We stayed for 2 weeks self catering apartment cleaned 3 times a week fresh towels on the 3 days had bbc1 and itv on tv and we were not in serenity block.lovely quiet apartments with mixed age groups everybody respected the quietness required for a relaxing holiday. We left message at reception with a chap on the desk as we were experiencing terrible smell of drains from our bathroom and we were on the top floor everytime we used the sink or shower the room was overpowered with the stench..he said he would let housekeeping know nothing was ever done he did not seem to look interested when i was explaining...also on a negative note i went down one morning to use sunlounger put my towel on the bed as i was doing this i got chatting to another holiday maker so i went to speak to her when a very rude lady came across shouting at me in spanish she went to the board by the pool to point no reserving sunbeds i told her i was here not reserving it simply moved away to chat to the holidaymaker she wagged her finger at me and walked away.if she had stuck around she would have seen i was indeed using my bed...on this note there were gatherings of people in groups of over 4 reserving beds and not using them till late afternoon!! Nothing got said to them!!! Nor towels removed as stated on their notice boards. All in all ok place to stay but watch out for the matriarch of the sun beds ..

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely two week break at this hotel, in a nutshell this lovely Adult only hotel was everything we was looking for - peaceful and relaxing, which was just what we needed. There are two sections to this hotel the quiet hotel side and the even quieter Serenity side, we opted not to stay in Serenity, so I am unable to comment on that side of the hotel. Our first impressions on arrival was impressive. When we book a holiday we always ask for a quiet room and high up and we take this request with a pinch of salt as to whether a room will be available to fit our request. However the lady on reception not only acknowledged our preference but apologised as the room was not ready - it was about 12.20pm when we arrived, it was fine by us and waiting wasn’t an issue. When we arrived to our room it was basic, clean and perfectly fine, it was a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, bathroom with a shower, living area and huge balcony overlooking the pool as well as a sea view. The room was cleaned thoroughly three times a week. We decided we would go Bed and Breakfast, so i can’t comment on the evening meal food, but the buffet breakfast was excellent they had plenty of choice from cereal, fruit, yoghurt, full English, pancakes. Pastries and of course a toaster. As well as offering various juices, teas and coffees. There didn’t seem to serve lunch but you there was a small selection of sandwiches to order at the bar during the day. The pool area is quiet and perfect for relaxing and reading, there is a little back ground music from the bar but it was nice and added atmosphere. The bar is lovely, friendly staff and excellent value. There are plenty of sun loungers so there is no need to reserve them a daft o clock - it’s not allowed and quite right so. The pool itself is cold when you get in but suck it up once you’re in it’s lovely. My only slight gripe with the pool area is if your fair skinned like me and burn easily then shade can be a bit of a premium. The sun can catch you up because Costa Tequise is known for being windy and sometimes it’s deceiving as to how much sun you have had. I would like to give a huge shout out to Luis the animation/entertainment man he goes out of his way to include everyone and organising activities such as Aqua Aerobics, rifle shooting, Boules, Kayaking, Bingo, Quizzes and a Volcano Walk. Thank you Luis”No Pressure “. As for the area depending on how fit you are there are a few bars/restaurants in the area such as Hammonds which is right next door, a lovely English restaurant The Grandfather as well as Cactus Jacks a family oriented bar if your into that kind of thing! But, you can walk down to The Cucharas shopping centre and it leads you to the front where there is a huge choice of bars and restaurants, that would take you ten minutes. Then you have Pueblo Marinero which is about 20 minutes walk and that’s a lovely square. A taxi back is around 4euros. Overall I would recommend this hotel, I don’t understand the various poor reviews but then I guess you can’t please everyone but in my opinion they are being picky. I would just like to say a huge thank you to the hotel and their wonderful staff for being our holiday a fantastic and wonderful experience and a holiday to remember. Jane and Tony.

We stayed for 12 nights and loved the peace and quiet it was so very chilled and relaxing, we were not in the Serenity area. The large apartment faced the pool and was slightly tired but totally adequate for our stay, we were on the top floor and a large balcony which had lovely views of the pool and to the sea. We opted for the breakfast and there was the choice of fully cooked breakfast buffet or continental with selection of cheeses and meats. Fresh rolls, croissants and toast. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal and cakes.... Lots to choose from! The staff in the restaurant and bar are really pleasant and helpful. The apartments are a short 10-15 minute walk from main Square which we found perfect. The is a Hyperdino supermarket a 3 minute walk away and restaurants and bars on the way to the main area. Mi Piaci on the corner is a lovely restaurant with a nice buzz, we ate there several times. Also The Grandfather and El Patio in the main Square were lovely too - in fact we didn't have a bad meal anywhere! A special mention to Luis in the animation team for his activities and information. We tried the french boules, rifle shooting and pool exercises and also the bingo and quiz nights. We enjoyed his sense of humour and fun! Luis also took us on a walk up the volcano one evening which we thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to him for making a memorable holiday. We would stay here again.

Me and my husband stayed for 5 night 21-26th October. For what we paid you cannot fault the hotel, clean and friendly. Rooms were massive! We didn't bother upgrading to Serenity, not sure on what you get extra other than a quieter pool and BBC1 on telly. Bed and breakfast - breakfast was lovely, they had a decent selection. Only fault was no HP brown sauce 😂 Location was perfect for us because we prefer a little walk, nearest shop and bar were directly next to hotel, bars and resteraunts within 10 mins walking distance, main square about 20 mins. Would recommend to anyone, people were lovely and friendly 😊

Review based on one week stay in serenity area with breakfast. We had a lovely relaxing 1 week stay, serenity area was calm and peaceful, just what was required. We had a ground floor apartment, it was clean and had everything we needed, BBC 1 on the TV was a nice touch, i cant really find fault at all with our accommodation. We had breakfast every day in the restaurant and were very pleased with the choice and quality on offer, tables were promptly thoroughly cleaned by the staff when people left. We don't usually book breakfast but so glad we did. The staff were always busy but still retained their smile. We found them to be welcoming and helpful when ever we engaged with them. Cleaners, the pool lad and restaurant staff were all really nice and always spoke. Location... this may not be for everyone, especially if your a fan of 'The Square' (about a 20 mins walk away). We prefer this end of the resort as there are plenty of good quality places near by that's less crowded. I always try and find at least one area of improvement as nowhere is perfect, I'm struggling here so I'm going to have to go with poolside sun bed issue on the serenity side, although this is no fault of the hotel or the staff, just the punters. Watching them descend to claim their spots whilst having my morning coffee always put a smile on my face(for those on the upper floor i can sort of understand). Towels would start going on at about 08:00 and would not get actually occupied till about 10:30. Well done Club Siroco we had a really good time staying with you!
