The Myconian Ambassador a Relaid and Chateu property was perfect for my wife’s 30th birthday. Close proximity to the beach and wonderful staff. Themis the bartender was a pleasure and everyone at the hotel from the manager to the concierge to the cleaning staff were always so happy.

We recently stayed here towards the end of the tourist season. While the hotel was full, the island was not overrun with tourists, which made it easy to get around. The hotel has amazing views, perched slightly away from the beach but still within easy walking distance. It affords some amazing views. Rooms are generously appointed, although we did opt for a slightly better room category with a hot tub. In true Mykonos style, everything was white - the linen, the room interior and the hotel exterior. It creates an interesting contrast to the brown environment. The hotel has made good use of its poolside area - they have a generous breakfast restaurant which is transformed at night to their fine dining establishment. For a more laid back environment, the tables and chairs around the bar nearby provide a good alternative. During the day, the deck chairs around the pool are serviced so a quick bite under the umbrella is possible. As you'd expect in a hotel of this calibre, the food is excellent, albeit not cheap. Even their lighter food options are going to be priced for being at a 5 star hotel. Expect a generous wine list with European prices. In all areas, service is amazing. The staff knew our names by the end of day one. And everyone falls over themselves to ensure you're happy. It seems there is no ask that would be too large for them to deal with. In terms of the other amenities, we did not take in the spa. It suffers from being downstairs and feels a bit cramped as if it was in a basement. The gym is small but well appointed. Unfortunately, it's directly about reception and opens quite late. Finally, the hotel makes it easy to get around the island by using a local transfer company. If there is anything that detracts from the experience it would be the placement on the island, which does not afford a direct sunset (although the sun setting behind the nearby hill is incredible). Also, the music around the pool seemed to be repetitive sometimes. All in all, this is a superb hotel in a great location. We'd love to go back next year.

My daughter (12) and I spent a week at the hotel in October 2019. We were looking for a week in the sun with nothing much to bother us but lazy around the pool. The hotel fitted the bill perfect and i got a good deal online. The hotel is spotless and the staff all very polite ect ect . But the overriding memory I have of the holiday is how scandalously expensive the hotel and indeed the whole island is ! and let me add that I am not cheap when it comes to hotels and holidays - I regularly holiday in Saint Tropez and Capri for example. However 9 euros for a bottle of fizzy water was just the start. We easily sent 100 euros a day by the pool on lunch ( one salad, a taco's and french fries ) and a couple of drinks ( none alcoholic !) Then a further 100 euros for dinner in a local restaurant on the beach - average pasta and burger place. It got to the point where I starting to feel I was being ripped off - bearing in mind that this is for one adult and a child. We did have a good holiday and i can't fault the hotel but you need to be ready for the room bill at the end. Sadly this was true in every restaurant we visited. Mykonos is a very beautiful island but I think it needs to take a reality check on its prices.

We yet, receive with mixed feelings your comments with regards to the prices, for which we would like to inform you that Mykonos, being one of the most famous destinations globally, it is considered pricey, yet this is justified by the excellent service standards provided throughout the island. In closing, we appreciate your positive remarks about our hotel in general, we do respect your opinion and take any and all comments as constructive and therefore we want to thank you again for taking the time to review us. Yours Sincerely, Kyrillos Chalkiadakis

My husband and I have stayed in beautiful hotels in many cities in Europe, and enjoyed each one. In our opinion, the Myconian is in a class all by itself. Virtually everything about this hotel is perfect in every way. I've read many of the reviews of our fellow travelers and agree with them all. The Myconian is a 5 Star-Plus.

This Hotel is a real gem - perfect location - 2 min walk to the beach and 10-12 min by car to Mykonos Town, quiet and peacefull. The rooms are amazing, beautifully designed with all required amenities - coffee, tea, chargers. Some higher category rooms have jacuzies and some have lovely plunge pools but all the rooms have an amazing view!! They are kept very clean by the huskeeping daily, including evening turndown service. Breakfast is out of this world - amazing greek specialities mixed with european cuisine , meat cuts, cheeses, yogurts and of course Champagne - you cant leave hungry, the selection is great , not to mention the juces and egg dishes! But the biggest asset of this hotel is their staff - the service was the best I ever had - from the moment you arrive you are treated like the king, nothing is a problem and you will never hear NO. The waiting staff in the restaurant and the pool was top class. Do not hesitate to book this hotel, you will not regret it! They offer a comp airport transfer (it only takes 10-15min) and can arrange taxis for you to town (eur15.00 o/w). We have also rented a car through them (convertable mini at eur70 for a day) which was great. Thank you Myconian Ambassador for an unforgettable holidays, we will be back!!
