We arrived in the early hours of the morning (not ideal) but had warned the hotel in advance. We found ourselves lurking outside a closed reception for at least 40 mins- 1 hour being able to locate no one. We thought at one point that we may have to sleep outside! Thankfully a couple arrived in a taxi after a night out and was able to locate a member of staff for us. The accommodation itself, is adequate- Everything you need for a self accommodating break away. Kettle, toaster, fridge and cooker hob provided. Beds comfortable enough. Towels changed 3 times over the duration of a weeks break. The pool area was a particular bone of contention for us. The pool guard seemed to have little to no control over poor behaviours in the pool. A group of young boys (I’d say 13 years old) taking over more than half of the pool lobbing 3 large balls between themselves and then dive bombing with no consideration for anyone else in the pool. Because of this, we decided to avoid the pool and trundled down to the beach, which is about a 15-20 min walk down hill. Los Cristianos is a lovely area with lots of lovely restaurants. The beach itself is really nice. All in all a good break but not sure we would return to this particular hotel!

I thought this accommodation was perfect near enough. Nice staff, helpful, relaxing, laid back. In a quiet area of Los Cristianos outside the main area but only a short walk away. Went in March so nice and sunny and warm but not too hot to think about air conditioning. However from April to September might be a bit tricky as temperatures higher. You have all you need for a self catering holiday. Kitchen has electric hob, microwave, fridge, toaster. Have cutlery supplied but cups and bowls too small. If you’re fussy about a mug of nice coffee or tea in the morning, bring your own. Clean towels changed every other day, fan in bedroom and kitchen. Room cleaned every day. Supermarkets nearby. You need to pack towels for the pool/beach or you can hire a towel for 1 euro per day with a 10 euro deposit. Would definitely stay here again. Hope this review helps.

I'm not one for writing reviews but in this case I feel I should give an update on room C407 (bedbug infestation) My husband and I were allocated this room on 9th March 2024 and I was less than happy but didn't say anything to the hotel staff until we'd seen the room for ourselves. The first thing I did was check the bed - it looked like a brand new mattress and topper and absolutely no sign of any bedbugs - the apartment was spotless and it's huge. Room is cleaned 5 days a week, bedding changed twice a week and towels changed 3 times - overall we have absolutely no complaints and would return again - hopefully this reassures others who are due to visit.

Cannot find any faults with our stay here,it was brilliant. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the cleaner called every day.Had all the basics you need for a self catering stay. There was a lovely terrace with table and chairs and washing line. The pool area was lovely and well maintained, with activities on most days. There was also comfortable seating areas around the front of the hotel. The pool bar and shop were great for snacks and drinks. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here.

Between 23rd February and 1st of March 2024 we have been staying at the hotel Coral Los Alisios, Carretera Vieja a Guaza, 38627 Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain in room C407. My wife developed progressive bites from bedbugs due to the infestation with bedbugs in our room. I enclose pictures of the insects – bedbugs. Also, I attach pictures with the lesions that my wife suffered. Please take measures, it seems that many other tourists had the same complaint, and the hotel did not take complete action to solve this problem. We spoke with Ana Alonso the receptionist and she treated us like we were inventing this problem. The manager Joao Dunker refused to speak with us pretending to be outside the hotel. Another member of the staff Jose Guzman received our written complaint on 01.03.2024 at 12:40 and agreed to send it to the hotel management. At 15:00 another member of the staff Jesus Canelon agreed before our departure to the airport that he will speak to the manager about the reimbursement of our hotel stay because we had to throw away our belongings in order to prevent infestation of our home. We also informed the local tourism company iTravex about these facts and our tourism company from Romania. All our experience and these problems were also brought to the attention of Healthcare Ministry of Spain, Government of Canary Islands and we will continue being in contact with the authorities till these problems are solved. In these 48 hours the Hotel Coral Los Alisios did not find time to answer our previous email.

We arrived about 9pm, checked in nice and fast and, after a quick swill, we were out and about. We were allocated B4, a ground floor pool facing room, large lounge, separate bedroom, with a nice kitchenette to the side and a spacious bathroom next to that. Bathroom door was severely splintered at the bottom, probably due to the bathroom being wetter than normal as there wasnt an extractor fan, this meant when opening it it made a scraping noise, not a problem for the daytime but on a night we had to go through the kitchen side as the door noise would wake up my wife..... No aircon, but they do have a couple of ceiling fans and they helped out in the warmer weather Place was clean and basic, but then what more do you need? Rooms cleaned daily, towels changed daily too There is shower gel/bodywash provided on the shower wall if you forget your stuff Pool area was fairly quiet until about 11am, then it got mildly busy, we were lucky enough to have good wqeather so it was probably busier than normal. We like this hotel, this was our third visit Its a fair 15-20 minute walk from the beach area but has nice bars and eateries all along the route, theres a hill to walk up to this hotel but its not too bad, even when your staggering back after a hefty night out. Staff are nice and friendly too We will be back for definite

Very helpful staff. Room was a great size and kept very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. We had a pool view balcony with a double clothes line so drying clothes was never a problem as the balcony was something of a sun trap. Table and 4 chairs on the balcony which great for relaxing with a cold drink, or two. Had extensive self catering facilities althouhg we usually ate out. Very good takeaway pizza place across the road and so many good eating choices nearby. Never a problem getting a sun lounger near the pool. Gym with enough equipment to fill an hour every morning. Good location although folk with mobility issues may have problems. A great stay and I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. Big thanks to all the staff.

Lovely place, very clean, nice staff can stay by pool or sun bathe round by splash area which can be quite. On site cafe and shop felt safe. Slightly up a hill but lots of restaurants and some shops nearby, one of the best pizzas is on the next block. Reception staff here are so helpful and friendly

Very nice hotel, simple and straightforward. Rooms very clean and well presented with all mod cons. Poolside clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Great stay for a wee, weather great. Only criticism is that when we got there we were given a room in the corner of the block with no view whatsoever and a massive tree outside the balcony, explained to the staff and they moved us asap. I think there will always be a problem with anyone given this room.
