We stayed in the hotelroom 574 from 22/12/2021 until 29/12/2021. All the outdoor swimming pools were very cold, according to the Tui book they were al heated. Reception told us , it was broken... Would have been fixed 2 days after we left. Got free use of indoor Spa pool but this was also very cold. In one day we saw 2 cockroaches in de main restaurant, one in the morning and one in lunch. 3 evenings in a row very loud music until 23.15. They should nog place families with a child of 4 years old above amfitheater if they know there are gonna be loud shows... Staff was friendly. Child enthertainment outstanding. Could have been more staff at bars. Only poolbar was open in center. Lobby bar not really cousy. Food very good. A la carte restaurant , they bring starter, main course and desert in about 15 minutes. Way to fast. Alot of improvement possible, payed same amount of summer trip in a much better star hotel. Price overrated.

Maybe one thing that we can complain about was that for 21 meals we had there (3x7days) maybe 2 or 3 things were kinda cold. Rest was amazing. Food was realy good, staff friendly and cooperative, views amazing, hotel clean and safe

We've just come back from a 10 night stay here (December) - we are a family of 2 adults and 1 child and stayed in a junior suite on half board. On arrival: Our flights arrived later in the evening so missed the first day's buffet, but if you email the reception couple of days before arrival, they will keep cold food for you. We checked into a junior suite room on 6th floor with a sea view balcony. they advised us advised to book dinner for every single day through their website. Bookmark their website home page when you check in as you will need it on a regular basis. Junior Suite room: Spacious double bed room and a separate living room space with a convertible sofa bed and a separate single bed. There was a coffee machine and some espresso pods to use for free along with 3 still water bottles. We didn't use the safe but I think you can use it for an additional cost. Bathrooms were spacious and was spotlessly clean. Temp control on the A/C wasn't working but it wasn't a major issue being December temp. There is a hair dryer for use but no kettle or iron. Food & Entertainment: Breakfast was good, they had fresh bread, omelette, pancakes and also fresh fruit juice. Coffee from the machine was average, so stick with tea. Dinner was amazing, they had different menu every single day and lots to choose from. Grill and dessert section were really good with a huge variety. If you are half board, you will need to buy drinks, we were not allowed to bring our water bottles which was a shame. They also had live entertainment every single day of our stay with no repeat, some of them were really good - so keep an eye on the entrainment section on their website/kiosk every day. Location: This resort is well placed on the southern part of the island (Jandia) with walkable distance to the amazing Sotavento lagoon, one of the best beaches on the island. There is also a supermarket and few resturants closeby. There is also a private beach right behind behind the hotel. You need a car if you're planning to explore the island, there is a rental car (pluscar) office inside the hotel. Tips: 1. If you want drinks with dinner, I think full board will be cost effective than half board. Drinks are included only with full board. 2.Remember to book table for dinner every day, otherwise you will be denied entry to restaurant 3. Wifi is quite slow, make sure you have data roaming if you want to make video calls or stream HD movies. 4. No heated swimming pools - so if you are visiting in winter and want heated pools, this hotel is not the right choice. 5. Limited choice for vegetarians, don't buy half board if you're a vegetarian/vegan. 6. Try to go breakfast before 8AM, it gets busier afterwards. 7. I've found booking direct through the hotel website was cheaper than 3rd party. they also have discount codes to use along with 5% extra discount with H10 membership. 8. They have strict mask mandate within the hotel premises including the buffet restaurant and gym. Overall great experience for us and value for money, will definitely come back. Thanks to the friendly staff at the restaurant! :)

- we were checked in with delay at arrival (1h later). - during the 2nd day we found 2 COCKROACHES in the bathroom. I have a phobia so I asked at the reception to change the room in the middle of the night. The gentlemen was kind to offer me another available room for the night without moving the luggage. During that night I searched for other customer feedback on Booking and TripAdvisor and I found that the Hotel has a problem with cockroaches and it was not an isolated situation. In the morning we were asked if we want to move to the new room, but because it was half the size of our original room, we asked for the same standard at a higher floor - instead of lower - because cockroaches reach harder an upper floor vs a lower one. We were given the option to move at -1 floor which we refused as the risk was higher. The reception asked the cleaning staff to use cockroach spray on a daily basis in our bathroom, so for 2 weeks we had to spray it daily. - we asked for a nice gesture for our very bad experience and we were refused. The reason was we were offered the chance to change the room at a lower floor and we refused. In my view, we should not experience this at all, and it didn't matter that we could have changed the room, NO HOTEL SHOULD HAVE ANY COCKROACHES. - Route 66 restaurant was a very bad experience. The food was horrible and I strongly recommend to go to the standard restaurant. You can book this for free for each 6 days of AI, we stood 12 nights and we chose not to use the 2nd free reservation - Very poor entertainment activities. Discriminatory as Italians had dedicated shows every night. - No free water during the day. You need to go to the outdoor pool to get water in a glass during the day. - Very old furniture in the room - Very noisy in the morning as there are no carpets on the corridors – The Hotel has it's own sand beach, and amazing turquoise waters. - we were given a larger room than booked due to availability issues (we did not ask for it, they did not say anything) - some supermarkets are close to the hotel (10 min walk) - some other restaurants or bars are close to the hotel (10 min walk) - the food diversity and quality is amazing - the drinks diversity and quality of alcohol brands included in AI are very good - the size of our room was very good - but this was not the standard room - the staff was very nice; bartenders, waiters - the hotel organizes different activities during the day - paddle field, mini golf, 3 pools, spa, gym, post service, three shops

We were caged in this camp between the dates 20th-27th November 2021. Though we managed to break out half way through having hired a camper van, we escaped unharmed and continued our holiday as free men with nothing more than the surf and the sun to direct us. ENTERTAINMENT: Initially, on check in we found the hotel to be relatively welcoming, very clean and the rooms well positioned, spacious and comfortable. The first night was nice with a 'strip show' in the entertainment hall, this was good fun with free beer and and early night....they have an entertainment group specifically for Italians, its odd, in fact, I really didn't get it, nor did the Italians. It felt as though id taken some kind of hallucinogenic that enabled me to 'see everything I didn't want to see in life' i.e. a 30 stone 5 foot 6" man in spandex miming Brittany spears for example. The following morning the true horror of what lay before us came to light... BREAKFAST: At breakfast the buffet was eclectic and of poor quality, the tables targeted by pigeons stealing food the moment you stood up and piles of bird fescues sprawled across the floors. At times (whilst I was planning my escape) I wondered if they were ex guests who hadn't conformed. Hygiene levels were very low, in fact it became ironic that we were wearing masks at all.. SECURITY: My friend came to join us on DAY 2, he had the audacity to walk to the pool to say "hello" before checking it, he was strong armed out of the hotel batons drawn despite being a guest by the security, who then eyeballed us for the rest of the trip like they just wanted a 'rumble'. LIFEGUARD: We retired to the pool on day 2 to chill, I went to the towel box to collect a towel, only to be approached by an old lifeguard screaming at me as "he was in charge". To his horror I had picked up a towel without a ticket. Large gesticulations followed and the elfin like character squared up to me, I eventually agreed with the 'warden of the north' that id use my own towel and he went about cuddling his towel pile in peace. He was called Jose Ramon and will forever be engraved in my mind when I see a towel. He stared at me every time he saw me in a 'gollum' like fashion protecting his preciouses. AMERICAN RESTAURANT: If you are a good captive you are allowed to dine in the American Restaurant once a week, though you will be interrogated on check in to ensure you haven't eaten there twice. The food is reasonable in there, though this isn't saying much as I'm comparing it to slop elsewhere. POOL: The pools are freezing cold and only swimmable if you are are polar bear or dead. HOTEL MANAGEMENT: We reported all of the above on DAY 3 to INGA the hotel management who was incredible defensive, autocratic and one dimensional, she said we were wrong and the hotel was very focused on hygiene. After realizing we were speaking a 'fembot' we left the office 'walking through a pile of sick' that hadn't been cleaned up and went off to hire the van....ironic All in all, do not stay in this hotel unless you like being in prison and are 80 years old. In which case, probably just go to a UK prison and save the airfare.
