The Hidden Forest Retreat is in Middle Sichey, Gangtok, and a short taxi ride from Mahatma Gandhi Marg (‘downtown’ area). It is a homestay, but much more. The room was spacious and clean, with its own private balcony and the sit-out offered a lovely view of the valley and beyond. The place is full of fruit and flower trees and... More

Well, lets just accept it. We got off and there were two cleaners who proactively came running to grab our bags.... More

Beautifully landscaped resort. Its a family run establishment and they are very friendly and extremely helpful. It's a little away from the market area but the resort is beautiful neat and well kept. Food is cooked by the family themselves n they offer u a lot of options. All in all a great place

This place is amazing in that the property makes you think you are further away from the city than you really are. The grounds are exquisitely landscaped with flowers and exotic plants. It is more like a well curated botanical garden than a hotel ground. Buildings are separated into little bungalows, and each has a stellar view of the mountains... More
