This is hands down the best Hotel I have stayed in all of Europe. The staff is hands down AAA+. The hotel is tranquil and located exceptionally. The food is impeccable and the service is world class. I want to thank all of the staff that took care of us. Marios, Evi, Hercules, Michaelis, Tonia, Konstantinos, Dimos, Ted and Agapi. I can’t wait to come back here. These people became my family for 6 days. I truly love all of you and look forward to coming back.

We have just returned from an 8 day stay at The Myconian Ambassador. The location of the hotel is great next to a village /beach Platis Gialos where you can walk and enjoy the restaurants away from Mykonos town which is a short taxi ride away. Getting a taxi was no problem . The staff at the hotel are outstanding absolutely nothing is too much trouble from them. The breakfast is delicious , buffet style and also Al La carte . The pictures I have included in this review were from my breakfast table. Staff again were always friendly and efficient. We spent most of our time at the pool and the girls Zoe & Tizi were outstanding . (They also served at breakfast). We have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world and would say this is one of our favourites due to the way we were treated everyday. Thanks to Zoe & Tizi. Thanks to Marilena at the bar for our pre dinner drinks always served with a lovely smile . All the staff were great but especially the 3 girls mentioned in my review .

Although the rooms and beds were comfortable, the service was far from five star, we stayed in room 532 and it’s not like it’s a cheap rate to pay, the service at the restaurant was great but everything else like the room service was terrible. To order two cappuccinos it took 30 mins, then they tell you they have only one guy working for room service and they informed you it would take long, but that is not in line with five star service, far from it, I ordered breakfast ( again room service) yougurt with honey ( came without honey) a fruit platter which came 20 mins late after we finished our breakfast, the room wasn’t re stocked with tissue paper, or cleared from complimentary snacks the first day, all these things were below satisfactory, and they called us at 530 am for a wake up call that we didn’t ask for, the guy was barely apologetic for waking us up, just terrible service and rookie mistakes, showing lack of control the hotel has. Best part was instead asking us how are stay was, offering any kind of compensation upon check out, the lady didn’t ask how are stay was and if we were satisfied she proceeded to ask my husband if he felt like tipping which he did because he’s a nice person but this was the worst stay with terrible service and staff that only care about their tips and not the guests stay. Hugely dissapointing, for the rates I’d suggest staying at Cavo tagoo or bill and coo, or kousarous and not come here if your expecting top quality service, as your paying for it.

The hotel is beautiful, poshy, the restaurant supposed to be Relaix Chateau but the truth is it's a bad hotel. The room smells like cigars, there was a f... gum at my wife's yogurt at breakfast, a GUM! So, if you want to be poshy, first you have to be a good hotel in the basic stuff, a good smell, a breakfast without sworms or gums

Response from Myconian Ambassador, Other at Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux Hotel
Responded 4 weeks ago
Dear Seaside84064 , We are welcoming all constructive feedback, however we must admit that we are surprised from your comments on the experience you had so we feel the need to provide further information in order to avoid any misunderstandings from the above comments. Although we understand that your room might had a smell of cigarette smoke, our hotel provided right away an alternative room option that you declined. Also, since our top priority is guests comfort and wellbeing, when we followed up once again providing you the option of a new room you insisted on staying at your original one. As for your comments on our restaurant, being a proud member of Relais & Chateaux and the first five star hotel in the area operating from 1992, our experience in hospitality is not only guaranteed but also praised by numerous guests, a lot of them repeating visitors. A quick look at the previous reviews, with the complete absence of swearing comments, can give you a clear image of the level of service provided and speaks volumes of the high standards of Myconian Collection Hotels. We would like to thank you once again for choosing Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux hotel for your summer vacation and we will be more than glad to welcoming you once again in a future visit. Respectfully, Eleftheria Vidiadaki Quality & Duty Manager

We travelled as a family of 4, and stayed 10 nights. Myself and husband, my mum and my 87 year old grandad. We had 3 rooms- all true blue with panoramic sea views ( hubby and I had a jacuzzi) All rooms were lovely, but our room was very bland compared to the other 2 rooms (white, no other colour!) everyone else’s had colour and more accessories than we did! (Our cleaner in our room wasn’t great, we had a lizard thing by our toilet for 2 days, under the bed was full of Dust) other 2 rooms were immaculate! Our view was incredible, sitting in the jacuzzi whilst looking out to the sea. The pool area is beautiful, no fighting for a chair! The Efisia restaurant is spectacular! Every meal we had was perfection! Only downfall is lack of variety for guests staying for a long period! Breakfast was outstanding!!!! Huge variety, and so fresh! (Thank you breakfast staff) Massive shout out to Marlena, Hercules and Tizzy. (You guys were awesome Thank you for looking after grandad!) We would defo come back, the staff services are impeccable.

We went as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters for our long-awaited trip after Covid. We absolutely loved the Myconian Ambassador. I don't usually write reviews but felt this deserved it. The service was impeccable from start to finish - we were greeted with dedicated staff in the lobby and escorted on a tour of the hotel on our way to the rooms. Every person at the hotel was gracious and helpful without being annoying or stuffy - at the desk, the concierge, the pool, the bar, the restaurant, the valet. The rooms were incredible - we got 2 rooms next to each other for the 4 of us. We did not get a room with private pool/hot tub, just a balcony, but it really wasn't needed because the hotel pool was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, very clean, plenty of closet space. The view from the balcony was spectacular - we slept with the doors open to feel the breeze and see the view as we woke up. The pool was incredible, and I don't usually like hotel pools. As the hotel is on a cliff you can see views of the ocean from the pool. It was very easy to get a pool bed, no rush or reservation/payment needed and first bottles of water included. There was always service available to get drinks and food (including sushi), and cleaning of sunglasses. The breakfast buffet that was included was great, and you can also order anything off of the menu for no additional charge. We used the gym which was very nice but didn't have time to take advantage of the spa. We went to the pool area bar after dinner every evening for a nightcap, lots of great cocktails. It is very quiet, but we were good with that. The only minor downside is that they do not have a dedicated beach spot with their own chairs which would have been nice. It is easy to walk to multiple beaches from the hotel, and the hotel provides beach towels, so we explored several beaches, but always wanted to come back to the hotel pool to relax outside of the beach crowds. We rented a jeep for a few days to explore and were able to park it at the hotel, take it in/out as much as we wanted, with no additional charge. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed in room 805 which had an amazing private pool overlooking the bay and beach. The room was in perfect condition. We loved the design of the hotel and the look of the room. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and additional offerings were tasty and arrived quickly. The location of the hotel was great as you could walk to various restaurants and beach clubs as well as a boat shuttle to other beaches. The hotel was a quick ride to the airport or from the port. We stayed only two nights but wish we had stayed longer. Lunch at the hotel was unbelievable!
