fantastic restaurants where we were treated to some delicious food within a 20 minute stroll.
These apartments suited us down to the ground and the owner was so kind and friendly we wouldn't hesitate to return.
Well worth a visit if you're looking for a chilled vibe in a good location.

We have stayed at Timotheos apartments for the past 9 years, most years twice a year. We began staying many years ago prior to the bathroom upgrades. Yes there is a sliding door to the walk in shower which has quite a big sign on the wall asking you to open and close the shower door carefully and slowly. We personally have never had a problem and have always found the owners to be very friendly. Yes the apartments could do with a lick of paint but if you choose to stay at one of the cheapest apartments in Argassi then obviously do not arrive expecting the Ritz. If you want luxury then these apartments are probably not for you and you are best staying elsewhere but it will cost a lot more. Yes the apartments are basic Greek accommodation but are clean with a comfortable bed, sheets and towels changed 3 times a week, if like us you are out most of the time then it is fine. There is probably one of the best kept pools in Argassi thanks to Thanasis & Lena who run the pool and pool bar, another bonus is the pool bar is open until midnight where as most pool bars close around 7pm

The worst hotel I have ever visited. I am a travel agent and have been for 18 years, I go on around 6 holidays each year and this is the first time I have written a review as a I need to warn people about this terrible, dirty, disgusting place with the most rude, ignorant, bullying owners I have ever met.
The only good thing about this hotel are the lovely couple who own the pool bar and restaurant, they are so lovely and welcoming and Lena cooks the most wonderful food.
When we first arrived, we were shown to our room by the lovely gentlemen who owns the pool bar as the hotel has no reception, he showed us how to work the shutters on the balcony door and left. We then put down our bags to start to unpack when a lady (the owner of the apartments) just appeared in the room, no welcome, no introduction of herself, we had no clue who she was, she just abruptly told us that she needs 50 euros from us for air conditioning, 25 euros for the safe and 5 euros tax, she then walked over to the shutters and said if you break this handle you will be charged 30 euros so make sure you shut it properly. We were quite stunned by her rudeness and politely asked that we could have a minute to just settle as we have been travelling all day and been in the room all of two minutes.
Every guest we spoke with said that the rude owner stormed their room demanding money as soon as they arrived.
The room was filthy and disgusting, we could smell the most disgusting smell but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, until we went to get in bed and realised it was the pillows, I have never seen anything like it in my life. Rotten, dirty, mouldy, full of stains. I have attached the photos. There was no mattress protectors on the beds, just one thin sheet covering a rotten, thin mattress, it was disgusting. The shower didn’t have a shower pole so you couldn’t wash without the water spraying the whole bathroom. The toilet seat was broken off and the seat just balanced on the base. The cooker was rotten, we never used it but we spoke with one guest who asked the owner to show him how to use his and her reply was ‘you can’t use the cooker It isn’t safe’
We spoke with other hotel guests who said that they go to the beach pool bars every day because they didn’t want to spend money at the hotel due to the rude, money demanding owners, which is a real shame because the pool bar and restaurant at the hotel is owned by a lovely couple and not the owners of the apartments.
This is only half of the terrible experience, some of it I have to leave out for legal reasons but once legal proceedings have been completed, I will be sure to add the rest.
Please don’t waste your money going here, there are lots of other lovely, clean hotels in that area with lovely owners. You will be robbed by the owners in this place.

We have just had a 3 week stay at the studios, ok it's not the ritz but then again I didn't pay for the ritz, the rooms were kept clean, with frequent changing of beds and towels, I was a bit worried after reading horror stories but it was fine, we had a problem with ants at one point in the 1st week and this was sorted immediately, we didn't see them again.
The rooms are basic, the showers well I wish I could take it home with me lol, in my opinion they could do with a lick of paint just to freshen them up again.
Anastasia the owner was lovely, and would always ask if anything needed doing, the reply apart from the ants was always no.
She didn't chase us for the money for the air con etc, as previously stated, she did however show us to our room and tell us how much things were if we wanted them.
The pool bar is run separately from the apartments by Thanassis and Lena whom I have known for a few years, the food was lovely and no Lena does not chase you for the money as also previously stated they are beautiful people inside and out.
With there only being 26 apartments, there was always space around and in the pool, which was always warm as its a bit of sun trap.
The apartments are set back from the road behind Stars Taverna, which means they were very quiet with no road noise, they are at the bottom end of town but only a few mins walk to the center of town, with plenty of restaurants along the way.
Would I stay here again, DEFINITELY in fact I can't wait to return.
If your happy to just have somewhere to wash and put your head down and don't mind basic then these are the apartments for you.

After taking several holidays to Greece we have realised that the self catering acco is basic no matter how much you pay, but be warned this is BASIC, but depending which block you are put in! Block to the right hand side has been refurbished but in cell block H which we were in well it’s a different kettle of fish. We experienced a few issues which I have to say once I spoke with the rep were fixed but the one thing they won’t fix/amend is the shower head, it’s difficult to shower with one hand but we did manage.
However the poolside area which is run by a lovely Greek couple and their dog “Goofy” are just delightful
Very welcoming, the beds and umbrellas are free to use along with the pool, if you want a cushion on your bed then it’s €1 each per day and all they ask ( and there is a sign) is that you don’t bring and drink your own food which to be honest is only fair. These guys have been hit by the pandemic just like us and have a short season of only 6 months to make their money, so please don’t take the mick like some were doing, and if she catches you she will tell you off which I think good on her, it’s a great little pool area and it’s free to use so don’t abuse it

No reception or staff to welcome you and check you in just a friendly lady who runs the pool/bar who handed over a key and showed us the room but was only really interested in telling us not to break the shutter doors on the balcony otherwise we will be charged, great start to the holiday! The room was the most basic I have ever stayed in and I've travelled extensively. The furniture is falling apart and doesn't match, the bed, omg was like sleeping on a corrugated iron mattresses with only a thin sheet covering it, dread to think what the mattress looked like 😣 There is no such kitchen, the hobs are absolutely filthy and would not even think about using them, the plug socket for the kettle was over the sink, not really a safe place putting electricity near water! The bathroom ( more like shower cubicle) was basic with no shower head hook, had to try and wash hair using 1 hand 😤. The shower curtain was dirty and way to big for the shower. Manager came early next morning wanting the hotel voucher, was all she seemed bothered about, I mentioned the shower head and also the ants in the bathroom, she said she will get a shower head, 5 days later and thankfully our leaving day, still not 1 put up. Website states all room with pool view, this is not true, we overlooked fields and a cockrel pen🐓🐓, u can imagine that at 3am every morning 🙉! Can't comment on food, drink or pool as didn't hang around during day or night, we came to zante for a friend's wedding on a short break and needed a base but wouldn't stay here again.

As previous reviews state, dropped off at roadside and pointed up a slope in the dark, no reception, woman came out as we struggled up the slope and said room number and then buggered off leaving tired and confused guests blundering about until said woman reappeared and showed us to our room Room shabby and dated, socket next to my bed didn't work, no shower as such, just a shower head you had to hold over yourself- i.e. no upper bracket to put the head unit in so you could actually have a shower, "shower" basin stained. HOWEVER: plenty of 1980s drawer space, large balcony looking out onto rear of car hire business (but you can see the sea off to the left), 5 minutes walk from Argassi beach (small but lovely and sandy) off-road location so the fairly busy main road did not impinge, short walk to loads of tavernas and bars. room service 3 times in a week, and we had a great holiday in spite of not because of the room. Hardly deserves 2 stars, more like one and a half, and it was not cheap.

So upon arrival there was no reception area. I was greeted by an old man who seemed to own the bar and not the accommodation he told me that the room isn’t ready and to wait somewhere for half an hour so I did. When this was up I then waited for an extra half an hour before he came to me and took me to my room.
When he showed me to the room he gave me a key, showed me how to not break the door and then left. There was no information about WiFi, air conditioning or anything else. When I went about getting air conditioning I was told there was nothing he could do because the owner isn’t he and he doesn’t know when they will be here so I had to deal with no air con all night. This was by far the worst attempt of a sleep in my life. The following day at 7pm the owner let herself into my room and barged in to give me the remote telling me it would be €50 for 6 nights (even though I lost a night)and I would pay her at the end of the week. The only time you see the owner is when she wants money!
The rooms are very out dated for anyone who is going for a long time or with children, it is very hard to shower with the shower being really small and low down and the curtain hardly even covers the base. The beds are really small and old which was hard to get comfortable on. Also towels and bedding only got changed once the whole week which is very poor service, and most door handles where hanging off. Last but not least it isn’t very hygienic due to mould on the walls.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The air con is €7 per day
Same question!!! :)
It depends on the star rating of the accommodation. Can go from around 0.50 to 4 euros a night.
