The hotel is mainly used by NGOs and government. The location is between government and NGOs officers. As a vegetarian ii is very difficult to get any kind of food. The staff, restaurant and of the hotel hardly speaks English

No lifts and rooms are over 3 floors so you may need to carry bags up the large ornate staircase. The rooms have basic facilities. Towels are thin and threadbare. Bathroom was a wet room, so when you have a shower everything got wet. Sink leaked (you could wash your feet at the same time as your hands.......) Staff do not speak English, so any issues are difficult to address.

Was running a training at this hotel, so I stayed here with my colleagues. It is really run down. The sheets were so thin you could see through them and they had holes in them. Towels were also old. Shower only had hot water sometimes - when the weather was sunny and the hotel not full. I asked for a glass for my room and they brought one that was cracked. They cleaned the room and left it with no toilet paper. Would not stay here again. Training facilities are also poor. Toilets dirty. Restaurant so slow...

Stayed here as part of a group cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia. I see from the prices that it's cheap, so if you're on a tight budget then it's a possible... I'm sure there is better for individuals. Don't be fooled by the grand external look and the lovely wooden staircase and carved doors, the bedroom high ceilings are very ornate.. there is where it finishes. Most of the ground floor rooms had no windows anywhere, there bathroom was a wet room if you could call it that. Our ground floor room had a window overlooking the yard outside, if the curtains were open you could say hello to the neighbours. The bedding was threadbare and the pillows stained, bed rock hard. Bathroom had a bath with a huge crack/hole in bath so if you stood in it, it gave way and that's where any water would disappear. No shower curtain, dodgy hose for shower. Toilet ceramics all broken and sink tap about to fall off. Be wary of huge spiders and gekos in room to keep you company. The room did have aircon that worked but once the main light switched off, aircon goes off and so do all plug sockets... The best thing was the pool, clean and cooling although a short walk across the car park. There is a restaurant also linked to hotel.. food ok. Only alcohol was local beer.
