Stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! Very comfortable, clean and affordable! The rooms are recently renovated so they are great! 😍 It is run by Mina and her husband who are both super lovely and helpful - they made me feel very welcome! They arranged airport transfers, early and late check in, gave great recommendations and helped with all my transport needs (Mykonos is notoriously difficult for transport and taxis). Mina Studio's is also in the best spot - Platis Gialos - they are literally a 1 minute walk from the bakery, supermarket, laundry, beauty palour, bus stop to town and cafes. Many beaches nearby and it is also only about a 10 min walk to Nammos. Thank you Mina - will be back!

We recently stayed here as a group of 3 girls (30 years old) and we absolutely loved staying here! Firstly the location- for me this is definitely the best thing about Mina’s. It is close to 2 beaches (literally a couple of minutes walk) Psarou is smaller but has Nammos beach club if you are visiting there but Platis Gialos has lots of restaurants with sunbeds (40euro per set). There is a bakery and mini market just 50m away from the apartment and the bus stop into mykonos town is next to this. This is 2euros into town and is a must. We also got quite a few Ubers to other beach clubs (Scorpio’s super paradise etc) but they are pricey. Mina will arrange airport transfer for 20euros each way (may be more for the minibus, we went in the smaller car) I’d definitely Reccomend to do this as I think it works out cheaper than a taxi. The rooms were clean and spacious (we opted for the studio apartment which looked even better in real life), obviously it doesn’t have a pool but this definitely wasn’t a disadvantage in our opinion as we wouldn’t have used it. Breakfast was a small selection, cereals, fruit and some hot food. Mina will lend beach towels if you need them Would 100% recommend and if I came back to Mykonos again I would definitely stay here!

My friend and I had a great time at Mina Studios. We stayed for a few nights during the off-season and we were given free room upgrades both nights. The woman who runs the hotel was very sweet; she gave us recommendations and helped us reserve ATVs and transportation to and from the airport. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the included breakfast was lovely as well. The location can't be beat— it's right by the water!

We booked 2 nights here at very short notice (as in, on the day!) as we had to extend our stay due to changing travel requirements, whilst it was spur of the moment decision we truly lucked out here! Given we’d been stranded at the airport, we’d hurriedly booked online on booking.com – panicking about how we’d get there quickly with all our cases, Mina was already on to it – she messaged us straight away and told us her hubby would be there asap to collect us – and she wasn’t wrong, he was there in 15 minutes! Location is great! We had previously been staying at a hotel in the area so knew what we were getting but in the interests of the readers; beaches, several nice bars and restaurants (highly recommend Thea at the bottom of the hill - great view, service and prices!) are only minutes away and many of the decent, well-known beach clubs (Nammos, Scorpios, Santanna and Kalua) all within a reasonable 15mins or so walk. NB. Some along cliff paths with minimal shade so please be warned. We stayed in both a studio and a maisonette (we had to switch rooms only because we’d booked such short notice!) and both had really nice, and modern, finishes – actually better than the 5 star down the road we’d been staying in! The ac in the studio was more directed towards the bathroom so it did get a bit hot at night but is manageable and other than that the only possible improvement we felt would be the addition of full-length mirrors in the room. Mina and her husband were great hosts, really friendly, knowledgeable and available to help if you needed. Arranging taxis and transport was no issue (unlike the hotel we stayed in nearby which could only seemingly get expensive private transfers in unnecessarily large minibuses) and they helped with Covid testing etc. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and omelets made to order as well as decent coffee, exactly what you need in the morning. Overall a great base if you want to get out and about in the day. The lack of pool really wasn’t an issue for our short stay but may be a consideration or some given most places charge for beds on the beach or by the pools. They also helped us out of a tight spot and were great hosts, both friendly and really information when we needed info on the Covid testing - we’d definitely return!

Already guest in the past five years, I came back on July to spend 6 nights. They accomodated us in a basement small room communicating with other apartments without any view except the basement itself. Considering that I was out one night in Santorini, I stayed there just 3 nights and decided to checkout in advance because of noises during two nights in the closed apartments from midnight to 3am. No security or control inside by the property. Moreover, having not slept, the cleaning service was always starting outside the basement court side at 7 am, absolutely a nightmare not a holiday time. Cleaning service not acceptable at all. Poor breakfast, any fresh product, in a close embarrassing environment, answer of the property about the quality of breakfast was that it’s COVID fault. We decided to have breakfast nearby in a bakery where COVID procedure was respected with better and totally fresh baked food! We checked out in advance of two nights and the property was getting nervous of our choice and did not accept at all our critics, becoming disappointed and arrogant (customer satisfaction is a concept not existing for them, just money first). They even charged us the two nights not spent there, I suppose they located even the room we left…to other poor guests. They were called by customer service web org and even if they were told rating could be decreased they didn’t care about it. If you want to spend a lovely time in that wonderful part of the island, avoid them!

I would definitely recommend Platis Gialos beach as a base in Mykonos, the beach is lovely, vibrant with clear water and great restaurants. Mina Studios is perfectly located a little walk up the hill, it’s not right on the beach but a 5 min walk away. Mina and her husband Kosmos could not have been more accommodating! We were able to communicate via WhatsApp beforehand and Kosmos picked us up from the ferry port at short notice and was so friendly and gave us all the information about where to go and what he would recommend. Mina was equally lovely, my only comment would be that Mina then repeated all the info Kosmos had already told us in the car and when we arrived we were exhausted from a long day travelling and probably would’ve appreciated to just go straight to our room and chill out, especially as our ferry was late so it was already eating into our evening and time to get ready. Mina went into lots of detail about the area and everything we needed to know about Mykonos but as we were only staying a few nights and already short on time it probably wasn’t necessary and maybe would have been better to leave it to us to ask questions as and when we needed some information. But if you do need any recommendations on restaurants or things to do, Mina has excellent knowledge and speaks perfect English. The room was excellent, comfy, modern, everything was thought of. I thought we would have a sea view balcony from the photos and description, we didn’t, but it didn’t really matter as we were so close to walk to the beach. The breakfast was included and was excellent, tasty and lots of options to choose from a list. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we return to Mykonos.

My friends and I planned our trip to Mykonos as a post A-level holiday and we would definitely recommend Mina's Studios as the place to stay! Mina and her husband Kosmos are brilliant hosts; they both warmly greeted us on arrival answering all questions about transport, best restaurants, beaches and domestic queries- extremely useful for four first-time 18 yr old travellers. They were both really kind, loving and friendly; always willing to help and make sure that our stay was the best that it could be. Platys Gialos is an excellent location with a beautiful beach and walking distance from Psarou, Paraga and Paradise beach. Also buses were running from Mykonos town to the bus stop right outside Mina's studio until 4am allowing a safe return from a night out at cheap prices- ideal for young partygoers like ourselves. We stayed in the studio which was spacious, clean, light and stylish offering two bathrooms, two balconies and fitted with a small kitchen. I would definitely recommend Mina's Studios for travellers on a budget as eventhough the prices seem high, Mykonos is an expensive island so relatively these prices are decent with a great location, incredible hosts, a comfortable stay and lovely free breakfast. Thank you to Mina and Kosmos for your unforgettable hospitality and a beautiful week in Mykonos.

Located in Platis Gialos, just 10 min away from Mykonos town, I'd highly recommend Mina Studios if you aim to stay in within a centric area of the island while slightly away from the busy Mykonos center. Managed by a lovely couple who really made the experience better than we could expect, it offers both great rooms (be sure to choose the superior one with private balcony) and breakfast - best greek yogurt served here! Clean rooms, and located right next to the bus stop to Mykonos town and a series of beaches. Thanks Mina & Kosmos, appreciate your service.
