Although the hotel is very small and simple, it was a really nice place to stay. The staff were really friendly and the hotel is right on the beach. The beach is very narrow but also very quiet. Really relaxing.
The hotel is on a road with plenty of bars and shops nearby.
It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with the option of a wild night if you want it!

Room was always clean- everyday new sheets, clean garbage cans and the staff was nice and quite.
Free sun-beiding chairs by the pool, and few by the beach.
Bus stops near the hotel.
And It's nice and quiet-no clubs near.

I've been to Chryssi Akti Hotel in Argassi last summer and didn't regret it. Nice and cheap hotel, just next to the beach (pretty small beach), clean rooms (few greek channels, nothing else, but who is watching TV in such a lovely country, when you have so much things to see). The rooms are basic, air conditiong present, nice view at the balcony, refrigerator, pretty big and clean bathroom. The hotel is situated at the and of the town, and that gives him more silence from the rest of the hotels. Anyway, the town is not so animated, which is a very good thing if you want to get more rest and less night-life. The hotel has a big pool, bar and snack bar at the pool, free sun-beds and wireless. I don't know about the hotel restaurant, I didn't eat there except breakfast, but I think it's ok. The Argassi town is situated next by the Zakynthos island capital, Zante, so you can go there very easy by bus or by taxi. In Argassi are so much places to eat wonderfull Greek food (their lamb is great), drink their good wine and seat at one of the many bars to drink a cold beer or a good cocktail.
So, if you want to spend a wonderfull and cheap vacation and enjoy the greek hospitality just go to Zakynthos and to Argassi's Chryssi Akti.

It left me a bitter taste.
It started 10 minutes after the check-in when the receptionist knocked on the door and asked us to pack and leave the room because we are not entitled to a sea view, although this was printed on the vouchers from the travel agency shown to the Reception. For another 40 minutes the receptionist came to our room every 5 minutes pressuring us to leave the room or pay an extra fee just for the sea view. She even put me on the phone with a woman who pretended to be the manager, but the manager rudely suggested me to either pay or leave the hotel. Ended up paying extra money and then chasing the receptionist for 3 days to get a receipt. After the first shower, the bathroom got flooded (1.5" of water stayed there for a whole week and despite of many claims to the Reception nobody fixed it). The breakfast at the hotel was poor and without any taste. I do not recommend this hotel.

Spent 2 weeks in late September 2022. The location is unique. Literally on the beach. And just outside the bustle of Argassi, so the neighbourhood felt quiet. Well, the noise from the traffic on the main road was at times a bit loud. The location on the eastern outskirts of Argassi gave a sence of peace and quiet while all the usual tourist trappings were within walking distance.
The staff is excellent. Kind and helpful and working hard every day to keep the place clean.
I wish I could go back like this every year, 2 weeks at the end of the season👌👌👌

We were at this hotel in our honeymoon, and it was outstanding. The rooms have been cleaning every day by a very kind staff. We loved the breakfast the donut was brilliant. We really enjoyed the private beach where the sea was crystal clear and warm. The receptionist and the manager was also very kind and always smiling. In summiraze, we strongly recommend this hotel for everyone. It was a dream holiday and honeymoon!

I was a guest of Chrissy Akti for one week and I was very impressed by this place. The staff was very polite and helpful. They kept our room clean and tidy every day! The location was excellent, close to the shops, restaurants, car and motorcycle rentals as well as tour agencies. Our room had a beautiful seaview. The breakfast was very good, too. Strongly recommend this hotel!

I was not there yet, I just wanted to make a reservation for this year's holiday.
As a formal matter, I asked for confirmation of accommodation with a dog; according to The Booking: "Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges."
I was very surprised by the information that if I booked through booking, maybe I would get permission,
....if I wasn't from Poland!!!
it is shocking that this hotel makes acceptance (or not) decision based on the requestor nationality.
