Really lovely hotel in great location, extremely friendly staff and very very clean. Comfy, modern rooms. Would go back! Booked through Jet2 and I think this determines what kind of room you are allocated, but they were accommodating when we requested one not on the ground floor.

Me & my husband decided we would visit Greece for the 1st time an chose to stay at papillion hotel we was not disappointed this place was a great stay from our first step through the reception to leaving every member of staff was amazing.
Rooms where fine only downfall was storage hubby had to leave alot of his stuff in suitcase. Beds are comfy but extra pillow would be nice.
Pool and loungers was enough to go around poolbar was great little place for a snack an a great little team will definitely walk away with a smile on your face they are the best.
Location is central to bars restaurants an to micheals travel but you don't hear the hassle an bustle on a night when sleeping. Lots of great little places around here with the papillion you will not be disappointed.

Papillon Hotel was great for my wife and I. We enjoyed every moment. From arrival to leaving, each and every member of staff tried their best to make your holiday Special . As always with every hotel the Papillon Hotel had its Pros and Cons. Con,s We found that for 2 x people, the storage is very limited, not enough wardrobe space, or shelving to accommodate anything. All that was required, was an extra shelf in the shower unit, an extra set of Draws in the main room with extra surfaces to place things on. We found out that the Balcony was brilliant in the morning, BUT after the sun moved around in the afternoon and was facing the balcony, this became more or less unbearable.
Pro,s Where can I start ?? , the hotel was very well maintained, from the Reception area, landscaping, Gardens ,all looking very nice and pleasant, with clean and tidy rooms all brilliantly cleaned, by very cheerful cleaning Ladies that always had a smile and a laugh everytime we met them. The Poolside area was always very clean with great staff during the day. A well stocked bar was always in use up until midnight. Andreas, the barman was brilliantly each and every night we called in, for the Last Drinks of the night, cheers Andrea's, Breakfast always had a good selection to please most if not all. The Location of the Papillon was excellent, and right in a Central position for all the many Restaurants and bars, what more can you ask for.

Overall great hotel - pool area very good and never struggling for a sun lounger no matter what time of day! Obviously some people still feel the need to put their towels out early!!
My only complaints: the room shower - shower head was coming apart, very weak and became weaker at certain times of day, most noticeably around 6pm when I assume more people are showering. The extra cost of air-con: fair enough if well communicated prior to booking/checking-in however we thought ours was broken so went to the reception to be told we have to pay £70 for the week. Like I said - this is fine but needs more advertising. Breakfast is very limited: not much variety but fine for the cost of the hotel.
Overall very much enjoyed our stay. For the price we paid everything was fine - highlights definitely pool area and terrace connected to our room. Quiet hotel very very well located. Couldn’t be in a better location.

If you had let us know that the shower head was broken, we would have changed it, of course. Unfortunately, the water supply is sometimes weaker due to high demand in such a busy tourist area. We are aware of it, and we are trying our best. All guests who book with us via travel agencies are informed about the extra cost of A/C from their travel agents and documents. Just returned after a week staying at this fantastic hotel. It is slap bang in the centre of Argassi with the bars and tavernas within , however you don't hear the noise from the bars on the main strip. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, pay for the air con, its a must, with daytime temperatures nudging 100oc. Only negative is the lack of storage, with just a single wardrobe available, but don't let this put you off. We had a pool view room, however due to the heat was uncomfortable in the late afternoon to sit on there. Sun beds are always available. All the staff are friendly and courteous from the receptionists to Dennis and the other staff who work in the bar and breakfast service, and the maids who cleaned are room daily Stayed on a B&B basis, found the breakfasts ok (but don't expect English sausages or back bacon), but plenty of choice. Will definitely look at returning in the future

This was my 3rd time staying here and I have to say what a wonderful place it is. This is a 3 star rated hotel but this time it felt more luxurious. The quality of the accommodation always exceeds my expectations and the enhancements made to the bar and restaurant area, in my opinion, are exceptional. The site is spotless and rooms are cleaned daily. My daughter and I enjoyed frequent daily dips in the pool and lounged comfortably on the loungers provided including parasols to provide welcome shade during the hottest time of the day. This is a family run hotel with lovely staff who aim to make your holiday the best it can be. The central location is also fantastic opening you up to all that Agassi has to offer. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Agassi.

I came to Zante from Slovenia full of expectations. When I entered Hotel Papilon in Argassi, began my best vacation in a lifetime! Employees are very kind, after two weeks we became like best friends! Everything is very clean, and breakfast is one of the top ones.
I must not forget pool :) and bar :) where I was at first sceptical about drinks. But I tried one coctail, ask bartender about the name of that one. Top rated and very fresh! I will only disclose second word-Martini.
This hotel also takes care about safety of clients. It has personal employee who take care about whole night security. I can assure you, that you will sleep very good :)
Hotel Papilon also has private free place for guests that rent motorbikes. One good news-motorbikes are all the time under camera :)

We've stayed in Argassi many times but this was our first visit to Papillon hotel. It is a truly lovely hotel and I'd recommend it. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool and i have to say the spec of the room here is the best we've ever had in Argassi. They've clearly been updated. The bathroom is fabulous with a walk in shower and the beds are soooo comfortable. Kept exceptionally clean too.
Breakfast was varied and a good start to the day choices of fruit, cooked items, cereal, pastries... so plenty of choice. The breakfast staff were very friendly. Pool is big so plenty of room for everyone. Sunbeds...even in July there was no rush! Sunbeds available for use throughout the day. There was never a day when you couldn't get a bed whatever time you wanted it. My only negative comment (minor!) is we were only allowed one room key card, apparently this is hotel policy. I've not come across that before and it was a bit inconvenient for those that do their own thing occasionally. I didnt like to knock loudly to get in my room and disturb other guests. Like i say though its a minor point and im not sure of the rationale behind it.
Fab location but everywhere is in Argassi. There was no noise even though youre central. The guy on reception (Nick?) is very helpful too! So in brief, fantastic hotel and we will definitely stay again.

We normally try stay in apartments on holidays but following the reviews we booked a two bedroom room here and we're so glad we did. For us the hotel is faultless. All the staff are really friendly, the pool area is immaculate and the rooms are fantastic. Ours was overlooking the pool and it was very modern and spotlessly clean. The aircon is great, there's a bit of a kitchen and plenty of open storage. The only thing to bear in mind is that there are no doors on the bedrooms, so just make sure you're comfortable with who you go with! There's a pool bar with a good selection of food and drinks.. The pool itself is massive and up to 12ft deep. It's just set back near the centre of Argassi within walking distance of every bar, cafe and restaurant. Zante town is about 50 mins walk away but be careful because someparts are without a footpath. If you're a walker take a trip up the monastery viewpoint, about 5 miles if you follow the track, well worth it. We would definitely stay here again, we'll done to all the staff and management!
