Writing this from our private terrace. Hotel Petinos is making our trip special. Classy and ritzy without being pretentious. Helpful staff. Spotless rooms and public areas. Not cheap, but less than some comparable hotels. Breakfast included, and will blow any American hotel’s options away! It is quite a distance from the Island’s main town, but buses are frequent and cheap (1.8 Euros).
This was a great hotel - compared with others in the area it was well priced and in a great location. It’s position made it easy to go into the main town - by air conditioned bus. It’s close to the water taxi that can take you around the beaches, the breakfast was great and while the room we had was small - it had everything we needed. The pool area was great for a late afternoon swim and relax. The staff were all lovely - this hotel was recommended to me by a friend and I certainly would come back and stay here again. There’s also a great bakery just up the road
Not only was Hotel Petinos in the perfect location for us, right by the most beautiful beach and walking distance from other nearby beaches, the staff was so attentive and helpful. Particularly want to give a shoutout to the women at the front desk and in the restaurant, Elena, Maria, and Christina, for being very helpful and proactive with everything we could possibly need. The rooms were new and very clean, and we loved the bathrobes and slippers that were left for us. The rooms also come with a steamer, which was a nice added touch as we used it to freshen up our clothes. Also, the breakfast was delicious, the self-serve fresh OJ was an added bonus. Although a little on the pricey side, the experience was well worth it. Would definitely stay here again!
Hotel Petinos (not to be confused with Petinos Beach Hotel) was a very nice hotel. We learned that Hotel Petinos and Petinos Beach Hotel across the street are sister hotels. Hotel Petinos is a 4 star hotel and Petinos Beach Hotel is apparently a 5 star hotel. Either way, we were fine with Hotel Petinos. When I arrived, I asked the front desk to please give us a special room. The lady smiled and provided me with the key to our room. It was not in the main building but instead up the street about 300 feet away from the main building. There was this big house and we had to go downstairs to locate our room in the lower level. Our room was a nice size studio apartment with a large king bed and another twin bed in the corner of the room. There was a small kitchenette area and a very large bathroom and a private balcony. It suited us fine. Every morning, we had to walk down the street to the main building of our hotel to get to the pool area and the restaurant that had the breakfast included with our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room/apartment was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good with wonderful views of the Patis Gialos beach behind the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it. The bus stop was right next to the hotel that would come by every 45 minutes. For just 1,60 Euros, it would take you to old town Mykonos. It ran until 2:00 am in the morning. Also, there was a ferry boat that could take you to the different beaches including Super Paradise Beach. 5 Euros one way/10 Euros roundtrip. This stay at Hotel Petinos was very enjoyable. I am not sure what the 5 star sister hotel across the street had to offer but we were fine with what we got.…
We had an amazing experience at this hotel, everything was great. They cleaned our room every day, amazing breakfast buffet, amazing views, amazing staff. They helped us a lot with everything we needed. We want to come back next year with a bigger group ❤️
Lovely place to stay whilst in Mykonos, a very short walk to the beach Platis Gialos. The family room was large, beds were comfy and nice to have separate shower and bathroom. Balcony was a bit small and room quite dark but we enjoyed drinks by the pool once the kids were asleep which worked well.
Can’t say enough about this resort. The location is perfect. We stayed at the beach resort which is right on the beach. The food and drinks are excellent. The staff is amazing…so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Voula, who took care of our group (12 people) from day one; Evil at Blue Myth, who is so friendly and efficient during breakfast; Jenka, who did a wonderful job with our room every morning. Will definitely come back to this resort on our next trip back to Mykonos!
The hotel was very nice, updated and clean. The staff are very helpful and professional. The location is ideal. It is a few steps away from Platys Gialos beach where there are lots of restaurants. You can rent a beach lounge set for €40/ set for the day or take the water taxi for €20 to beach hop all day. The bus stop to town is also right outside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
Perfect for beach access, day trips by boat and bus into town. Reception is efficient, considerate, helpful and housekeeping is immaculate. Newly renovated rooms are beautifully designed to every single detail, spacious, elegant and the walk-in shower was the best part.
This hotel is stunning!!! Our room was so beautiful we absolutely loved it!!! The buffet breakfast was very versatile, and delicious and the view is to die for. It is on the beach but the hotel itself isn't on the beach. You have to rent a chair to sit on the beach. It really is a lovely hotel. Only downfall is that it is kind of far from the centre so you have to take a bus that comes every hour.
