Diving is amazing with scuba crew diveshop which is the partner of the resort. Resort has a new boat which is the biggest diving boat that can bring lots of divers. It has more rooms now with own bath and toilet inside the rooms. Staff will clean up the rooms everyday, and you dont need to tell them. The restaurant is...

Beautiful mansion on the waters edge facing Apo Island. great reef Snorkelling 200 meters to the right. Good swimming immediately in front and well shaded beachfront. But unfortunately the whole place was filthy. The bathrooms mostly shared were tired with years of grime. The food aside from the Pizza was abysmal. With a lot of care and updating of equipment this could...

Please be aware that I am a seasoned traveller having visited more than 60 countries. I have never rated a hotel one star before, and it barely makes that. There are always people who are dissatisfied but I am not usually one, having travelled extensively in the third world, expecting therefore different standards than the first world. This place was...

Looked good from the outside but sadly, the facade was the best part about this place. The entrance is way too narrow getting a sedan through the gates is a bit tricky. None of the rooms had a private bathroom so all guests shared the 2 bathrooms, one of which looked dark & scary so I didn't use it. No...

This place could be great, the resort is an older mansion with spacious rooms with high ceilings. It was called "rundown" in 2013. And it is probably even more so. Paintwork needs to be redone, shared bathrooms are not good, the free breakfast included is below Motel 6 standards, for a real Filipino breakfast you pay 150 pesos. a lot...

I stayed in this hotel with two of my friends and was pleasantly surprised! It's right on the beach overlooking Apo Island. It is a big, gorgeous, old house that has been converted to a hotel. Our room was a reasonable size with high ceilings and an extremely comfortable bed. Airconditioning was cold and the room led out onto a...

Stayed here on the recommendation of friends. Place used to be private home and would have been incredible in its prime. The conversion to a hotel is not as could as it could be. Having to share bathrooms with other guests is not good especially when the bathrooms are rundown and dirty. I had to ask for the bathroom that...

We decided to stay at this hotel as it is advertised as being built in 2012 so everything would be modern and working. We think it actually reopened in 2012 after being closed for 20 years. Our bedroom had six spot lights with only three working and these were pointed at the walls - baffling. Impossible to read or use...

One evening I texted the owner if she had two rooms available for 3 nights, being her two best ones, breakfast included. Sure, no problem. Discount, no problem either ... The next day we left and were a long time on the road. When I was getting nearer to Dumaguete, I texted her again, could she pick us up. Sure,...
