We stayed for a week .. cam not really complain .. we had a superior room which was clean but basic.. had to pay extra to have air conditioning on 24/7 which you needed in 35 degree heat! Pools were lovely but although there were signs up about saving beds before 8 people took no notice. We are not early risers especially in holiday so ended up at the smaller pool which we did actually prefer .. the staff are amazing n nothing is too much .. a real credit to the hotel .. food was ok but got a little monotonous for the week were there and we ended up going out to zarbos down the road .. can not recommend enough .. over all had a lovely week thank you Diana Palace xx

1st visit to this hotel, the food was ok for adults but not for children, many families we spoke to had the same issues and were eating out to satisfy the family. The hotel was nice and clean, pools were nice but getting a sunbed was hard work. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to help out in any was possible. The room we stayed in was quite basic and the bathroom needed a serious overhaul, the bath had been painted which was flaking off under your feet, not very pleasant

Just returned from our 10 night stay and our second stay in this fabulous run hotel. I cannot express how great the service is here, nothing is too much trouble. From reception staff to the cleaning staff, not one negative comment to make. We booked direct through the hotel itself which has its perks, transfer to and from the airport, use of pool towels, free safe and air con use 24/7 which is much needed at this time of year. We were met at the airport by Ian who swiftly had us to the hotel, absolutely lovely guy. Ian is the go to man, whatever you want to know, which beach to visit, where to eat, trips, bus times……..etc. I have read some reviews where people have complained about the food here, well I really don’t know why they would, I don’t know what people expect and for 1-2 weeks out of the year, just stop complaining. I ate a lot of salad as it was too hot to eat anything else to be honest, but in my opinion there was plenty of choice and even the fussiest of eaters could find something, my daughter being just that. The staff amazing, enough said. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, one double and one twin which was perfect, each bedroom was spacious and had its own balcony, there was plenty of hanging space for clothes, the shower was great and we had a refrigerator and a kettle, what more do you need. The cleaning staff came daily and towels were changed every other day, perfect. There are daily activities should you want to partake and singers and quizzes etc on an evening but nothing specific for the children which is a shame as there isn’t much for them outside the hotel. Reception staff are very welcoming and again nothing is too much trouble. Bar staff, amazing, Marcos, just an absolute gent. Argassi is a small resort but has plenty of restaurants to choose from should you want to eat out, other than that there isn’t really much else besides a crazy golf course so maybe not ideal for families with young children who want more in the way of entertainment. If you want a peaceful, chilled out getaway this place is perfect.

Close to the busy town and its many restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff and food quite adequate although after a few days, we ventured out to enjoy the local cuisine. Always room around the pool for sunbeds which was good but some of the parasols were broken and in need of replacement A reasonably priced hotel with very few special features, some entertainment some evenings but the expression you get what you paid for comes to mind. Not somewhere we would return to, but we heard of many who do.

Excellent Hotel. The food is brilliant with different themes each night with plenty of choice from salads, meat, veg, pasta, cheeses etc. The puddings are to die for . The staff work extremely hard and willing to accommodate where possible. The pools were great, we preferred the big pool as there was a lot more going on. The smaller pool is more quiet so if you don’t want any entertainment then this is the pool for you . My husband was awake at 730-8 am and he always managed to get a sun bed. The hotel provide pool towels which are changed every other day. Both pools have pool bars available serving any kind of drinks and a cocktail of the day . The bigger pool also opens for snacks at 3 pm with a selection of sandwiches, salads and pizzas. The hotel rooms are pretty basic but clean and great for a base . They also have a hairdryer and soaps available. We hired a car to explore the island. Ian was brilliant! He arranged all of this and sent some places of interest with photos and Google maps direct to our mobile phones. This hotel is definitely not for small children who want a kids club etc. The entertainment was more towards the older generation however was modified for under 18s . This consisted of darts, aqua gym, football tennis, water polo etc . There is only one lady who is the animation team and she did a great job . The staff at this hotel really do go above and beyond. They are so welcoming and really take the time to go know you . Thank you for a wonderful stay and creating memories.

This was our forth visit to Zante and second stay at Diana Palace Hotel. On arrival the hotel reception staff were lovely and welcoming. We were shown to our room which was really nice. We booked a superior room and it was spacious and modern and spotlessly clean. The only downside to our room 223, in our opinion, was that the balcony was in direct sunlight from lunchtime until 8/9pm and therefore far too hot for us to sit out and enjoy a drink. The pool area is good but if you want a sunbed you need to be up at the crack of dawn. The hotel put signs out saying not to reserve beds before 8am or they will remove towels, but they don't ever remove towels and families were reserving 4 to 6 beds and then not using them until much later in the morning. The entertainment was average. The restaurant was good, but repetitive. They had theme nights but you couldn't really tell. it was always very similar and not particularly Greek which is a real shame as our last stay there the food was outstanding and the reason we booked again. If we come back it will be self catering and we would eat out as there are so many lovely restaurants to choose from. Special mention to Zenel - such a friendly cheerful guy. He would greet you at breakfast with a smile, then be buzzing around at lunch time smiling and then be serving drinks in the evening still smiling :)

We had a lovely 10 days at the Diana Palace. All of the staff are really friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom family room which was clean, comfortable beds. we paid for the aircon to be on permanently 8 euro's per night. local tax payable on arrival and we also paid 30 euros for a safe. The food was lovely, lots of choice, salads, meats and pasta. My daughter is a fussy eater and she always found something nice to eat. Again all the waiters are friendly. The bar staff were really good, Stathis remembered all of our names and we all had lovely chats with him. Everyone works so hard here. Marcos is so lovely and makes the best cocktails and is friendly. ( You have to pay extra for these) All inclusive drinks finish at 11pm. Ian is friendly and is on hand to book day trips. Special mention to Helen the entertainer who kept us busy with darts, aqua aerobics, football tennis, water polo, boules and beer pong and the odd quiz. We didnt go to the evening entertainment as we had made some friends and we had a few in the bar and went out for a few drinks. Sunbeds, at the start of our holiday i got up at 7.30am and there were plenty of beds free on the top pool, 3 days in and new arrivals came and they all got up way too early to reserve beds. so i ended up getting up early 6.45 to get a sunbed. The bottom pool always had free sunbeds and seemed quieter. It is so hot in July 37 degrees which is lovely but it is melting weather where going for afternoon walks is too hot. The evenings are so hot too so you won't need and jeans or trousers. The resort is nice with bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Crazy golf there are 2, we visited the one up the road. Beer Academy is great 4 games of pool for 3 euros and has sports tv's. Lovely sunsets on the beach with pools bars with free sunbeds as long as you buy a drink. We had a meal at Charlie Chaplin restaurant, very nice food would recommend. Taxi into Zante town was 10 euros or you can go on a land train or bus.

The hotel has changed a little and some of the great staff have left but they still have the best barmen on the island,. Stathis and Marcos are brilliant. The food was as expected and you will always find something to suit your palate. Entertainment could be improved but after Covid I was not surprised there were issues with changes due to booked acts catching the dreaded Covid. We were in 202 and it was very hot at night. The room was small so that maybe made it feel hot. Rules on booking sunbeds were not followed so after 8am you would be lucky to get a bed at the top pool, but you were Ok at the bottom pool. Overall the staff are brilliant in all areas and any issues they try very hard to resolve them. Look forward to returning in the future.
