Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel is celebrated for its impressive range of amenities, including various pools and a rooftop bar with scenic views. While the hotel's atmosphere is lively with entertainment options, opinions on the decor and ambiance are mixed. Some guests find the rooms spacious and clean, but others feel they are dated.
The staff's exceptional service often earns high marks for friendliness and efficiency. However, noise can be an issue for some guests, and there are mixed feelings about the value, with unexpected charges being a concern. The location is deemed convenient, although hilly, and the hotel's cleanliness is regularly applauded.

Detailed Reviews

This hotel is located about a mile out of the main town of Los Cristianos and the beaches. There is a free shuttle bus that runs throughout the day to take you to the beach, which is helpful as the walk is down/uphill. It’s a gentle gradient and took us about 20 minutes at an enjoyable stroll, but it’s worth knowing that there is a walk involved if you go out at night. The hotel itself was clean and had everything we needed. We were booked on a bed and breakfast basis and found the choices at breakfast to be very good. We had lunch at the hotel a few times and it was ok, but on the whole we were happier to eat out and sample some more local food, especially as we eat a predominantly plant based diet which the hotel didn’t really cater for. The pools are great, and it’s worth the little walk to the leisure area across the way which has a bigger pool and was often less busy (be warned though, that pool is COLD!). You can hire towels for the pool/beach from the spa at €10 each (refundable on return) which saves packing them to take from home. Our room was nice and we appreciated having a lounge area to relax in. All the staff we encountered were cheerful and helpful and as it was a special birthday for my husband we found a bottle of something fizzy in our room which was a lovely touch. Some tips: inward facing room would, I imagine, be noisy at night due to the entertainment, but we’d recommend asking for a room that doesn’t sit over the smoking area outside the hotel. It wasn’t too bad but sometimes the smell of smoke meant we had to shut the door to the balcony.

We spent a few days in November at the Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel. The reception staff were lovely. Our room was lovely, cleaned every day by Maria, we got fresh towels when we needed them, coffee and sugar were refilled every day. The bathroom was perfectly fine, with a comfortable sized shower, free toiletries, lots of hot water with great pressure. The food was buffet style for us on half board. There was plenty of food and a lot of variety. We are picky eaters but we found a lot of things delicious. Cookies are prettier than they taste, but there is a wide variety of fruit and some ice cream available at meals. The pools are beautiful. The season was not the best for swimming, at least for us the water was chilly. But we could use one of the five pools because it was fortunately heated, and that made us really happy. There was also a small jacuzzi on the roof which we didn't have time to try. The location of the hotel is not perfect, as it is quite hilly, but as I saw, there are very few places in Tenerife where you don't have to climb a hill if you want to get here or there, not just hang out at the hotel during your entire vacation. By the way, a free shuttle runs between 9 am and 5 pm to Los Cristianos beach, which is very good. Finally: It is not fashionable these days, but there are still people who smoke, like me. It was very inconvenient and unpleasant that I could hardly find a designated place for smoking. And I couldn't find one where I could have a coffee with my cigarette comfortably in the morning, sitting at a table. Apart from that, I can say that we really had a great time and I can confidently recommend the hotel to everyone.

We stayed in this hotel from 9/01/25 to 16/01/25, half board with TUI as our package operator. Arrived rather late and was given a room in second floor. On entering the room we were disappointed to find the room rather unusual for a 4 star hotel. Open shower and toilet with no screen between them and more like a 2 star hotel with only 3 coat hangers and no luggage stand. We headed to dining room and found it to look sterile like an over crowded staff canteen. The food was ok and varied. The next day requested a room at the top floor and they were very accommodating and arranged for our luggage to be transferred. The room at the 4th floor was exceptionally good and of 4 star quality. We found the staff exceptionally good and helpful and because of this I feel uncomfortable to give this hotel a bad review.
As time went by the hotel grow on us and we began to enjoy our stay. Here are some of the good points about this hotel:
• The top terrace area at the top 7th floor is very pleasant, serving good drinks, specially cold beer served in frozen glasses! The prices were quite reasonable.
• Despite some of not very good reviews we found the food to be varied and of good quality
• We explored the area around the hotel and found it to be nice and lively. It takes 10-13 minutes steep walk to beech but there are free transport every 15 minutes. We preferred walking although walking back was a bit tiring.
• Some bathrooms are equipped with bidet
.. and here are some not very good points about this hotel:
• The dinning room is not a very pleasant area, the furniture is of canteen style with no proper table cloth. It could do with some modernising and perhaps a redesign.
• The food was varied but the layout of serving area created unnecessary queuing.
• No brush in the toilet! One needs to flash 3-4 times to flash it clean
• No tea or coffee making facility in standard rooms, only on superior rooms
• No luggage stand in the room.
• The TV screen is very small but there are many English language channels.
• The corridors around the main atrium were quite dark with inadequate motion detected lights. With modern, very low energy LED lights the environment impact of having some decent lights is quite small and insignificant.
• One of the lifts was giving the wrong floor display and acted erratically throughout our stay.
Would we stay in this hotel again? Probably yes, but if only the price is good!

Got off to a bad start to be charged €2.50 a day just to use safe, as I pointed out to receptionist I've stayed in hotels over the world and never had this charge.
I didn't rate the food much, fruit and sweets were nice but dinners were usually cold and under cooked, breakfast not bad but bacon very fatty. Coffee good but drinks even non alcoholic and water not available at dinner times just breakfast if not fully inclusive. Beer was OK at £2.20 a 1/2 litre but barcadi very expensive at €4.90 served with a gasless Pepsi from the pump and no bottled coke available which I'd have paid extra for.
Room very clean if a little on the small side and the TV was tiny with limited channels. The mattress was very hard and gave me back ache but my partner liked it so personal choice I guess.
1st floor bar where the adult entertainment began was more like a Mcdonald restaurant and very basic. The 1st night's entertainment was funny but that was it. The downstairs entertainment was good in places and acceptable with some good singers I especially liked the disco lady.
Pools I tried were not heated as advertised.
The location I would point out is not ideal for a 73 year old man with a dodgy knee being built on a steep hill making the shortest of walks a chore. The free bus service was OK, I read someone complain about the driver being rude but on contrary I found them friendly and funny joking with the passengers.
All the staff were very nice especially the room service ladies who did a great job with regular bed changes and clean showers and kept us topped up with coffee, tea and milk.
Would I book again? Unfortunately not as way too hilly for me causing me mobility problems also I think it's more a young families hotel.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We regret to read that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the safe charge, the information about it is available on our website, app, and welcome brochure. Likewise, it is also explain that our half board regime does not include drinks and, therefore, drinks have to be paid. We appreciate your feedback on the food and entertainment, which we will consider for future improvements. On the other hand, we are glad to know that you found our staff friendly and that housekeeping provided a great service. We understand that the location may not be ideal for all guests, and we appreciate your perspective. We value your comments and we thank you for staying with us. Kind regards, Quality Department.

This hotel is very family friendly and has all you need for a perfect sunny family trip.
You don't really need to leave the hotel as it has everything you need:
Pool
Food
Drink
Entertainment (day and night)
Kids club
Friendly staff.
The entertainment team work very hard around the clock and make each family feel welcomed and special.
Our little boy Richie, (4.5 years old) loved the mini club, they had different themes and activities each day to keep them occupied. He was asking each day "when is mini club open?"
We were worried at first about putting him in but after completing the necessary paper work and sitting in with him for a short time, we felt he was in safe hands.
The activities around the pool for adults and children: darts, soft archery, coffee making, water mat, water aerobics, water polo etc.
Thank you especially to Frederica, Alessandra, Jose, Nadia, Bumba & Alberto.
We went all inclusive and thought the range of food on offer was brilliant- something for everyone, even the fussy eaters.
You could eat reasonably healthy and balanced if you wished, or indulge in chips, pizzas and desserts too.
The hotel was very clean, we noticed cleaning staff throughout the day cleaning the main areas of the hotel. Cleaners came into our room daily to change beds, and towels.
Our room was a 1 bedroom deluxe, located in the main hotel. We found it to be quite noisy in the evenings, as you had the noise travel up from the bar and entertainment venue below. However we still had a good sleep every night just a little on the noisy side.
A short 1k walk to the old Cristianos beach or a 40 min walk to Las Americas.
We found a great little roof top bar called The Attic, there was an out door (but shaded) soft play, trampolines, bouncey castle enclosure. You could drop the kids in for 30mins-1 hour for around 5 euros and you could sit and have a drink in the bar opposite! This is just a short walk from the hotel.
Local buses pass by and plenty of taxi's so easy to get around.
We went in early Dec and the weather was a pleasant 23 degrees- perfect winter sun.
We highly recommend this hotel for families- brilliant! Thank you for having us!

This is an honest account of our 11 night Stay in this Hotel. On Landing we had a smooth check in and we're happy with Directions up to the 7th floor where we had booked a Sea View Suite, Yes it was dearer but in our honest opinion well worth the extra Money. The suite was large in size with a decent sized bed and two balcony's which opened up to the sea view overlooking the main pool. View was Outstanding. Full Air conditioning and large sofa, Bar area with fridge to store your essentials, a small area with table for writing with phone and the bathroom was large in size with jacuzzi Bath, desperate shower and separate toilet.
Maids came in every day and cleaned, clean towels every day. Real bonus.
The roof top was up a flight of steps and was a real find with Balinaise Beds, sun loungers and Bar, jacuzzis and small pool.
The only thing I wish the reception had told us in arrival as part of check in that we could book these beds free as we had paid for suite because we were 4 days into our holiday before we knew. I would definitely recommend. Such a lovely place to relax with the view. But if music would be nice on roof top.
There is a spa in the hotel with is 10 euros an hour per person and we just loved using that, it has a massive Jacuzzi,Sauna, Steam room and Plunge Pool with several Special Showers and Relaxation Room. Total find for us and loved it.
The hotel has several areas to it and a Poolside across the road where Adults can relax with outdoor pools, one with hydro beds and small Cold water Jacuzzi. There is a bar too. The food was the least favourite Part of our holiday, I'm not saying it was awful by any means and most part the Variety was there but its personal preference and we just didn't always find much that we enjoyed, I absolutely loved there wee baked potatoes and found myself just eating them. Breakfast I'd just go for coffee. Like I say some days were better than others and the volume of people that they cater for the Chefs do a good job. You see them cooking in front of you. The hotel offered a free Shuttle mini bus every day outside the hotel to take you to the beach front usually starts at 9.30am and runs every half hour. Collects you same spot you get dropped off every quarter too and past every hour stopping at 1.30pm for couple hours. This was amazing and allowed us to go in and enjoy the beach front and shops. We didn't do entertainment as we were more about relaxation and mostly after Dinner just chilled in our suite or on Balcony.
Overall we loved this hotel, staff amazing and we are planning a return trip to here. Would highly recommend to Friends & Family
Thank you for making our trip Memorable

Terrible!!! This is barely a 3 star, and I believe it only gets its 4* as it has a basic spa attached.
Food terrible - we went half board and after sampling lunch on the first day of our stay we were disappointed. Basic, bland, and not much choice at all. We then went to breakfast the next morning and it was terrible, the sausages had never seen a cooker. We ate out for the rest of the duration of our holiday.
Honestly if you are used to a higher standard you will be very disappointed. We read all the reviews and thought we were in for a treat. I honestly feel the people who visit this hotel have never been to a proper 4* because this is not up to standard.
The entertainment was shocking, a man singing terribly, I can sing better in the shower. Children’s entertainment started at 8:30pm in a dark and dingy room with an incredibly dangerous slippy floor. The seats were mainly leather and ripped.
Drinks, we paid for our drinks as we went half board and they were ok, however we purchased drinks to take back to our room and got given plastic glasses, which smelt and tasted awful.
The pools were okay and there were plenty of sun-beds, however this hotel certainly attracts a certain type of clientele as there was a lot of shouting and swearing around the pool and the smell of weed lingering from time to time. Even though they say this is a non smoking hotel, it was not! We opted for the beach after spending the first day in this atmosphere by the pool.
The room, on face value it seemed fine, however the second room looked like a prison, no pictures on the walls to make it seem homely and windows you can not see out of, my daughter slept in our room, I wouldn’t put her in there. The beds and tables had bugs, we put mosquitoes stickers everywhere to try and detract the bugs, they didn’t work, there were ants and bedbugs. We pulled the beds away from the wall and this didn’t help, we woke up with bites every morning and itched through the night. The beds have also seen better days, terrible. The bathroom was ok and shower was good.
The area around the hotel is dangerous and not family friendly, there are a lot of homeless following you asking for money and they’re intimidating. It’s very dark on an evening and not many street lights.
The shuttle bus is terrible, this is a free service run by a very grumpy man. It is a free shuttle to the beach however he doesn’t allow you on his shuttle if you have been to the beach. If you have a grain of sand on you or have buckets and spades he isn’t happy. This bus is ready for the scrap heap, so I’m not sure why he reacts this way. He also said we couldn’t get on the shuttle wet, we were not wet. But he wasn’t happy.
We are used to 4* hotels with a good choice of food, and a friendly atmosphere with nice surroundings and we have visited lots of hotels 4 and 5 star, this is by far the worst we have been to. If you are frequent travellers and often visit 4* or above go somewhere else, this is 3 star at a push.
Food terrible - we went half board and after sampling lunch on the first day of our stay we were disappointed. Basic, bland, and not much choice at all. We then went to breakfast the next morning and it was terrible, the sausages had never seen a cooker. We ate out for the rest of the duration of our holiday.

Absolute rollercoaster of emotions about this hotel.
If you can, I’d recommend grabbing a taxi or booking an individual transfer from the airport as we had a jet2 coach and waited for over an hour with no air con for other flights to land in 32 + degrees.
Our room wasn’t ready until 2.30pm should be 3pm so a bit earlier which was good (we arrived at 12) so they stored our luggage and we went to the snack bar . The reception team are so helpful and friendly!
Originally we were half board and easily spent over €30 on a couple of drinks and some snacks( family of 4 )within the first hour.By the next day we had decided to upgrade to their all inclusive package which reception did for us. I would highly recommend doing this for the ease of snacks and drinks alone it was worth it.€450 for 6 days for 4. Included all drinks, meals , alcohol ,ice-creams and toasties etc .They stop serving alcohol at the bar at 11pm.
The room we were assigned was honestly - awful ,dirty, smelt badly of damp,a lot of mould and generally like it was out of the 70’s ,it was really tired and dated. I decided I was being over sensitive as I was shattered but when we walked back in after a swim i realised i definately wasn’t.
Later when I was at reception I mentioned the smell and they immediately offered to swap our room which was 100% better and so pleased we did it.
We met lots of lovely people which made our holiday. The pool is busy but I like that people don’t reserve loungers all day so you can easily find one at any time. The toddler pool opens at 9am and the pool across the way at 10am and there is an adults only pool, we didn’t venture there.
It’s only a short walk into town (15-20 minutes)which we did daily. It’s up a bit of a hill on the way back but there is a bus from the hotel hourly both ways.
There is also a supermarket opposite the hotel which opens 24 hours which sells all basics.
There is plenty of room in the restaurant and hardly any queues. Its very casual so you can dress up if you wish but not many did.
The food is basic , quite bland and repetitive but there is plenty.
Our favourite was breakfast,I had poached eggs and and bacon and my husband loved the freshly made omelettes.Breakfast opens between 7.30-10.30am.
Lunch is 1 - 3pm and evening meal 8 - 10pm.
With the exception of our first room the hotel is really well maintained.
It is a no smoking hotel so you have a few designated areas ,and will be fined €100 if you are found smoking on your balcony.
Towels are €10 each which you get from the spa and the money is returned when you take them back closes at 6pm and opens at 10am.
(So don’t get caught out on your last day if leaving early.)
The entertainment team do activities in the day which are okay.In the evening the only thing we saw which was decent was the Elton John tribute around the pool. However there is usually a singer on every evening in the bar area.
The cleaners come early in the morning so pop the sign on your door if you don’t want to be woken up.
There is nothing wrong with this hotel but I wouldn’t say based on other places we’ve been it is 4 star. However if you just want a break and some sun and a nice clean hotel it fits the bill.

Stayed here for 10days all inclusive. Restaurant was good - buffet style with various things to choose from. Key options for evening meal were pizza, paella, grilled meat, salad and pasta. Breakfast offered full English, pastries, fruit and cereal. Lunchtime options weren’t as good from the restaurant perspective but the outside bar offered hot dogs, burgers, roasties, salad and nachos. Entertainment by the pool at various points of the day, my son particularly enjoyed water polo and the running mat. People do reserve sunbeds even though it is clearly signposted not to. Staff should remove towels if people don’t use them within a set period of time but I didn’t see this happen once. Luckily for us we were by the pool at 9 as it’s warm enough to jump into the pool so we didn’t struggle to get a seat. Adult only areas seemed to always have space. Not a great deal of space for kids to run around - there was a small footy pitch by the teen club which allowed 5 or 6 kids the option of a game. Staff were friendly. Rooms were well maintained by the cleaning team - beds made daily along with floors swept and wiped along with fresh towels. Locations was perfect as only 15 mins walk to the beach. Evening entertainment was good and all loud music stopped by 11. Some guests were a little loud when returning to their rooms but when you’re on holiday, you expect this. Supermarket within walking distance. Pool and snooker bar next door - cheap to play, drinks were well priced and it provided another form of entertainment for my son who is 11. Would definitely recommend as overall our experience was positive.

Dear Hayley, We would like to express our gratitude towards your feedback on your recent visit to Paradise Park. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay thanks to our restaurant, food, entertainment activities, the friendliness of our staff, the cleanliness of our rooms and location. Regarding our sun beds, we have rules about them, and it is not allowed to reserve them, as it is indicated on our website, welcome flyers and stickers that are placed on them. Our team is aware of this, and we are constantly working hard to prevent this from happening. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused. We appreciate that you recommend us and we hope to welcome you back again in the near future. Best regards, Quality Department

In our opinion, this hotel is not befitting of a 4* hotel at all. The food was poor as was the entertainment. We went to eat elsewhere for most of our stay. The entertainment was of a poor quality too. We had to constantly ask reception to replenish coffee and milk in our room. We stayed as inclusive plus guests, but there was no benefit to this at all. We still had to pay for half an ironing board and iron and to use the safe, whereas other hotels where we have stayed as inclusive plus guests don’t charge inclusive plus guests for this service and we get a proper ironing board too! The ‘restaurant’ is like a works canteen. The snack bar doubles up as the entertainment space and is very poor, as were the snacks too. The junior suite we booked was very near a busy road and there was no view to speak of.
