Friendly staff they work very hard, food was ok always something we liked could of been slightly warmer, and could of been labelled but it was on a menu board half way down the serving area it was in English, lots of different nationalities but not a problem, no rush for sun beds and plenty of umbrellas we were there from 3rd June to the 15th and always got one no matter what time we were there, walked to the beach bar but preferred to stay by pool, Saturday night they had a singer she was very good and all songs in english most of the entertainment was at the admiral, finishing with a disco we walked to the captains what a view from the restaurant you can eat there too, our room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable air conditioning was free and worked well, tv didn’t have many channels but we don’t watch it apart from the news, on a slight hill the other two hotels are further up the hill, it’s very central to the town which has plenty of bars restaurants crazy golf and shops, all areas were cleaned daily but unfortunately some people leave all there cups and rubbish behind even though there are lots of bins, you help yourself to soft drinks so saves having to queue, for the price we paid we were happy and also ate out which was reasonably cheap everywhere

As Jet2 had this hotel you'd have to think they were expecting there might be some English visitors this summer. The events list was in Polish and the entertainment we heard wasn't English either. Room was clean and comfortable, public areas were also kept well. Reception toilets were rather smelly but with so many people coming in from the pool wet it was no surprise. The pool toilets seemed to get much less use and were better aired so I used them instead. Hotel was a nice stroll from the main Street, with such lovely people and great food so close it would be a shame to stay in the hotel all the time. We went to the hotel beach area once, only drinks on offer were bottled pop so we moved to one of the other beach bars just along with a pool and lovely sun loungers and food. Food ranged from plain to awful for the first few days but after June 1st the evening meals improved quite a bit with the chef greeting diners and explaining the dishes on offer. Labels on the food would have been nice though. Also worth trying the Captain's for food their dining area is much nicer and has a great view. The Receptionist was lovely, a real credit to the hotel. Most of the other staff were helpful but looked unhappy, only person that let the staff down was someone we presumed to be the manager, hung around doing nothing but stare accusingly at Customers. Read the reviews so we knew what to expect, we always intended to use it as B&B as it was so cheap. This is what we did and it didn't ruin our holiday.

In a few words they don't cater for English people. The food is not la elled. They have not got an allergens notice which is law. So you do not know if it is good for you. Hole in our room wall leading to next room to us in room 204. Window broken in 204. Air con not working had to report it and never got fixed while a week later. The tax you pay was put in the guy who served us pocket so always aske for a receipt. It is on a very steep hill and is hard even for me as I have a disability. All I can say is get ready to see me on watchdog because this is not a good hotel. The lead for kettle was not long enough. We had to eat out every night be ause the food was that bad. One star and they are lucky to get that

Very clean, rooms ok but no third bed.Balcony view to sea , beautiful.Clientele mainly Russian and eastern European which think reflected the food as it was awful. Not a wide range and ended up on salads or eating out , when we paid all inclusive.

Review collected in partnership with Jet2holidays
We arrived at hlf 9 at night not knowing which of the 3 hotels of the complex we were staying. So our transfer driver was great and waited while we popped into the commodore. They told us we were stopping at the captains (thank goodness I thought as the first hotel the admiral that we had passed was so loud music blaring out) so the driver dropped us at the captains n off he went. We had been there abt 5 mins when we were informed we were actually at the admiral. (The noisy one-my heart sank) so the manager gave us a lift back down to the other hotel. We checked in with a very unfriendly reception guy- this proved to be the same for all the other staff. I found this very odd as I have visited lots of Greek islands n the Greeks are normally so so friendly. We got to the room n it was very basic. But clean. We were all inc the breakfast is geared towards the polish so we found Little snack bar by the sea that we visited daily for breakfast. Lunch was nice. Fresh salad every day. Evening meal was very repetitive n we like Greek food when in Greece so again we went out. The pool area was lovely in the day. N it’s in a good location but I wouldn’t go back.
