We went to the KP hotel in August 2019 (I had to select 2022 on the drop down) for 2 weeks, the first week myself and my husband went and then the 2nd week, our daughter and her boyfriend at the time joined us. It’s a beautiful hotel and the best accommodation we’ve had on any Greek Island & we’ve been travelling to Greece since 1995! Katerina is a lovely lady, so friendly and polite and you see her around the hotel all the time helping the staff out. All the staff are lovely, very friendly and polite, rooms were cleaned daily and spotless, the whole place was spotlessly clean. We stayed B&B and it was lovely, there’s a good mix of hot and cold food to choose from, there’s cereals, breads, you can make toast. There’s a variety of teas and a coffee machine, plus juice and water too. The towels were changed daily, the maid told us to leave them on the floor of the bathroom so she’d know to leave fresh ones. The rooms are lovely, the bed is large and comfortable, there’s a tv, tea & coffee making facilities & a small fridge, there is also a safe. The air con is remote control which is great for me as I can’t retain my temperature so I could turn it up and down easily overnight. The balcony is large enough, we were overlooking the smaller pool, it was lovely. The wardrobe is large and plenty big enough, which was great! The bathroom had a walk in shower and a great size, I need help as I’m disabled and it was plenty big enough. The hotel is fine for disabled or someone with reduced mobility & isn’t far from the tavernas at all, it’s in a great location. We had an amazing time and wanted to book for 2020 but for obvious reasons we couldn’t. Then in 2022, our first holiday abroad after Covid, it was fully booked so we were so upset. However we have booked for August 2023 and myself, husband & 2 adult daughters are really looking forward to it!! Any questions feel free to ask :)

Emailed 3 times asking for a high floor. When I checked in, she said yes was a high floor. They took us to another block. Our Room was on 2nd floor (un-refurbished room, which I thought the whole hotel had been refurbished, room was nothing look like anything on the website) she was adamant it was top floor, but it wasn't because I could clearly see a balcony above, when I sat at bar at night. I endured 7am musical chairs shifters, no respect at all. Now breakfast was chaos, such a small area, serving very limited food especially for the size of the hotel. Tables all very close to each other, was not a nice experience at all. All soft drinks were awful, didn't touch coffee. I did not see one person do any cleaning around the pools at all. The glass on top pool was filthy. Speaking of top pool we could not get a sunbed at all in the morning for the duration of our holiday & infuriates me when beds are reserved so early. Ended up going beach, paying £8 euros per day. We would then come back around 4pm & get a bed by the bottom pool for couple hours. You could see the dirt in bottom of this pool. Argassi, first time here, chose here for a change to Gran Canaria. Prices are like back home, so expensive. Argassi could be better it's a lovely place, ate some lovely food. We walked into Zante Town, upsetting to see so much rubbish, bottles, plastics strewn along the edge all the way along. I can't believe these are not being picked up & bins overflowing. Maybe the hotel tax you pay, should go towards sorting litter & getting the cats neutered, so many babies. I wanted to bring them home. Not much in Town, but worth a visit. Get the train opposite Legends Bar and every night loud music, tacky in my opinion & spoils Argassi and doesn't belong there. Places to eat, Zorbas (my favourite), Red Wine, Zinc & Ethnic On a final note, we had a good time, but after arriving home on Tuesday night 27th September, couple days later, me & my husband were ill, vomiting & diarrhoea & put it down to either food poisoning or something, not sure where from, we never ate at the hotel, apart from continental breakfast & that was not every morning. The last night Monday 26th we ate at Ethnics. Tuesday morning, light breakfast at hotel, then lunchtime we bought 2 chicken baguettes at Airport to take on the plane, but hard to say where this has stemmed from. This has put a damper on me ever returning to Greece again & will stick to Gran Canaria as I've never been ill from returning 5 years in a row.

All the staff were very friendly during our visit and made extra effort with the two babies we were there with. The room was modern and well equipped with a large shower room. Our balcony overlooked the mini golf course which was not very private. The only downside to our room was the kettle did not switch off after it had boiled so before we realised this the kettle had been on for 30 mins and was boiling hot! Breakfast was basic continental with different pastries and hot options each day. Queuing system for coffee/ toast didn't make sense as it was a free for all but if you got down when not too busy this wasn't a problem. There's 2 pools so ample places to sit during the day although like every hotel there's not many free sun beds past 9am so get down early if you want the sun. The pool bar serves a good selection of drinks and food for really reasonable prices, we ate there a few times and enjoyed all the food we tried. Greek night on Wednesday was a little disappointing after having gone to one previously. There wasn't much interaction and the dancers ended up starting a lot later than advertised. Location is very close to shops, bars and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk so you won't have to venture far to get essentials or dinner! Overall lovely stay for the price!

We have just reached the end of another wonderful holiday at Katerina Palace. Katerina and her staff work so hard to give every guest an amazing holiday experience. This hotel is clean and couldn’t be any friendlier, nothing is too much trouble, and the customer service is excellent. We have enjoyed it so much that we will be returning again in June. Thank you all, Sarah and Chris

On arrival we were taken to room 102. I had sent several requests for a top floor pool view room. Disappointed to find room 102 was below ground floor, dark and dismal. Shame really because it was a refurbed room. Immediately asked to be moved but had to wait three nights. We moved to second floor, right opposite crazy golf. (no pool view!) but better. Thanks to Elena receptionist. Continental breakfast was fine. Coffee machine very temperamental to say the least. Had to join the 'Save the sunbed brigade' to get a spot that wasn't in the shade until lunchtime. Pool cleaning.... Didn't see anyone doing it? . One day it was definitely green with algae stripe round the waterline. Next morning it had been appropriately treated and back to blue (but the algae stripe was still there) Went to several tavernas for dinner-we liked Zorbas & Dionysos & Zinc. Also on the corner near Katerina is a nice lunchtime cafe called 24/7 really pleasant waitress and food - especially club sandwiches lovely and big enough to share. Theres a small beach in Argassi but generally need the rock shoes to get past the Pebbles. Enjoy your holiday

This hotel was exceptional value, the rooms are a high Greek standard and the facilities very good. The staff are super warm and friendly and the location is ideal, The rooms are clean and fresh and modern and comfortable - a perfect base for enjoying Argassi. The breakfast is typical Greek, its not an AI buffet I am not sure what people are expecting for the money? It's perfectly fine and nice for a coffee and toast or cereal outside in the sunshine . The main pool did sometimes look a little murky? that would be my only slight negative but wouldn't stop me going back! Thank you Katerina for a lovely holiday!

When we arrived was very disappointed with view from the room was trees onto the crazy golf which was noisy do wouldn't sit on the balcony. Room was very clean but the pool area the pool was green around the edges dud not see anyone clean this so very reluctant to go in. Breakfast we couldn't eat it the small amount of hot stuff you could not eat was freezing cold so could not eat this was inedible so had breakfast out all the time this put us off the hotel. Only earl grey tea bags. And tea machine bust. The outside area needs a good clean the glass around the pool was so dirty not nice to see.

First of all I must say this is not our typical type of resort with no real beach front or promenade. After getting that out the way if your looking for a beautiful very well kept super clean hotel in argassi then this is the place for you. This Hotel is well placed to the main strip and very central to all shops and restaurants. Lovely pool and bar areas, breakfast is included and a very good selection. Some reviews I have seen regarding the breakfast were a little negative but we found it very good. A selection of your usual eggs bacon sausage’s etc, Various breads and rolls, Ham and cheese, cereals, fresh fruit and even cake what more could you ask for. Super super impressed with the cleaning throughout the whole hotel. Resort for us is a 7/10. Hotel is an easy 10/10 for what we paid. Well done Katerina Palace, wish we could pack you up and take you with us on our next holiday 😊
