Guests have called out the hotel's convenient location close to the beach and local attractions. We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of June 2024. Myself, my husband, our 2 daughters (4 and 6 months) and my parents stayed at this hotel. We had rooms next to each other with joining rooms which was perfect when you have young children and often need an extra pair of hands. We had a small kitchenette in our room which was great when you have a small baby that needs bottles washed and sterilised. The rooms were clean, spacious and bright. The evening entertainment was incredible, my 4 year old would stay up to 11pm most nights dancing away having the best time. The food was ok, some meal times were better than others, perhaps we are just fussier than the average person. We loved the breakfast every morning with fresh pancakes, churros and eggs. We would have food at lunchtime from the pool bar, and then dinner in the main restaurant in the evenings. I would recommend bringing a refillable water bottle for your children, and perhaps small travel squeezy juice/squash as i found there was no choice of soft drinks for my 4 year old during the day apart from fizzy or a mocktail. So we would put squash in her bottle and refill it at the bar from the water dispenser. Staff are so lovely, special mention to Vicky in the bar! We have rebooked again for this July for a week and cannot wait.

2 adults and 2.5 year old girl travelling 11/06/23-25/06/23. Visited last year a couple of times and returned this time for a 14 night stay.
Overall a brilliant, compact family hotel which we will return to in the future.
Here’s some in depth, honest opinions we had on this occasion.

BOOKING
H10 member (free to join). Booked for 2 weeks all inclusive direct with the hotel on Black Friday week then added Ryanair flights ourselves. In total the holiday was pretty much half price to what Jet2 were offering.

TRAVEL
Taxi cost us €28 from the airport to the hotel on a Sunday evening, only 20mins max.
2 days before departure I asked the hotel to arrange a private transfer back to the airport. €30 cash only and they just book it through first minute transfers.

CHECK-IN
Didn’t bother with online check-in 48hrs before. Hotel is trying to go paperless so all done on a tablet now. Swift process with all documents emailed to you.
Paid €37 euro for a safe (€10 deposit). So many hotels don’t charge for this anymore. In my opinion it’s crazy that you have to pay to keep your valuables safe.
Pool towel cards handed to you to trade for the towels with the lifeguard by the pools. You get extra if you stay longer than a week.

ROOMS
We got our requested room of 118 which is a ground floor double balcony room in the newly refurbished Gran Canaria block. We had this room last September and it’s undergone a small re-vamp with a new bathroom. Bath has been removed and a walk-in shower installed. Hairdryer and amenity kits provided along with shampoo, conditioner, shower gels. New feature of Daisy shower gel and shampoo for the kids in sachets.
New windows and doors in the apartment which feel more secure and new larger TVs. Mix of international channels, British channels include CBBC, CBeebies, BBC1,2, ITV, Sky Arts, PICK, news channels etc.
Being a H10 member you receive a free beach bag and welcome chocolates.
Kitchenette is well stocked and fridge a decent size. Cot is provided and bed guard can be provided if requested at reception. Beds are 2 singles pushed together but comfy. Sofa bed pulls out but mattress is paper thin. Would recommend moving the mattress onto the sofa for extra comfort.

POOLS
3 pools in total. Baby pool which we only visited a couple of times this holiday. Mild temperature.
Main pool with 3 slides. One slide goes into the shallow area which from 10am onwards is pretty chaotic. Plenty of toddlers so this area is where they can all stand so it’s very busy and loud. Once under the bridge where it’s slightly deeper it calms down a little. The pool is cool but once in it’s fine.
Pool behind the pirate ship is heated. Feels like a bath after coming out of the other pool.
Large inflatables I.e lilos and rings are not allowed so don’t waste your money. Small rings/floats for babies and toddlers are ok to assist with floatation.
So many water guns which look fun but you can’t walk in that pool without getting squirted at some point! I ended up resenting them.

SUNBEDS
One of the biggest reasons we return to this hotel is that there’s no sunbed wars. Unfortunately the first morning we arrived towels were left unattended all around the pool we got up for breakfast.
I enquired a reception as to why this was happening and they mentioned I wasn’t the first to bring this issue to their attention and a management meeting was scheduled for that day.
From the next morning the rule of no reserving sunbeds until 10AM was in full affect. One person can stay with the towels if you wish but if you leave them unattended then the lifeguard will bag your towels up to be collected by his chair. It sounds harsh but this does mean there’s no rush for sunbeds and plenty available all day.

FOOD & DRINK
I have one main gripe. The food is only on a 1 week menu so for our 2nd week we were presented with the same food options which was slightly disappointing, yet there was always something to choose.
Breakfast - large selection of pastries, cereal, fruit, cooked breakfast, pancakes etc. Omelette station only every few days, I wish it was daily.
One note for breakfast, it closes at 10:30. We visited at 10am each morning and it always already felt like the staff were trying to clear things away or they didn’t have certain hot foods topped up. If you asked then it was taken care of.
Evening - You’re requested to book your evening meal on the app. We block booked 19:00 for the entire stay but this isn’t strict at all. You can pretty much turn up when you want. The welcoming maitre’d walks you to find a table which is fine but it really slows the process down and at peak times you have queues out of the door. Never waiting longer that 5mins. Extremely busy from 18:30 - 19:30 so the kids can get to mini disco for 20:00.
Snack bar - great variety with burgers, sandwiches, baguettes , nachos, nuggets etc. Pretty quick service.
Drinks - the variety of drinks is undeniably great but the service is quite often slow. On all inclusive you have Estella on tap and in bottles, branded spirits on request if not they will use house spirits. Soft drinks from a dispenser plus in cans you had Aquarius, Iced Tea and Redbull. (Redbull was only available at the pool bar and was constantly out of stock).
Cocktail menu is ok, designed to make them quick and simple. Can ask for them to be made with branded spirits. We were a fan of the Dark Secret. A frozen daiquiri or even alcoholic slushes would be a real hit.
Regarding the service for drinks. The pool bar can be rather frustrating. A lot of the time you turn up and will be served right away but other times we were queuing out of the door or snaking back past the indoor stage towards the pool tables. Once all I wanted was a coke and it took over 20mins to be served, mainly due to some many cocktails being ordered just slowing the staff down.
Self serve soft drinks would be such a welcome addition but I understand they would struggle to police it with so many on self catering or half board.
New self serve water machines were installed while we were there.
No bottled water anymore, they suggest bringing re-fill bottles from home to take back to the room.
The whippy ice cream from the pool bar is to die for!

The staff in the restaurants and bars are incredibly hard working and super friendly. Nothing is too much of a problem and plenty of them want make your little ones feel special.

ANIMATION
I will start off by saying the animation night time shows are brilliant.
We saw Hakuna Matata twice which was superb.
Dream comes true was a Disney based show which was amazing and so was the Radio Show which debuted while we were there.
The mini disco is on for 30mins every night at 20:00. Daisy comes out to the last song and she is swamped by little people wanting high fives and hugs. She’s like a celebrity. (Daisy doesn’t appear on Sunday nights due to skeleton staff).
The day time activities for the adults were really hit and miss. Fitness activities such as spinning, yoga etc seem to go ok, but not so much for tennis, football, waterpolo etc. During our 2 weeks waterpolo should have been on 9 times. It was only on once and it was a case of the animation team member giving the nets and a ball and letting you get on with it. No participation or encouragement for a game. It lasted about 2mins and the few playing there called it a day. There’s no speaker system so they can’t announce the activities. The suggest finding info on the app or the boards but clearly the majority don’t check those so without being told activities were taking place you were none the wiser most of the time. The team members need to walk around and advertise the activities to encourage involvement obviously without any pressure.

KIDS CLUB
I only ever hear brilliant things about the kids club across all age groups.
This holiday we visited the baby club for the first time which is open 09:00-13:00 mon-fri. This is for 6months-3years. I would say my 2.5 year old enjoyed being there but also felt a little old to be there. So many toys to play with, staff are great with the younger ones, especially if any start crying.
The next age group up was 3-5 year olds, we enquired and they said my 2.5 year old could try out the afternoon sessions to see how she gets on as the mornings are much busier. We didn’t bother in the end but the facilities and activities look great.

Another excellent stay here which is welcoming, relaxing and accommodating.

Just returned from a week here and overall we enjoyed our stay.
If you don't like children then stop reading as this place isn't for you, we knew it was a family friendly hotel but didn't expect there would be quite so many young children in November.
The check in was quick and informative and gave a map of the hotel with good directions to our room. The rooms are in several blocks mainly three storey and there are no lifts, so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room in advance.
We were in a suite with a fridge, kettle, microwave, coffee maker and sink with tea towel and washing up liquid and there were two bottles of complimentary water on arrival. Although there was nothing broken or not working in the room it could probably do with a refresh, paint, grout in the bathroom etc.
There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner with a Regional theme each night, the restaurant does get very business early on at mealtimes, after the first day we went down around 9.15 - 9.30 am for breakfast and 7.15 - 7.30 pm for dinner when it had gone a little quieter. The staff in there worked very hard to ensure tables were cleared and prepared again for new diners, special thanks to Dany who was very helpful in providing drinks. If you are not all inclusive you pay for everything except for water.
The hotel grounds and pool areas were very clean with staff regularly cleaning round.
There were plenty of sunbeds in various areas around the pools so no need to get up early to put towels out.
We can't comment on the entertainment as we went out every night.
The hotel is in a good location with the town square a ten minute stroll away, either turn right out of the hotel and follow the main road, or go across the road through the shopping arcade and down onto the promenade.
We will probably return in the future but certainly not in high season when we were told it gets very busy with families.

A lovely week spent with our daughter and two grandchildren at this superb hotel
The staff were very accommodating always with a ready smile in spite of working incredibly hard to make everyone happy
The animation team and set up was amazing very varied programme to suit all ages (big shout out to Sophie and Fredericc )
Reception upon arrival were very efficient
The restaurant had a good selection of food for both children and adults and the staff were excellent clearing away children’s food promptly (Maria and Mou were brilliant)
The pool bar was open 10am till late and the staff there were friendly and efficient
Three pools to suit all ages
We had a refurbished room which was very nice although we wished we had asked for a pool view but we spent so little time in the room it wasn’t really a problem
The children’s mini disco was great fun and my granddaughters can’t stop talking about Daisy !!!!
This hotel was not on our radar as we usually go to H10 adult only but we were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely return with our 2 grandchildren age 6 and 2
The only point I would make is if you are elderly or infirm you would need to ask for a ground floor room as there are no lifts

Dear Pat, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re so glad to hear that you had a wonderful week with your family at H10 Lanzarote Gardens. It’s great to know that our staff, from reception to the restaurant and pool bar, made a positive impact on your stay with their friendly and efficient service. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to Sophie, Frederic, Maria, and Mou – they will be thrilled to hear that their efforts were appreciated. We’re delighted that the variety of activities in our animation programme kept everyone entertained, and it’s especially great to hear that the kids had so much fun at the mini disco with Daisy! We completely understand that you wished for a pool view, but we’re happy to know that it didn’t affect your overall experience. Thank you also for the helpful note regarding accessibility – we appreciate your feedback and will ensure that we assist any guests requiring ground-floor rooms in the future. Brilliant hotel, really clean and tidy - every time we went around the hotel there were members of staff cleaning, gardening, tidying up etc.

Staff were all so friendly and helpful. I'm a wheelchair user and they always made sure I was OK if I was on my own, in the restaurant they had a table set aside for me and helped me get my drinks, offered to help with getting food if I needed and were really lovely without being overbearing or annoying

The accessible room that we stayed in was brilliant - I had room to get around easily, there was a flip down seat in the shower that felt secure and solid grab rails and the patio space outside was lovely

They have a seat lift for the 'adults' pool (the one without the slides, the slides pool does have a sloped entry) which the life guard told us about. We asked at reception to have it put in and then I could use it for the rest of our stay

Reception staff booked taxis for us (I can transfer to a normal car seat but we did have a fully accessible taxi for one journey)

The hotel is in a great area, the way down to the seafront and all the way along was smooth and accessible (if a bit hilly at points), loads of restaurants and cafes around as we didn't have all inclusive and were away with a group so wanted to meet up with them for meals

I ate breakfast there every day and mum joined me a few days (she was scuba diving the others) and the food was excellent, lots of choice - English cooked, sweet cooked (pancakes, churros), fruit and yogurt, meats and cheeses and bread. It was all replenished very frequently so it was always hot and fresh

We didn't have kids with us but all the kids there looked like they were having an amazing time, staff were brilliant with them and there were lots of activities going on every day for them as well as the kids club

We have just arrived home after spending a few days at this hotel.
My 4 and 5 year old children had a great time, everything is designed for the enjoyment of the children and parents. The miniclub is very well organized by age ranges, they do not mix adults and children, so the activities are focused on their age. Mine didn't want to go to the miniclub, but since they tried it they asked us to spend some time there every day.
The truth is that it has been a great vacation, we have enjoyed the all-inclusive and we have had time to do a lot of excursions. We rented a car to get around the island and we have had no problems parking, there is a large parking lot right in front of the hotel door.
At the hotel everything has been facilities, when we arrived they had the room ready before the scheduled time and when we left we were able to enjoy all the facilities and the all-inclusive after checkout until the time we had to go to the airport. If the hotel's occupancy allows it, they let you leave the room later and if it is not possible, they offer you half an hour in a room so you can take a shower and change before starting the return trip.
We made a proposal for improvement through their app and the hotel's deputy director called us to show interest and offer to help us with whatever was necessary.
The entertainment is good and varied and the facilities are very good.
All the hotel staff have been lovely.
Although the hotel was full we had no problem finding a free sun lounger and if you need them the pool staff will find the ones you need.
The food in the restaurant, although good, is not at the level of the rest of the hotel, although the service is excellent and if something runs out you just have to ask for it, they will replenish it immediately.
As a suggestion... Please provide an umbrella for the pool employee who is controlling access to the slides, which is in full sun.
In short, a highly recommended hotel, focused especially on families and with staff willing to help you with whatever you need to enjoy an excellent vacation.

A great hotel ideal for going with children. Slides in the pools and lots of activities for them. Breakfast and dinner phenomenal, varied and themed. All the super friendly staff, from reception to cleaning, restaurant staff, entertainers and lifeguards. Very comfortable location a few meters from the beach, bus to go to Arrecife at the door of the hotel, possibility to hire excursions in the same hotel. They leave you towels for the pool, welcome cocktail, fresh water in the fridge, gift cloth bag. Our room in particular was very good.
The only glues or things that happened to us that we think can be improved: that the third bed (3 people) was a sofa bed and the mattress is finite. A thicker one would be better. The leather sofa in summer very uncomfortable; we had to call reception on the first day because we had no sheets for the sofa bed. The safe is for a fee, which I find absurd, since it's inside the closet. They put 2 toothbrushes and 2 bath towels when we were 3 people and we had to call reception to order another. The person who was cleaning told us that as a rule they only put 2. My review is that they put in towels or toothbrushes as people stay. Inconvenient also having to book dinner from an app that you have to download. That I can understand them asking to reserve so that the restaurant is not saturated. But if you go on vacation, it would be logical not to have to watch the clock. The great entertainment team, varied with lots of activities throughout the day, evening music until 10.30, the restaurant and reception staff super attentive, professionals of 10.

After a hiatus of 4 years since our last overseas holiday we were all a bit nervous and excited to be back in the Canaries on our first visit to Lanzarote. We arrived at the hotel early afternoon and first impressions were very good, very clean and tidy and well maintained gardens greet you as make your way from reception to your room, ours being in the Tenerife block overlooking the pool as we had requested in advance.
The room itself was again very clean and tidy and although perhaps looking a little sparse and outdated in areas like the bathroom was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a patio door to a balcony from the bedroom like I believe some of the larger rooms have as it did appear dark but our budget didn’t stretch to this. The small hidden kitchenette was a nice touch containing a sink, microwave, fridge and a kettle.
We stayed B&B and the breakfasts had absolutely everything you could ask for. We generally got to breakfast before 8 and so it was never very busy and again everything was very clean and tidy with the staff very friendly and attentive.
The pool area though was the real selling point for us. Finding a hotel that number one above all else does not allow the reserving of sun beds is an absolute god send and we wish more hotels would do the same! The pool area itself is fantastic and the slides a real bonus when you have young children. The main pool may not be the warmest but get in and enjoy yourself, it warms up very quickly when it’s 30 degrees and so don’t complain. Yes it’s busy in August but then everywhere is, the main thing is it’s a lovely pool area and excellently maintained by all the staff.
Location is also very good, just a short stroll to the seafront and you are within very easy reach of lots of good restaurants, nowhere within the resort is particularly far away.
Overall we had an excellent holiday and thank all the staff for making sure their guests are well looked after and the hotel is a very pleasant place to stay.

Set in a small resort with a beautiful beach about a 5 minute walk across the road, and a small lively square about a 15 minute walk at the top of road with bars, cafés, restaurants & shops. Outside the hotel is a bus stop for the local bus service it was very efficient and inexpensive to use, get the bus to the Sunday market & Puerto del Carmen for little day trips it's a good way to see the island too. Alot of people said that it was actually very cheap to hire a car there so that is another alternative!
This is a really family friendly hotel with lots of activities to keep the children occupied and a nice homely feel to it.
We stayed in a bungalow room with 2 lovely sun terraces, it had a small kitchenette that is suitable for preparing a snack or cup of tea or coffee, dinning & lounge area with two televisions & a bedroom with a king size bed & bathroom with a walk in shower. The room was spacious and clean it just probably could do with a bit of a refresh of paint on the walls but other than that it was very good.
The staff in this hotel were excellent  lovely to deal with, happy to help and incredibly hard working. We went for the half board option and had breakfast & dinner here everyday. I have coeliac disease and found the selection of food available was very good, you also are given a card to hand to the chef so they can explain to you what dishes are gluten free in the buffet!
A special mention to Maria and the staff in the restaurant they were so accommodating and helpful everyday, they were really lovely people to deal with.
The pool area is lovely with two big pools, a heated baby pool, slides & water features for the kids, ample sun beds with parasols and it's really close to the pool bar for snacks and refreshments. The main pools aren't heated but you soon warm up after a few swims around! The entrance into the kids pool is a little bit slippy so I would recommend putting little ones into swim shoes.
The daisy club / blue team / animation team have the patience of saints and the energy of a small child! They keep going from morning through to the evening shows to keep the kids entertained, the daisy mascot was a big hit everyday, the evening shows were great fun too!
Special mention to Aaron, Megan, Jordaan & Sanne they made our little girl feel so welcome at the kids club.
The weather for the week we were there second week of September was a warm 26 degrees most days with a strong breeze, the breeze is actually refreshing in the heat, it can be cloudy in the mornings but by lunchtime the weather was so pleasant and sunny.
This is the perfect resort for a families, we will definitely book a holiday in this hotel in the future.

We were a prty of 8 inclding 3 young children. We stayed full-board in 3 apartments.

The aprtments were roomy and comfortable - towels, oaps etc provided. They comprised bedroom with king-su=ized bed, lounge, kitchenette, wetroom and balcony.

The complex was great for kids and sunbathers large swimming area and plenty of sun loungers. There was also a weel appointed gym.

The meals were very good - well organised with plenty of tasty dishes to choose from.

The staff were all excellent - friendly and efficient.

The location was ideal for us - 5 minutes walk to the town and the beach.

The climate was very [;easant - between 27 and 31 each day, but with a breeze blowing constantly that kept us comfortable. We had to be careful to use plenty of sun cream to avoid getting burnt.

The entertainment was also very good - discos for the children with DJ and dancers, and very competent musicians by the pool bar.

I was concerned that it might be noisy at night, but this proved not to be the case. The rooms were very well insulated and the entertainment stopped at 10.30pm.

Thoroghly recomment it. The only negative was that ths pools were cold - we had to work hard to persuade our 3 year old grandson to go in.

Hi, Yes there is plenty of room- depending on age of children for how may the hotel will actually let stay in a Bungalow. They are just 1 separate bedroom with an Extra Large bed- much bigger than a King Size. ( One night the 4 of us slept comfortably in the bed)In the sitting room there was a single bed settee and a fold out bed. The fold out bed was a good sized single. My 6 and 2 year old both decided to sleep together in this bed.
