We had a wonderful stay at Acrogiali Beach Hotel! The staff were excellent and exceptionally kind-everyone was so sweet to our young children and the hotel is very conveniently located on the beach and not too far from town by bus.

The breakfast buffet was really delicious-get the waffles! The restaurant was also great for lunch and the hotel offered quick and beautifully presented room service which we took advantage of. The housekeeping services were also great and the room was always very clean and fresh (the softest towels!).

The front desk staff were so helpful throughout our stay and answered all of our questions about the bus and activities on the island. Getting towels for the beach or pool was very easy and although there is no pool on site, the walk to the sister hotel is 2 minutes away and their pools are nice.

The beach location of the hotel is great and it’s nice to have sunbeds for free as a guest. The water is also crystal clear and shallow which makes it great for kids.

My only suggestion is adding a pillow top to the mattresses because I found them too firm and also having a way to block light from the second bedroom (light filtered in from outside and the room didn’t get dark).

Overall it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend for the service, location, and amenities.

I usually wait until I get back home to start reviewing places but this hotel was so awesome that I am compelled to share right away. We are a family of 4, our kids are teens. The airport pick up service was smooth, the driver was there when we arrived and we did not need to wait for other people. The check in process actually enjoyable because the front desk is so attentive. The beach area is stunning, the water is crystal clear and the sand is smooth ( no pebbles). The food at the beach restaurant was just ok but the service was fantastic. The rooms are clean and they provide anything that you need as far as toiletries. The bed is comfortable, bathroom water pressure is strong. The breakfast was ok not terrible but it did the job. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a nice beach, clean facilities, friendly service. This is not the hotel to party but there ate several beach clubs walking distance.

From arriving at the car park the customer service is great with help with your cases , swift and friendly check in and then help to your room with the bags.

I don't but If you have mobility issues lots of ground floor rooms and a lift

Room go on treat yourself to the sea view it's truly worth it to look out to the beach and sea albeit the garden view isn't awful

Room is clean and maid is almost waiting each day like go for breakfast get back and it's cleaned

Free safe in room is a perk and the fab free daily change beach towels are brilliant if like me you are a hand luggage only traveller
And yes there's a hairdryer and ironing board both full size

Bathroom nice rainfall shower and again don't waste that carry on toiletry space as they restock your shower gel etc every day

AC in room and deck chairs on balcony and decent dark as shutters can be closed at night

Breakfast id say a great range of hot and cold with the star being the freshly squeezed orange juice. Whilst I've seen others moan I didn't think the machine coffee was bad at all

Again I'm not but for people with gluten and dairy allergies I did notice products available

Sun beds POSs as May not an issue and visit the George hotel sister of this one which is a few minutes stroll and has an elevated pool area and even a hot tub and again no sun bed shortage

I loved the lay there and press a button and order ur drinks at both and partic loved u can pay by card app and no real expectation of a tip

The snack bar is what it says on the tin Simple Greek food but reasonable and very nice

Do notice there's free to and from airport minibus which I didnt and be warned taxi ain't cheap

So to Mykonos town hourly bus and it's 1.80 each way and pay driver with cash and they run back till 1am

Plenty of restaurants around the hotel

If you wants shops and a rave no this isn't the resort but if you want a true holiday chill with good food and service well this is the place

I turned my quad bike over ( yes be careful ) and cut my leg and I have to say I was impressed by the first aid kit they stocked and again they even offered to sort it for me - how kind

My 9 nights just sped past tbh

Would I go back definitely no debate to be had and as some one who travels for all there 6 weeks leave this has to be the cutest most relaxing resort and hotel I've stayed at for a while

So go on book it I don't think you will regret it and whilst the George pool area is nice I have to say these guys are far far better at the customer service

Acrogiali Beach Hotel Mykonos is a fantastic hotel with great service. I highly recommend it and have stayed at the hotel the past 4-5 years each summer trip.

The location is great, as it is on Platis Gialos beach, near many restaurants on the ocean, and its 10 min. walk to Nammos or Scorpios. It has a bus stop to downtown that comes 2x every hour. You walk right out the hotel on to the beach. The hotel has day beds, which is very convenient, with staff that assist for chairs and food (Mr. Pantelis was amazing).

Our room was great, and our view is another reason we come to this hotel each year (see pictures). Bathroom has standup shower with glass (no tub, which we prefer). Cleaning staff are great. TV is smart TV so have options.

The restaurant overlooks the beach (again pics), with a nice breakfast buffet and ice lattes to die for. Starting each morning off with this view sets the tone of happiness each day. Staff are super friendly. Lunch on the beach in your sunbed is a must, with the best Greek salads on the island.

Outside of the above, one main reason we stay at this hotel is the staff. They have become like family, from the front desk manager (Eva) to Athnia, Pantelis on the beach, the bartenders and kitchen staff, and bellboys friendly smile and greetings each day. They make the hotel amazing and like home away from home with your hotel family. I will be back again next year, and counting the days!

I’m usually a pretty harsh but accurate reviewer but this place lived up to my expectations. Nice hotel situated right on a great beach. It’s perfect for everyone as there’s no waves, clearest blue water you’ve ever seen and friendly servers taking care of you. We got a family room with a balcony right on the walking sand path. Good people watching. You can walk this path for about a mile to paradise beach and a few others. There’s literally no need to book restaurant, maybe that will change. The restaurant right next store is great for dinner as are a few within a 5 min walk.Joel itself not that expensive. Loungers on the sand we’re free if staying here otherwise $30 euros per day. Whole day for a family of 4 for lunches and a few cocktails was $80-100 Euros. Food was really good as well as the cocktails. Staff was VERY helpful and attentive. They set up taxis, free rides to and from airport etc. I suggest go into Mykonos for at least a night for dinner. Fun vibrant crazy scene. It’s a $20 Euro taxi or you can take the bus. Maid service was in your room within 10 mins of putting the maid sign on your door. Included breakfast was unreal, fresh orange juice, tons on fruits, eggs, pancakes, bacon, crepes. It rivals any Four Seasons hotel. A nice perk is there’s 2 little markets within a block for waters, wine, etc as you have a small fridge and coffee maker in your room.
The only drawback I can think of is there’s no storage space in the rooms or towel hooks so it was hard keeping it somewhat clean.
If there’s a better hotel out there in Mykonos on the beach for a family with 2 teenage daughters let me know. I don’t think there is. Everything was first class

Just arrived home from the Acrogiali Beach Hotel. We had a ground floor garden view room with twin beds, the room was immaculate, with a huge walk in shower, you have toiletries provided, fresh towels and maid service daily, the rooms also have a pod coffee machine and a hair dryer. (If you want a kettle just ask at reception)

The grounds are beautiful and you are literally on the beach which is absloutly stunning with crystal clear waters, if you arnt a beach person then the sister Hotel The George is a 2 minute walk away this has 2 beautiful roof top pools and a jacuzzi.

Breakfast is served between 8-11am and there's everything from a cooked breakfast to pastries, fruit and yogurt etc.

Mykonos Town is a 10 minute bus ride 3.60 per person for a return ticket, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away.

The only negative is that Mykonos is so expensive, 15.00 euro a cocktail and that's the cheapest I saw.

Cannot fault the hotel at all had an absloultly fantastic week and would not hesitate to go back! 5 stars.

My family of 4 (kids 17 & 20) stayed at Acrogiali Beach Hotel and never wanted to leave! The staff was so friendly and helpful! They were more than happy to answer questions and the beach attendant was quick to help with finding us lounge chairs and getting us drinks! We stayed in the Deluxe Quadruple Sea View, which was great! We had a balcony with lounge chairs and an amazing view overlooking the beach. The beach had soft sand and the water was really calm. There were several restaurants along the beach (we mostly ate at Yialo Yialo). There was a bus stop right next to the hotel for easy access to Mykonos Town & Little Venice. We're typically not public transportation people since we live in Arizona, but the bus was clean, ran every 30-60 min depending on time of day, and got us to town in 15 minutes for only 1.50 euros each way (taxi charged 30 euros each way). We'll definitely be back to this hotel!

Yes it’s expensive when you transfer to aussie dollars to euros, but is Mykonos- so that’s not surprising. Also, the hotel value for money including free transfers, amazing breakfasts, free beach lounge chairs and umbrellas and you also get wet to enjoy The beautiful pools with views up the road at The George Hotel, so all round its fantastic!
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay here.
From free easy transport from airport, to smooth check in. Our room wasn’t ready straight away but we were able to change and go and enjoy the beach, which is right out the front. The beach staff were friendly and attentive. The good and drinks we ordered were fantastic.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a fridge that kept everything ice cold and an aircon that was always on.
The location was great, bus stop to town literally 1 min walk. Could walk to places like Nammos, Scorpios, Kalua and Sant Anna beach clubs.
Some lovely restaurants nearby and mini mart. Amazing bakery just near bus stop. Breakfast was great with so many options and the beach here was clean with beautiful clear waters.
Definitely do yourself a favour and treat yourself with a stay here.

A good 3-star hotel trading as 4-star, perfect location right in front of the beach. Get up very early if you want to get one of the beach beds. The man attending the beach (hotel staff) puts towels everywhere reserving them from 5:30am for those who had paid him. Terrible practice and very unprofessional of the hotel to allow him to do this everyday preventing guests to use them. Breakfast is quite good except the coffee that is instant and of poor quality. There is the option to buy better coffee if you want. Rooms are basic (mattress without protector very stained of body fluids and mould, yuk!) but reasonably priced for Mykonos. Staff could smile more.

My husband and I enjoyed the warm and friendly hospitality of the hotel. Firstly, housekeeping services kept the rooms very clean and made sure all our needs were met. Secondly, the other service staff such as the porter, waiters greeted us all the time. Thirdly, the beach waiter was incredibly on the ball, ensuring that our orders were never missed and that we were comfortable. Fourthly, both concierge staff Eva and her partner were very helpful, attentive and friendly. We'd like to make a special mention to Eva, who kept the welfare of the team in mind. It's not only individual staff who made the difference but the dynamics and synergy of the entire team that made the stay for us so memorable. Kudos on wonderful teamwork.

On a practical side, the beach front is very calm with clear waters, perfect for swimming with children. The location is very central for visiting other beaches such as psarou, paraga and paradise. Restaurants with good food are close by (except for DK Oyster). Acrogiali's snack bar serves a varied spread for breakfast. They also serve a pork gyros (portion) that we felt was the best we had tried in mykonos.

If we ever return to Mykonos we'd be back at Acrogiali. Thanks guys - Anil Singh and Grace

Last year during high season, there was no need for it as the hotel has a lot of sunbeds. If you want coastline seats though, I believe 6:00/07:00 should do it. Some people put them after coming back from going out...

The Acrogiali hotel is right on the beach and has spacious balconies if you get those one with seaview. I havent stayed at George but went there to the pool its not on the beach and balconies with seaview havent looked that big.
