Lovely hotel, clean and spacious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. It is on the top of a steep hill down to Los Christianos town which could be hard for less abled holidaymakers although there are taxis outside the hotel and plenty in the town.

What began as a 4 week holiday was extended to 10 weeks due to the second Covid Lockdown in the Uk. 8 of those 10 weeks were at Hollywood Mirage where occupancy ranged between 25% to 75% during out stay there. School Half term accounted for the higher figures. The resort attempted to provide as normal an experience as possible with face masks having to be worn at all times publicly except poolside or in restaurant. They provided special outdoor dinner events With entertainment on Wednesday evenings and BBQ on Saturday lunchtimes and Roast Dinners on Sundays which you had to by buy tickets for. The singer Niky provided great entertainment and Barbie joined her the Wednesday specials. It is a beautiful resort with fantastic views for some apartments. There is an excellent half board offer for 20 euros per person for 7 days worth of meals.

We arrived for a short break in November and we were really impressed with the 1 bedroom we booked for the 3 of us. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable double bed and sofa bed. Pool area was clean (heated pools) and lots of beds free at the second pool where we stayed mostly as it was close to our room. Walked to the beach and took a taxi back €4 as we couldn't face the walk up hill. We paid for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was okay, with the usual eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Dinner on the first night was not so good but was okay all the other days. (You have to pay for drinks at dinner as that is not included in the package) Also paid a little extra for a Holywood themed party one of the days and the food and atmosphere was great! We had free drinks with this one. All round it was a lovely place to stay and I would definitely visit again. The only thing I might change is maybe have dinner elsewhere. There were many restaurants nearby. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This place was peaceful and we had a lovely time.

Check in: got to the hotel for 11am and told rooms were not ready till 4pm, so had to wait around. We were able to use the pool facilities till then and luggage left in a luggage room. Room: Super outdated. No rooms have any double beds to we had to push the 2 single beds together. The AC was broken and when reported to reception we were provided with a fan. Some stains on the bed sheet and bathroom was cleaned but tiling etc needed replacement as had mould. Beds moved when sleeping and turning as had wheels on them. Food: went half board which really wasn’t worth it. As we don’t eat meat we were really limited at breakfast. Selection wasn’t so great either the usual eggs beans and chicken nuggets? A small cheese board. Croissant and cake for breakfast too?? A small coffee machine which always has a queue and you had to queue for this machine for hot water for tea also. Dinner was really poor. 3 courses where starters and dessert were buffet. Starters was just cheese and bread, dessert was small cake and advertised with ice cream with the ice cream no where to be seen. When we asked the waiter he said he would bring it out and never did! Mains were again very small portions not enough to fill up anyone so had to bulk up on starters and dessert! Not worth it really with much better restaurants nearby doing better dinner. Facilities: 3 pools with 2 currently open. Plenty of sun beds and space in the pool - this was the only positive of the whole trip. Spa closed, this was understandable due to the pandemic. If you’re here for a few days and don’t plan on staying at the hotel the whole time it’s fine but if you’re here for longer, you can find a better place! Would not visit again.

Disappointed with our short stay here. When we arrived in the room the bathroom floor was filthy despite asking reception for it to be cleaned this didn't happen and we ended up buying wipes to do it ourselves. Doednt feel you with any confidence while living in a covid world. The food is disappointing don't bother with half board if you are going to stay here 1 small chicken leg with a small wrinkled up peice of salad was classed as dinner. No potatoes chips or rice etc. Breakfast was a buffet style gloves were around for guests but not enforced. The bar by the pool the poor guy is overrun and receives no help. It took over an hour to get a hot dog and burger for lunch we realised when it was handed to us it was the food that had been left on the side for 20 odd minutes. No thanks! The chips weren't even cooked. We paid for a bbq special on the day we arrived which was nice however as we had no room yet we sat at the bar and realised the food was left out for over 4 hours flies all over it and people where still self serving. When we arrived only pool 1 was open this was not socially distancing and it felt unsafe We went and spoke to the reception and said its too busy then next day pool 2 was also open providing a more cold safe environment. This is one thing they acted quickly one which we were pleased with. In all honestly this hotel is a 2 star definitely not a 3 or 4 star for some reviews.
