Granada Park Apartments come highly recommended for their friendly service and commendable cleanliness, as staff ensure both rooms and public spaces are well-kept. The tranquil atmosphere, with spacious rooms and private balconies, adds to the appeal, although some guests suggest an update to the decor and amenities could enhance the experience. While the location is deemed less convenient, requiring a significant walk to local attractions, many guests feel the overall value is good, citing affordable transportation and nearby economical shopping options.

The weather in the evenings in January and February are not warm enough to expect guests to sit outside for entertainment, but we had to, as they don’t have a covered area, nor a decent stage for the performers.
The noise from the people there continues past midnight despite the bar closing at 11pm. Notices in our rooms say to keep quiet after 11pm, but it echoes around every guests’ rooms for too long. So, doors and windows had to be closed for a good sleep after 11pm, and the cleaners start around the pool before dawn, making a little motoring noise too.
The restaurant needs new and nicer tables and chairs, and really should be incorporated into a better space than a roof with roll up sidewalls.
Apart from that we were delighted with the apartment, balcony and sunsets during our 3 week stay. I’d prefer to be closer to the beach, but the courtesy coach was sufficient

A group of 5 came here for a girls weekend away from the uk. We arrived early evening on friday night and were welcomed by the receptionist who was very friendly, gave us all inclusive wrist bands and a free key for the safe. We were offered either 2 rooms or a large apartment for all 5 of us which sounded great so we went for that.
It took a while to find our apartment, going up and down the lifts as the building all looks the same. The apartment was basic, with 2 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge area, a kitchen and a large balcony. In the lounge there was a pull out bed for the 5th person. There was plenty of space for us and lots of storage for our things.
The balcony was a really good size and looked over the pool and bar area. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of utensils and cookware but it was a shame there was no kettle which would have been really helpful, we spoke to reception who explained that it is 25 euros to get a kettle in your room and you get 15 euros returned when you take it back.
The entertainment was basic but more than bearable with kareoke one night and performances the next two nights (we only saw one performance) The bar and restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful. Food again was basic, lots on offer, plenty of salad and bread, chips available every night. Lots of meat options but as a vegetarian there wasn't much to choose from other than salad which did get boring towards the end. The meat eaters however were a little better off. The restaurant was clean and there was water, juice, coffee and wine available to help yourself.
There are plenty of sun loungers and we didn't have to get up early to get one - although the weather wasn't boiling so maybe different on a hot day. The pool and the area is really clean and there were staff up cleaning it very early in the morning every day. There is a shop onsite for bits and pieces also.
There isnt anything going on in walking distance to this hotel and a taxi or bus to go out anywhere. The beach is quite a walk also but it is literally just hotels around the area.
On one night we went down to the safari shopping centre and the bars in the area which was a great night out. The drinks were fairly priced and there was great music going on and everyone had a really good time. There were some sellers out but most were friendly and happy to chat with us.
Overall we had a really good weekend, the hotel was good for what we needed.

We are here at Granada Park enjoying our holiday we are to be fair lucky to be here !
Unprecedented times we all know but a lot of us still need and look forward to our annual break for some the only break their going to get for the year .
In response to some of the very negative reviews I felt I had to reply because it certainly didn't reflect the views and opinions of myself and others that are also here.
I have travelled the world I've been and seen the best and some of the worst places !
Drinking Singapore Slings in Raffles to sleeping on luggage racks on train in India.
The opulence of a Palace in Rajasthan to the backstreets of Delhi.
My father worked hard to put food on the table and I've always appreciated that .
There's been some comments that are untrue and unjustified and certainly not fair to all the hard work and effort that is given by the staff and hotel in these troubled times.
A comment specifically to the pool ? We are traditionally early risers we see the pool cleaned and tested everyday.
I would take my grandchildren to swim in there with no reservations as have a lot of people!.
These scaremongering comments are not constructive and have no basis to have any value to them.
The canteen as its popularly known as had its problems buts it has addressed them to a certain degree and is a pleasant and nice place to eat.
Please remember the cost of your holiday ! How much actually goes to the hotel to pay for everything that you eat drink sleep over the time that you stay there.
Remember the hardworking and dedication of all the staff who bring this to you and remember that without the Granada Parks in 20 years you won't be able to travel to these places unless you're affluent enough to fly !
Please just set reasonable expectations and enjoy you're time here the staff work hard just to so that you can !

PS THIS IS OUR 4TH TIMR HERE .

Room.
Our room was S306 which was in the basement! It was dark, dingy and cold. You could see the pool if you stood on a chair.
The bed sheets and towels were a dirty grey colour with awful pillows which resembled concrete blocks,
The toilet flush was broken and the shower pretty pathetic with no pressure whatsoever.

Food & Drink:
The drinks were the worst AI drinks we have ever had.
Paint stripper vodka and "Giant" NOT "Pepsi" cola. Tasted like soda siphon muck you drank as a kid,
Breakfast was passable when the scrambled eggs weren't running around the plate,
Dinner was always the same. Griddled Pork, Chicken, Fish and occasionally Lamb. Which, incidentally were cooked on the same griddle plate,
There were chips, potatoes and salad with two type of cheese (yellow and orange) which didn't taste of anything,
We ate out most of the time,
The chair cushions and table mats were filthy, quite often from previous occupants of the table which was never wiped after they left
Only one out of the two coffee/tea machines were ever working.
If the hotel was ever full you would have a very hard time finding a table that was free,
The snacks served at the bar between meal times were frankly insulting. Who wants chicken nuggets and chips? There weren't even any kids there at the time.

Pool Area:
Sunbeds and parasols aplenty but they have seen better days,
The pool was Baltic (Jan/Feb) even though it is supposedly heated.

Staff:
Mostly lovely apart from one, incredibly rude bar tender. I won't even go into that issue. Never, ever seen that happen before,

Location:
Ideal if you plan on staying onsite and never moving, but, if like us, you want to escape the humdrum and visit some shops/bars then it's a 30 minutes (at least) walk downhill or 6 euros in a taxi,
It's around a mile and a half from either Los Christianos or Las Americas.

To sum up, we won't be coming back.

Went for a week for my daughters birthday, two pools that are supposed to be heated, but now they aren't speaking to residents here they say they used to be heated and food was great, but now nothing is looked after, waterfall turned off and all rusty, never seen the pools be cleaned they have a flag system to show when a lifeguard is on duty it was green all day and the lifeguard was often in the restaurant or in the bar that is well out of sight of the pool. Food was always the same, cold chips every day. And cold pasta, a guest pointed out a hair in a food tray and the staff pulled the hair out and just put the lid back over. Our daughter ate pasta and cheese one night along with other guests and the next day there was 9 guests we know of throwing up all day, our daughter couldn't even keep water down or calpol. Never again. Hotel advertised as Las Americas on tui!! But this is not true. Also advertised with siam park and siam park was a 30minute taxi ride away or a 55minute walk. Nothing around the resort, took us 1hour to get to the beach. Hotel guest was mugged right outside our hotel. Staff were rude and unhelpful. For the price you pay you could get a much better resort and hotel. All inclusive does not start until 10am so after breakfast at 8am there is nothing open to get a hot or cold drink not even the shop. All inclusive finishes at 11pm and everything immediately closes, so you can't even buy a drink or sit listening to music, everything closes all lights off.

I am not too sure where to start with this one. The rooms were filthy and are pretty much never cleaned to any standard. The cleaner came around every three days which was not helpful when they expect you to use the same towel for three days in a row and leave you short with toilet roll.

You need to wear some sort of footwear in the rooms as if you walk around without sliders on your feet will go black just walking to the toilet and back.

Our room seemed to have what looks like earwigs in every picture. The shower was beyond filthy. I would expect that level of grime in a hostel somewhere in South East Asia. The beds are rock hard with piss stained mattresses, we had to move rooms three time and experienced piss stained on each mattress / sheets.

The arm rail in the toilet was hanging off. I feel bad for anyone who actually needs to use the thing because its likely to come off the wall and take the tiles with it.

The poolside needs work doing to it as all the paint is peeling from the poole, there is cracked and loose / lifted tiles everywhere which is a trip hazard.

Forget about watching TV in the room just bring a laptop or iPad to watch moves or TV. Just ensure you can teather from your phone as the hotel charges for using their WIFI.

The food isn't great by any means unless you like to eat very below standard processed food / reheated food with some chips. We found that we ate out every night which cost us nearly as much as our holiday alone. I'd check if the meat is cooked as I was served raw chicken one night. Great experience that was.

Be prepared to get taxis everywhere unless you like walking which to be honest they are quite cheap so we just got a taxi everywhere which was handy.

To sum it up book this hotel if you want to be around a bunch of chavs smoking weed in the complex. We had some neighbours who were racist to other guests where by they were shouting "Aluackbar", "I have a bomb" & "Pa*I"from the balcony.

The entertainment is not for me but others seemed to like it. (If I hear sweet Caroline) one more time I think I am going to just walk off a cliff.

Entertainment is always doing something and they do try but it's dreadful.

All inclusive drinks are their own brand drinks which are good but expect to pay if you want anything aside from their set menu.

Overall, it's a terrible place to stay, it's dirty, the food is dreadful, it's the same stuff on repeat & full of a bunch of chavs.

My wife and I, together with another couple recently had an amazing holiday through Jet2 Holidays.

In early March (9th) we arrived for a 10 day holiday in Granada Park Resort. Half Board was excellent - food was varied and good quality with lots of choice every day.

The resort was very clean, the swimming pool was excellent and the apartments were very tidy and spacious with decent sized terraces facing the pool. If there was anything that I could mark down it would be the lack of air conditioning, albeit there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. We could have rented a portable a/c unit and this would have been necessary later in the season. However I guess for a 3 star resort we couldn’t complain really.

On the 15th we were told we were on lockdown because of Spain’s Corona Virus issues but the manageress immediately came out of her office and without us even asking, she announced that everyone on half board would be upgraded to full board at no extra cost. In fact we were allowed All Inclusive Access! And the quality and wide food choice remained as good as ever.

Staff gave us sunbeds on our verandah terraces.
I can’t speak highly enough of the professionalism, kindness and friendliness of all staff - management, cleaning staff, waiters & waitresses and even the chefs came out to chat.

Cleanliness was top class.

No one was kicked out their rooms on day of leaving - they fully empathised with our situation, despite the fact that they were about to close down the resort 2 days after we left.

I’m looking forward to repaying their kindness by returning some day soon. Thank you, everyone at the Granada Park Resort in Tenerife!

This hotel is huge. entertainment is great food is not bad but not great, not much selection on drinks in the hotel. Flea infested cats and kittens also roam the restaurant sitting at peoples feet begging for food

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere and 30 min walk to the heart of the Americas and 20 min walk into Los Cristianos (think I spelt that right) taxis to and from places are a must

The rooms are old and outdated, broken furniture beds are hard as stone and one pillow is not enough came home with a stiff neck. And balcony doors and kitchen windows DO NOT LOCK and balcony’s and room are easy to be accessed by simply hoping over stupidly low railings

Air conditioning in the room there is not any just a fan that spins about 3mph and sound like it’s got loose parts inside squeezing all night not worth the money and being unless it’s a short stay as food is repetitive and entertainment is too we stay for 10 days and we’re sick by the 5th.

Just back after 7 nights in Tenerife. 2 adults and 1 child all inclusive.

The place is tired and in desperate need of a major revamp. The rooms are never cleaned properly, we were there for 4 days before we moved to different accommodation and the floor was never mopped and we found mould on my husband's pillowcase just to mention a few.

If you want to sleep before 11pm forget it as the entertainment sound travels all around the complex and forget sleeping in the next morning as the cleaners start cleaning the outdoor area at 7am with industrial machines.

The paint on the bottom of the pool is peeling off, there was a scum line around the edge of the pool too. The sun loungers need a good clean as they're filthy and there's about 6 parasols in use so forget having any shade unless you're up with the birds to reserve one. There's broken and raised tiles everywhere too which is a trip hazard.

The dining area is awful with cheap plastic tables and chairs, the food is rubbish, even the fresh cook station is poor only serving chicken breasts, pork chops and fish EVERY night.

The AI soft drinks are cheap cola, lemonade etc and the AI cocktails are from a premixed drinks machine. There's not enough seating in the entertainment area at night so people have to take chairs out of the dining area or sit on walls.

It's a good 15 minutes walk to a little shopping complex and another good 15 minutes to the beach and then all uphill coming back. If you like to walk a lot, it's ok but otherwise you need to get taxis as there's nothing in the immediate area around the complex.

There were also some Spanish youths stopping/visiting the complex who walked around like they owned the place smoking weed everywhere.

Like I said book somewhere else, we booked and paid for alternative accommodation after 4 days so we could enjoy the last half of our holiday.

Read the reviews over the last couple of months all the bad points people are making are true. Jet2 really need to take this place off their bookings until it's sorted.

We have just gotten home after an amazing holiday at Granada Park. We became sceptical and worried after reading some of the reviews however these were soon proven wrong.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the cleaner came every day and was always really friendly, non of our belongings were ever moved out of place. We stayed in the one bedroom promotional apartment supplied by Jet2. This room was equipped with a large kitchen, bathroom and living room as-well as two balconies overlooking the pool. Despite the room not having air conditioning the temperature was not an issue and we slept comfortably with the ceiling fan on every night. (The beds in this room were also very comfy.)

The staff were all extremely pleasant with us and always happy to help. Ricardo (the entertainment man) was always very lively and friendly, he was always making sure everyone was involved in the activities and that everyone had a good time.

We enjoyed the food every day despite the poor reviews. Different soups/pastas etc every day ensured the food did not get repetitive and the fresh meats and fish were always lovely.

The pool area was not short of sun loungers, we never struggled for a bed as their was multiple stacks of spares dotted around the pool. The hotel has two large pools and one children's pool. One of the large pools is salt water however this was not an issue as it had been diluted with fresh water so was still very pleasant.

The location is not an issue as there’s always plenty of taxis at taxi point next to the hotel and reception will happily call you one. The town (Los Cristianos) is very nearby and a taxi for around 6 euros will take you to the beach / restaurants.

With all said, we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend.

Yes there is a small pool bar you can order food from but we couldn’t find a restaurant at the hotel. The food was ok and good choice but just very plain and basic
