Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and the apartments were very spacious. Courtesy bus into town ran almost every hour and the drop of point was really good for the shops and the marina. Only downside was the night entertainment, not always geared to adults, town only 4 euros in a taxi .

Booked a couple of weeks beforehand as it was a great price for 2 weeks self catering. Arrived at hotel mid evening and quickly sorted by a very helpful receptionist ( Name of Cal ?). He gave us all the information we required and then showed us to our apartment. We dumped our cases in the room and went to the bar/cafe and had a reasonably priced meal with a couple of cheap beers, good service and friendly bar staff. The apartment was huge, separate bedroom, large bathroom and kitchenette, diner and lounge. We had a hob with 2 rings, a microwave, fridge, toaster and a coffee maker, no kettle, but this was soon supplied by reception on request. We were situated on the ground floor so we had outside space with small garden table and 2 chairs, often used a couple of sun beds there as well, nice proximity to the pool and the cafe/bar ! Our apartment was cleaned approx 3 times per week and clean towels provided, bed linen was changed once a week. If you want to hire a safe it costs €15 per week with €10 returnable deposit , the tv remote €10 returnable deposit. Spent most of our time at the beach, never used the hotel pool as it wasn’t heated and many said it was freezing! The shop in the hotel was closed for a week so we found the nearest supermarket about 15 minutes walk down the hill, got our groceries and got a taxi back to hotel, only €3 including tip. A shuttle bus runs to the beach 3 times a day, 10 a.m , midday and 4.30 p.m, used this most days and returned to hotel by taxi as it was so cheap €3 to €4 at most. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the resort to enjoy. To sum it all up, we had a great last minute holiday in a nice hotel at a great price and will hopefully return again, a big thank you to all the staff!

We stayed at the end of february just as the sand storms cleared, the apartments were very clean and comfortable but basic, which wasnt a problem to us. Every member of staff that we encountered were professional and courteous, the food in the bar was nice and the beer cold. We didnt use the pool but the pool/ sun bed area was very clean and you can tell that the staff take pride in there work. Thank you for a great stay

Where to begin..... Freezing cold pool, wind tunnel pool area, fridge didn't close properly so ice in icebox melted, no kitchen knives, no coffee machine, oldest most worn out frying pan ever obviously used to have Teflon on it. Not any more, cupboard doors hanging off, ants all over, no TV remote, obviously a toilet paper shortage cause when we asked for some we got one roll for 6 of us, 6 of us and 5 sets of crockery and cutlery in apartment. And of course the famous beds!!!! Creaky old camp beds!!! Wtf is that all about.. Noisy, uncomfortable camp beds!!! Please invest in some new beds!!! So on our first day a trip to IKEA for mugs, kitchen knives and a cafetiere.. But tbh for the money its actually OK.. Didn't eat in the bar but the beer was ice cold and and not overly expensive.. Luckily we had a car so it being so far out wasn't a problem to us but the walk is nice and taxis are really cheap. The staff we found to be great got us taxis, found us extra pillows and even got us a key cut for the older kids.. Would I return??? Yeah I would cheap and cheerful but a good base for exploring the island from. Does it need a complete refurb?? God yeah it's knackered...

After researching different apartments to stay in Costa Teguise we choose Lanzarote Paradise, partly because of it's good value for money and just wanted a cheap get away in the winter sun. Yes the apartments are on the edge of the resort, but only a 10 minute walk downhill to the nearest supermarket and from there if you continue through Playa Bastian, take a left when you get to the beach and it's a 5 minute walk along the seafront to the main centre. We walked down town most evenings and got a taxi back which was always less than €5. We stayed on the third floor, apartment was huge with nice balcony. Yes there was the odd cracked tile in the bathroom but overall the apartment was pretty clean. Beds were comfortable and as it's in a quite neighbourhood no noise so no issue getting a good nights sleep. read from other reviews before we visited that the lift was broken and was still broken when we there, stairs no real problem for us but for older people less mobile can see it being an issue. We hired a car from reception for 3 days and toured all around the island. Had a look in the onsite shop, shelves not that well stocked and overpriced so I'd advise stocking up in the nearest hiperdino supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Did not drink or eat in the pool bar so cannot comment on that. Only had dealings with reception staff when checking in and booking car hire, found them friendly & efficient on both occasions. I would stay here again, as I said before pretty good value for money and the apartments have everything you need and a good base for exploring the island.
