Just returned from a late summer break to Ibiza staying 5 nights at The Grand Palladium Palace. The hotel is lovely with excellent very friendly staff and good facilities. The food standard is very high and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace overlooking the nature reserve and the Portofino beach restaurant for lunch. There were plenty of sunbeds so no rush to put towels down and there was definitely an end of season chilled out feel so very relaxing. We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 young adults who enjoyed visits to Ushuaia which was amazing and some of the famous clubs. We also enjoyed a visit to Nassau Beach Club on the Thursday night for 'club classics' - great vibe but as with most of the venues in this areas most cocktails are iro 18 Euro so be aware! We also enjoyed a lovely visit to the Old Town which we would recommend. The only improvements we would suggest for the hotel are to replace the bath/shower combo with modern walk-in showers as no one really wants a bath in hot weather and more seating outside the Sports Bar area. Otherwise a super visit and we would return.…
Stayed 22nd Oct to 29th Oct we booked through Jet2 holidays who were very good all round . This was our second visit this time with Daughter son in law and 15th month old grandson. You can use all facilities in both hotels which was excellent Palace or white Island (our grandson loved the trips over the bridge often spotting the planes from the airport nearby).Jorge and the girls on the reception quickly sorted a check in problem and let us stay in the Palace as Jet2 had said would happen even though we booked the white island but honestly both are as good in our opinion. Sports bar was brilliant my son in law loved the live matches. We let Jet2 rep know at the airport we wouldn't be using the coach transfer and got a couple of taxis ,10 euros each taxi, only about 10 mins to the hotel. Food in both hotel buffet restaurants with themed nights was excellent all round if you couldn't find something you liked in my opinion you would be very picky... Rooms were lovely and serviced really well every day with 3 fresh bottles of water replaced each time. Wifi was excellent in rooms and all over the hotel. The Tv in our room had bbc1 bbc2 itv itv2 channel 4 channel 5 not everyones cup of tea I know but we like having it. Daughter used the spa circuit for the 2hr sessions but was disappointed the pool and Jacuzzis were cold. Although there are not as many branded spirits now on the all inclusive list we found the choice was still excellent extensive and value for money. All the staff were excellent with us and are a credit to the company our grandson required eye drops and we asked about a Doctor, they told us this can be arranged for 190 euros where they would visit the hotel, but advised us to go to the hospital via a taxi and check into the equivalent of our A&E department as a much better option , brilliant they organised the taxi and we were sorted within 30 mins, thank you so much again . If anyone needs more information please message me. Another great stay we will be back.…
We were very well served by Alejandro, a very pleasant waiter with a constant smile. Very friendly setting, very good food. The atmosphere is top, the music is not too loud nothing to complain about. Thanks to Alejandro for his service and good humor.
Restaurant really nice if you want to watch sports place to be and good food. We were served by Alejandro Rodríguez. Really good service and really smiley person. He was really reactive and good advisor..
This was a lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived to our transfer at the end all of the staff made us very welcome and were always friendly, polite, cheerful and willing to get us whatever we asked for. Our room with a great pool view was very comfortable and the cleaners did a great job in maintaining cleanliness every day. We mostly used the large main pool which was excellent. There were plenty of sun beds, comfortably spread out and always some available at any time of day. Clean towels were available to exchange at any time. Staff from the pool bar were always close at hand to bring drinks. The animation team worked hard and with great enthusiasm. We particularly enjoyed aquagym. With a different teacher each day there was plenty of variety but the sessions were always good fun and good exercise. The gym was good but very hot so would benefit from air conditioning. We ate mainly in the large buffet. It was never crowded and again the staff were excellent. The food too was great with plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner and a variety of specialist cooking. Evening entertainment in the theatre was very good and we particularly enjoyed the performance of The Lion King. We visited two of three a la carte restaurants. It was very easy to book these via guest services. The first, Portofino provided a really nice meal in relaxed suuroundings - definitely go there. The second, La Dona the Mexican restaurant was the only blip on an otherwise perfect performance. The food was worse than disappointing. Nachos came straight from a Dorito packet with the barest minimum cheese. Roast sweetcorn was soggy and appeared to have just been boiled. Pork ribs were totally undercooked and raw, had little meat an which would not part from the bone. Sweet potato sticks were under cooked and rock hard. Tacos had minimal filling and burrito was uninspiring. We left part way through the main course and finished our meal in the buffet. The chef should be ashamed to serve this rubbish and let the hotel down. Give this a miss. That said, everything else was top notch.…
Such a fabulous hotel… all staff very attentive and pleasant … Alejandro Rodriguez one of the waiters such a happy guy, very efficient and friendly… The rooms, the food , all the staff very friendly … cannot fault any of it… Would definitely stay here again 👌👌👌☀️☀️☀️
Room was alright, and the cleaning ladies made sure everything was clean almost every single day. We had a nice sea view room thanks to Nacho, bless him! Restaurant was nice, the food was good especially the Mexican night with nice fajitas. The hotel is located just far enough for families but not too far away for the ravers. The beach is super close and beautiful. Night time entertainment was great, Ronald and Raquel really give 150%. Gabri and Demi pointed us in the right direction and gave us names from some nice beaches and restaurant to eat paella (restaurant Carmen, Cala d'Hort). Overall a nice Ibiza experience! THANKS
we really enjoyed our holidays in this beautiful hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are old they need to get a touch. the food always fresh and a big choice. the entertainment team was amazing during the day lovely games and fitnessclasses and in the evening they do lovely shows. big shoutout to Demi, Gabri, Raquel and Luis the amazing dancer.
The family and I truly had a wonderful experience at the palladium resort. The hospitality was exceptional and the food at the buffet was delicious. The mini club was an added bonus, the kids loved it and never wanted to leave. Special mention to Maria and Natalia for the face paintings and making us feel welcome, taking good care of our little ones. Night entertainment was very enjoyable for everyone, we also loved trying out salsa for the first time, thanks to Ronalds salsa class! We’ll be back!
Like we mentioned in our last review in White Island, we would love to make a quick review about Grand Palladium Palace. Food and drinks are the same like in White Island. Sports bar is cool! It's like 24hours open and we could watch some NFL games. They have like 2 big pools and one of them got music and all the activities are there. Special thank to Raquel, Marta, Demi, Maria and Gabri. they all stood out! and btw Pico, the entertainment chief came even to speak to us for 20min and told us about his adventures. White island is still our favorite though. Thanks a lot POP team
