I booked a week at Club Siroco very last minute when the travel corridor for Canary Islands was reinstated. I am so glad I chose this lovely hotel. All guests were put in the Serenity section of the hotel, which was very relaxing and I found the apartments had great facilities if you did want to self-cater. The pool bar was a lovely relaxing sun-trap in the late afternoon, and although the resort is currently quiet, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk into the resort centre which has lots of excellent local restaurants. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast board, and found the breakfast to have plenty of choice, good coffee and a chilled atmosphere with a nice outside terrace as well as indoor seating. Really glad I found this lovely hotel, and hope to return one day in the not-too-distant future.…
My husband and I booked this hotel last minute as part of an easyjet package when the canaries was removed from the quarantine list. We liked that it was adults only and we were interested in upgrading to the Serenity Area. When we arrived we were automatically upgraded as all guests were put in the Serenity Area due to the covid pandemic the hotel was half empty. We were very happy with this. The room was really good. There was a living/dining area with everything you need to self cater, and there was a sofa bed in that room and also a seperate double bedroom. I liked the hairdryer, soft pillows and the fridge. The hotel served breakfast and the pool bar opened for drinks at 1pm. We would have liked this opened a bit earlier but the bar man who also ran the breakfast room was lovely - Miguel Angel. Such a sweetheart, everyone loved him. All the staff we dealt with were so happy to have us. We felt this throughout the resort but then the news broke that England was going back into lockdown so people had to leave. We asked for late checkout and got it for free as long as we needed, which was so helpful to us with an evening flight home. We feel lucky that we got a trip this year, Weather was good but very breezy! Pegs are a must …
It's a rare occurrence that you check out of a hotel, totally satisfied with every aspect of your stay... but that was our experience with Hotel Club Siroco! The hotel is located in the most easterly part of Costa Teguise, away from the busier tourist areas but still handily placed for visiting the delights that the island offers. My wife and I stayed in a super apartment in the hotel's "Serenity Area": spacious, comfortable and with every possible amenity. Lanzarote has plenty of lovely restaurants and taverns, but it was no problem for us to cook in our apartment on the occasions we decided not to eat out. The hotel boasts a lovely swimming pool (very well-maintained), but it was just a short 5-minute walk to the nearest beach. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets within easy reach of the location, and the whole island was easy to visit by car. Service was nothing short of exceptional, from the reception staff to the chambermaids: efficient, conscientious, kind and cheerful. Full marks for the cleaning, restaurant (although we ate breakfast only at the hotel) and general services. And all this despite the staff having to comply with Covid-19 restrictions (which they did with admirable discipline). All in all, a truly memorable stay. Thoroughly recommended!…
Serenity area as an upgrade is a must . Apart from no air conditioning which can be resolved by keeping patio door open and opening bedroom window up give the apartment a through breeze for hot nights . Sunbeds on either front or back doors for all over sun during the day and 2 very friendly cats on site if your missing your pets . Swimming pool area cleaned hourly and staff are very friendly. Vicki is amazing and very helpful 👏. Thank you will return next year
Booked this as a last minute holiday for 5 nights. Wasn't expecting luxury but was clean which is all i worried about! so was very happy. I didn't upgrade to serenity and was glad i didn't as don't think it was worth the extra. The location was perfect and was just a short walk away from bars and restaurants. Only issue was there is no A/C and the breakfast wasn't nice but was happy to eat out anyway.
