Beautiful relaxing hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. Sunbeds by the pool were great! Perfect location being a short walk down to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from along the beach. Bus stop right outside the hotel was perfect for getting into Mykonos town which leaves at 15/45 past the hour, €1.80 each way per person and only takes 20 mins or so. Breakfast was nice and simple with plenty to choose from. Rooms were lovely with plenty of space! Newly fitted bathroom with double shower and a nice boutiquey theme to them :D would defiantly recommend a stay here !

We stayed just 2 nights at the Kamari and enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, updated, and comfortable. The pool was great with an attentive and entertaining staff ready with drinks and offering a good selection of food - it was surprising that they had a poolside kitchen.

Can't understand some of the poor reviews! We were here for a wedding so there were lots of friends staying in Platis Gialis. The general opinion from those who visited was we were in the best hotel - some were in 5☆! The staff are great. Always courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good. The pool was admired by all. The pool snack bar reasonably priced with a nice lunchtime menu. Rooms clean and comfortable with good AC, fridge, hair dryer etc. The towels were changed each day regardless of where we left them which was unnecessary but nice. 1 week was enough - not because of the hotel, but because Platis Yialis is so small with limited restaurants. It is however really easy to catch the bus outside the hotel into Mykonos Town which is a great place to visit. We have not been to Greece for a while and expected prices to have increased a lot but did find the island expensive in comparison with Spain especially for drinks and food - 50 to 60% more.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days last week, the hotel was lovely and the room was great, roomy and clean. The check in staff when we arrived were really lovely. The bartender and the chef down by the pool were friendly and did a lovely iced coffee and omelette, nothing was too much trouble. The reason I gave it four stars not 5 was the breakfast, it really let this place down ,on the last day we went for breakfast at 10.30, it finishes at 11, most days it was not great but this time there was t much left, the coffee machine had run out and they weren’t going to re fill it, we asked if we could have an omelette which they did, we left breakfast then on checking out the lady from the breakfast room came chasing after us about paying for the omelette, we said we would, we were checking out so told her to add Ito to our bill, I explained to the guy on reception that breakfast was awful that day, hence we had asked for an omelette, he wasn’t very friendly and just shrugged his shoulders. On checking out we weren’t asked how our stay was etc. It was a shame as this has marred our view of the hotel, we will probably go back next year but I would suggest room on,y as there is a lovely bakery down the road.

For starters, the breakfast is by far the worst I have ever tasted in my life. It literally has absolutely no seasoning and It seems like they just pulled it from a can and placed it on the buffet line. Second, there is very poor ventilation and inefficient air-conditioning on the first floor. It was so bad that we had to get another hotel. We complained about this to staff and was told to wait for a while for the a/c to work properly. They did not understand that the 1st floor was very humid and heat was trapped. We had the a/c at the coldest level but the room still felt warm. We decided to get another hotel within less than 12 hours of of our stay and ask for at least half of a refund. The manager declined and stated they could not do that. We emailed upper management and we’re waiting for a response. With all that has been said, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone so please avoid them.

We stayed here for 5 days during our honeymoon. The service and the staff were excellent! The hotel is located near one of the best beaches, both of which are around 5 min by walking. They offer airport pick up for 10€ for 2 people. It's about 10 minutes drive away from the airport but it is hard to walk around the island so I'd recommend taking the ride with them. The hotel is nice and spacey. They have a small-ish pool that is open from 8am to 8pm. The rooms are also spacey, bed is comfy, bathrooms are big, water pressure in the shower is good. They don't provide a kettle and some refreshments in the room. The TV screen (22inches) is way too small compared to the size of the room. The breakfast is an open buffet with selections of sweet and savory options, I.e. pastries with spinach/feta, eggs, bacon, sausage and cakes, rice pudding, bougatsa, cookies, cereal, fruits. You get tea and coffee as well, however the Greek coffee is extra. The breakfast is served from 7.30 to 11am. There are public busses available right in front of the hotel that goes to the mykonos town "fabrika" every 30 mins (15 past and 45 past) for 1.8€/person. From fabrika you can then take other busses to nearby beaches at the same price. All the beaches are mostly carpet-bombed by the sunbeds which you have to pay around 50-70€/set (2 sunbeds and a parasol) if the sunbed is all the way in the front row. The prices get lower as you go further back away from the water. Most people rent scooters as there are ample opportunities to do so. You can also rent ATVs and cars. It's a bit of a wild wild west so be careful.

Spacious and well equipped room, with balcony, safe and mini fridge. Beautiful common areas and pool, also offers parking lot. Great location (close to great beaches and by a bus stop to town), and offers affordable transfer to and from airport/port. Decent breakfast and helpful staff. Good for families.

The nights I spent at this hotel were horrible. I have rarely seen such a poor service, with mean people and dirty rooms. The housekeeper came yelling a 10am to force us to get out of the room so she could clean it. The food is uneatable, the pool looks like a public pool. The wifi does not work and they try to fool you and give you the worst rooms at the opposite side of the hotel. There is no window in the rooms and they look like a prison. So one advice, avoid this hotel!!
