Recently returned from a fantastic two week stay at this wonderful hotel. Beautiful recently refurbished room, spotlessly clean and serviced every day. The food (breakfast) was excellent with plenty of choice covering a range of UK and continental tastes. Air/con, fridge and safe were extra and cost around a further 120 euros. Then, of course, there was the tourist tax, another 21 euros, so be prepared for extra outlay. On the plus side, the beach sunbeds are only 7 euros for 2+umb, although the sea can get messed up with dirty black seaweed at certain times of day. The location is ideal being in the centre of things but just on the junction with a quieter country lane (no thumping music into the night).Walk out of the car park gates (at the rear) and turn right. Five mins down the lane brings you to the Elena Grill in it's garden setting surrounded by quiet countryside. Another good location is the Green Frog at the southern end of the town. They have a garden at the rear. The food and service in both these places is first class. Other good restaurants include Gyropolis and Red Wine. These are along the main road and the setting is a little noisier. Bars include Mind The Gap just up from the hotel, Remezzo just off the beach and Mimosa Bar with it's serene sea-view. Can recommend Peter Travel if you want trips. A real professional and a perfect gentleman. If, like me, you prefer to get walking up in the hills, Turn up the side of the Stars bar, follow the footpath across the field. At the road, cross over and take the lane opposite to the Vrysakia Aqueduct, past the ruined Agios Elipsos church, and follow the signs to the Kanalos taverna (app 2 miles) where you can enjoy a drink whilst looking over Kalamaki Bay on the opposite side. Follow the path down app 500 metres and you get a glimpse of the ruined Agios Andreas church up to your left. (Return the same way). Plenty to do and so nice to have such a lovely place to come back to at bedtime. And the beds are SO comfy !!

Just returned from a 2 week stay. Hotel lovely staff friendly, helpful especially when I was poorly first few days. Breakfast ok could be slightly better as sometimes cold. Restaurant if you were half board was nice but got a bit limited as what to eat. Staff great (sorry never got names) Rooms nice and clean bed and pillows very comfortable. My only gripe about the hotel was the costs for air con (so hot it was a must) fridge safe deposit cost us about €130 before we got to room. Disappointed when speaking to other guests on last day that they got it free. Not sure how that worked? On the whole loved this holiday and will probably return

Stayed at Palmyra Hotel 24 June to 3 July. The hotel was as expected and more. Beautifully clean rooms with maid service everyday. The bathrooms were beautiful with double walk in shower. Yes they had glass walls onto the bedroom which was either frosted or had a curtain, this was not a problem. The staff in the hotel were lovely and the adjoining Palmyra bar was a great place for drinks and free shots at the end of the night. The pool was warm all the time, clean and well looked after and you could stay in it until about 9 pm if you want too. The weather was amazing. There was always plenty of sun beds around the pool whatever time you went and no mad rush for them. There was a charge for air con, safe and fridge which was a bit pricey but we knew about it before hand so not a problem. The strip of restaurants and bars were very good. Only one disappointing night and that was the Greek night at target. The venue was nice however the food was very poor and the Greek dancing was not as good as previous experienced elsewhere. We tried to experience as many different places as possible to eat and drink and from our experience Charlie Chaplins and syrtaki were the best. We booked a table at Chaplins to ensure we got a sea view which was outstanding. The Greek dancing at Syrtaki was a lovely touch. The food was very very good at both. All prices were roughly the same and not too expensive. We had many a cocktail at Notos cocktail bar (Tom Collins were very good) and Kiss did very good jugs of cocktails. Legends was a fab way to end your night with tribute acts and karaoke, the drinks were very good here too. We visited Peters Tours for a few trips. We went on the Sunset Cruise from Zante Town which was such a good experience. Three course meal and wine watching the sun go down was a memorable experience on a luxury yacht, very worthwhile. All in all a very good holiday in a lovely hotel. Just a pity it looks like Jet2 are not doing this hotel next year. We will have to look elsewhere.

Review collected in partnership with Jet2holidays
Due to a food allergy, I need to keep some food such as yogurt in the room’s minibar. When I got back to the hotel, the minibar was broken, leeken water all over the floor and I lost all my necessary food. I reached out to the manager and she was extremely rude, unpolite and clearly does not care about her customers’ experience and necessities. She told us it was not a hotel problem, that we should talk to expedia about it. Besides that, the room was poorly cleaned, dirty sheets left over, dirty cups, untidy beds, amongst others.

We are very very sorry you feel like that for our hotel and for our staff. The mini fringe in all our rooms is not for food, as it is a mini bar. That is why you thought that the mini fringe you had in the room doesn't work. You could put water or spirits and one-two yogurts. But you filled it with yogurts, cold cuts, cheese and generally food stuff. Usually our clients that have a food alergy and they need gluten-free or lactose-free foods, bring us what they want to eat and bringe them in our big fringe which is for foods. About the cleaning, we have a 7 days cleaning service. We change everyday the towels and every 3rd day the sheets and we clean the room every day and our housekeeper lady check every room after the made. So I do not thing that you had a dirty room as you mentioned. We have been in the tourism industry for over 25 years and we always try to offer the best we can to our customers. Sometimes the claims are unreasonable.
