The best part was the staff! They were absolutely great helping us to move around Mykonos and gave us great tips about places to visit and restaurants. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable for 4 people.

Stayed here for a week in july. Fantastic hotel, would definitely recommend it. I came with my daughter and we had a twin room facing the front so had a good sea view. The room was very clean. The maids do a good job. The only downside is there is no kettle in the room. The 2 pools are great and there was always sunbeds available. The breakfast selection was very good. I dont normally go back to the same place twice as like to see different places but if I could take this hotel anywhere else I would. I would def recommend this hotel

Just returned from a two week break in Mykonos. Our hotel room was spotless, the staff attentive and happy to help with all queries. The views were beautiful from our room across the infinity pool, expansive sun decks and numerous sun beds. 24 hour air on which ran even when you were not in the room or had the patio doors open. This meant that the room was ice cool when you entered it - absolutely a life saver after frying by the pool all day. Hot water and a walk in shower with complementary gels conditioner etc. Towels changed daily, beds made daily and sheets replaced every 3 days. Free beach / pool towels from reception. The breakfast selection was fantastic and catered for all needs, suggest you ask for iced coffee with milk that was on offer from the bar at no extra cost. We made use of the room service on a couple of occasions when we wanted to slum it. Burger and chips delivered on a tray to your room piping hot. Large fridge in your room to store the wine beer coke and juices purchased from the large SPAR by the airport. Flatscreen tv which had at least 6 uk speaking channels and Eurosport. No kettle in the room but bought one at SPAR for 9 euros and brought it back with us. We did eat at the beachfront Yielo Yielo, but found the portions were small and very expensive. We were also made to feel as if we were wasting their time as we did not want a starter We primarily ate at Nikos Gallop on the main road out of the resort. It is up the hill but has great views over the bay and nearby islands. The owner and staff were very friendly the food hot, tasty and proper portion sizes . We did not have one meal that wasn’t tasty and as we hoped. Would recommend the meat platter for 2. Hired a scooter from First rentals, 125 Piaggio, I ride a 1000c sports bike in the Uk so I am an experienced biker. The scooter was well maintained and carried the two of us around the island.the only hills it couldn’t climb were those that you couldn’t walk up anyway! Roads were generally well surfaced and quiet except around the main town. Roundabouts are interesting as everybody seems to think they have right of way. As usual the only people that seemed to have accidents were those that had hired quad bikes with no experience of riding these. They are very unstable as they are top heavy, have a very narrow footprint and the controls are very unpredictable. If you don’t know what you are doing then the talent and bravado that you think you have will run out very quickly, very few quadbike renters also seemed to think it a good idea not to bother wit helmets. Enough said. We had the scooter for 3 days and as the island is small we felt that we had seen all we needed. Local supermarkets clearly spring up for the holiday season only, they are poorly stocked and very expensive. Whilst we had the scooter we used the Spar by the airport to stock up. Prices were a quarter of what goods cost at the resort, on two levels, fully stocked, air conditioned and even has a live DJ! Buses are regular, 2 people into town took 15 minutes and cost 4.60 euros in total each way. We saw one couple pay 45 Euros for the same trip in a blacked out windowed taxi. Visited Delos by boat to see the historic ruins. We bought our ticket for the trip at the harbour kiosk and paid our entrance at the island. The cafe on the island is currently closed so take drinks with you. There is virtually no shade as the island is barren and the only respite can be found at the museum. This place is fantastic but the heat and lack of shade made the visit very tiring. We were there for about 3 hours and the crossing took about 30 minutes each way, 4 hours thoroughly well spent. Make sure that you go into town to watch the sunset from the windmills / Little Venice absolutely beautiful, the first time that I have ever heard a crowd of hundreds burst into spontaneous applause at the sun dropping out of view. We took plenty of suntan lotion from the UK, the winds lull you into thinking the heat isn’t there. We saw a number of people who had been caught out and were badly burnt. In Mykonos town we saw lotion being sold at 20 Euros for a small bottle total rip off. We would recommend both the hotel and the island in general.make sure that you get away from the main southern beaches and discover the empty beaches of the northern coast. Make sure that you are clear what things cost before you get caught out by some of the rip off restaurants, if you haven’t asked for something and you accept these extras then you will be charged. If you want a quality hotel offering a good service in a spectacular location then The Georgei is the one for you.

This was a fantastic hotel, very clean, the staff were great and possibly the best hotel I’ve stayed in. We were a 2 minute walk to the beach and main bus station which took you into Mykonos town (10 minute journey) Fantastic food, fantastic service, absolutely no issues with sun loungers and would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning in the future.
