Overall, we really liked this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay. Our room which was an entry level room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, with a view over the garden and pool area. There was plenty of storage, huge comfortable bed with soft fluffy pillows, good powerful shower, good quality soap, shampoo and conditioner, full size powerful hairdryer, clothes steamer, mini bar restocked daily, towels changed daily if required, turndown service. The room was also kept very clean.
The buffet restaurant was good overall with a good and varied selection of food. we felt slightly let down as fish and meat was precooked and not cooked to order as we've experience at other hotels and it could have been hotter. However the dinner plates were always very hot. The food labelling could have been better as some foods on display were not labelled and we had no idea what it was. There were occasions when the breakfast buffet became busy and tables were not cleared swiftly to allow waiting guests to be seated. We did dine in the ala carte restaurants which can be booked 2 days in advance. Samira was ok, nothing special and we felt that it lacked in atmosphere. Capella, we dined there twice and we enjoyed the food. La Garciosa was excellent for tapas at lunch time. We tried the tasting menu on one evening and we were not impressed. It was a very odd menu and we did not enjoy it and it was too chilly to sit outside and the inside was not very inviting.
Excellent drinks and coffee were served from the Ginger Bar and the staff provided excellent service. Wines included in the all inclusive package, were always of a good quality and very enjoyable.
Evening entertainment was good and varied, however we found this to be very noisy if we wanted to sit and chat. There was no alternative quieter bar area, other than to sit outside, but the evening temperature was too chilly for this. There was live entertainment in the outside Alula bar from 4pm - 7pm playing relaxing chilled vibes which we enjoyed very much.
The outside pool area was very attractive and spacious and with plenty of loungers. The loungers were a little uncomfortable and would have been improved with a padded cushion. Plenty of pool towels were also readily available.
The hotel also has an excellent large gym.
All of the staff were lovely and very happy and extremely helpful and provided good service.
We had a few concerns during our stay and we gave feedback to Guest Relations, sadly nothing changed during our stay.
This is a great hotel and could be excellent with a few tweaks. I would happily revisit this hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

In October, together with another couple of friends, we decided to book a week in this hotel to celebrate my Wife's birthday. Never what was more opportune than this decision. Started a little skeptical because not used to this type of holiday for us sedentary and too luxurious, it was a great experience that I would like to do again if and when possible. Original structure, spotless environment, very kind and helpful staff, but never invasive and intrusive, always present but active only if asked. Even the Personnel dedicated to animation, turns out to be discreet, present, but more than anything else dispenses information on the proposed activities, but does not insist and does not involve unless wanted by the Customer. The rooms are spacious, spotless and arranged several times a day, large bathroom and well stocked with personal care products, towels and bathrobes, which you can choose when to replace. The whole structure is continuously kept clean, tidy and arranged, the Staff is present everywhere, each with its own task, but you almost do not notice so much attention is paid not to disturb the Customer, while they are activated immediately whenever they are called into question for a need of the Customer himself. You have an app from which you can make requests if something is missing or there is to replace in the rooms or for your own needs. All inclusive is a real "all inclusive". If you do not have special needs, which are provided separately at a well specified cost everywhere, what is proposed and provided as an all-inclusive is varied, quality and without quantity limitations. Nothing is missing and there is no need to add any extra. In 4 we closed the wallet in the safe on arrival and resumed on departure, without ever missing or being denied anything. I believe that between environment, services, availability, tranquility and food, the money spent is largely offset by what you receive, it is money well spent. In summary it was a pleasant and relaxing stay, which I would gladly do again and recommend to anyone. Thank you to all the Staff and thank you for the attention and surprises you have dedicated to us in addition, on the day of my Wife's birthday. An unexpected extra that you were not required to do and therefore even more successful. Thank you. Robby & Giuly

Overall, a fabulous hotel (all inclusive and adults only). We would unreservedly recommend taking out the additional 'The Reserve' option. This enables you access to all parts of the hotel, exclusive pool, bar and lounge areas (snacks and drinks free all day) with separate reception for check in/out and general services, and for a private breakfast which was of an excellent standard. Service amazing.
Generally, food and choices were of an excellent standard. We weren't overly impressed with the Italian Cappella restaurant, but Samira the Turkish restaurant was truly wonderful. The Ginger Bar and Malva restaurant (the buffet restaurant for all meals for all guests) offered an amazing range of food of a really high standard. Alcoholic drinks served with meals was of a high quality, often known brands. Local wine was served from all bars/restaurants, but if you ask for the Clamore wines, they are fabulous.
The Reserve pool area is outstanding for appeal, cleanliness and quality of sunbeds, which were all replaced the day after we arrived. Pool Bar food is fine, but gets busy at lunchtime and often takes a long time to be served. We often went into Malva, for speed and quality of food, for lunch. The other pool area was busy, windy and doesn't have an even surface. Not to the standard of The Reserve pool, but larger, close to the main dining/bar areas, more noisy and exposed. View is over the public beach, shopping area and bay with watersports.
Public toilets could do with cleaning a little more regularly and aren't the best either around the pools or in the hotel. The one drawback of staying there.
Rooms are of a high standard with large balconies, although a confined space, due to the design of the hotel. Spotlessly clean, regular changing of towels and bed linen, and a plentiful supply in the room bar.
The hotel is located 17 minutes drive from the airport. We picked up a hire car from the airport for the week of our stay - best quality of cars, value and service we've ever had in any of the Canary Islands - and it was a real bonus when the weather was poor, which it was for all but one of the days we were there!!
In summary, we highly recommend the hotel and location - there are long promenade walks and plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The public beaches are quite small, but well maintained. Had we had the usual warm, dry weather, our holiday would have been nearly perfect!!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at the hotel with the option of "the reserve" and on an all inclusive basis. On arrival, having available spare rooms of superior quality, instead of making us an upgrade (as has happened in other hotels of the same category) we were offered the room with additional cost. We already found this inelegant. The location is quite good, at the foot of a small beach. You can tell that the hotel is recently renovated but things were left unchanged, such as room doors, bathroom furniture, elevators... and that makes it not end up looking like a hotel "like new".
The cleaning in general fine, but we found a cockroach in the room and then had another run-in with these little bugs that I will discuss later
The variety of food fairly fair and medium quality, nothing otherworldly for this type of hotel. There is a buffet for 3 meals a day and then 3 optional themed restaurants for dinner, and in one of these 3 you can also eat at noon a la carte, being able to order everything you want if you have everything included (this restaurant was the one we ate in almost every day, it is the highest quality of food and others with sea views.
As for the food as well, my wife is celiac, and in all the letters there is at least one mistake regarding the allergens referred to wheat, apart from the great lack of control and ignorance that they have in each and every restaurant regarding the control of allergies, each waiter told us different things depending on the day, then the cooks "contradicted" them, and so everything, quite bad the management of the allergens.
As for the service, well... dinner in the Italian restaurant, a cockroach appears around our table, no one sees it, we warn, one of the waitresses steps in front of us and leaves the body there in our sight and no one comes or deigns to collect it, anyway.
In short, many things to improve to really earn the 5 stars, but it was also a pleasant stay on a beautiful island such as Lanzarote.

I am reviewing my stay at Suita The Reserve in April 2024. The hotel is excellent in terms of cleanliness, choice of rooms, nice and helpful staff, location, activities (yoga, pilates in beautiful surroundings), relaxation in peace and quiet. The room we received was beautiful, large (50 meters) with two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, excellently equipped with a steam ironing device and a basket for the swimming pool or the hotel beach, and very comfortable with a terrace with a jacuzzi and a second terrace with deckchairs. The aesthetics of the room and the entire hotel are very beautiful and calming. A perfect hotel for rest. The only inconvenience was the quite loud music played in the swimming pool at 5 p.m. I highly recommend The Reserve zone... a very nice rest with cold snacks and good alcohol... and most importantly, no music or noise. You can read a book or work in very comfortable conditions. The only thing I have reservations about is the food. Unfortunately, the food is not at the level of a 5* hotel in Turkey, for example Ela Exclusive Belek. It is tasty, but unfortunately there is a lack of variety - there were often empty platters that were refilled after a while; dinner in the form of an a la carte menu was very average, although there were two restaurants to choose from (main and Spanish), the menu was the same all the time. Excellent Spanish meats and cold cuts. For vegans, unfortunately, there was a very poor choice, all the vegetables were dripping with fat. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and would love to come back

Well we are only a few hours off from checking out. We had high hopes and were not disappointed 😊 We have had such a relaxing week, with on the whole great weather. Our room was a ‘Premium Resort View’ but we ended up having a view of the sea too 🌊 The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day and the turn down service at night is a lovely touch. The pool is salt water so can be cold initially but was a welcome cool down during warmer afternoons! Food highlights for us was La Gracisosca both tapas at lunch time and the evening set menu. The evening menu was our personal favourite. We did also try Capella and Samira. We enjoyed Capella but were underwhelmed by Samira. Personally we found it lacked atmosphere and the food wasn’t anything to write home about. The buffet selection was inconsistent at times and perhaps wasn’t as refreshed as often as it could be. I wonder if they are short staffed at the moment as service in the bars can also be slow. For us we found lunch time better than evenings at Malva. Entertainment is low key at night but that suited us. You can wander out to the ‘square’ in Costa Teguise which we did a couple of times. Overall would we come back and would we recommend? Yes 👍 Have a fabulous holiday to those waiting to arrive ☀️

Not the best holiday I’ve had compared to other 5*s within Europe I’ve been to but I did have a good time.
A few cons or improvements were that I was sick for the first few days which really put a dull on my holiday with my partner (I know it’s completely out of the hotels control!). I suffer from a serious nut allergy and not all the food at the buffet has labels therefore it is a massive hazard to those with dietary requirements or allergies. I also thought that the buffet food was mediocre and very same-y. At the Spanish I spoke to a member of staff about my allergies and he accommodated very well, however I assume a mix of messages happened throughout dinner as I was brought a dessert that was not suitable for my allergies which I would not have expected after discussing my allergies beforehand. The cabanas around the pool I think are very expensive as this isn’t a cheap holiday as it is. Beds starting from €60 a day. The music from the beach bar was quite loud from 5-7pm which is the time I like to relax before getting ready for dinner but I was one of the closest rooms opposite the entrance across the pool.
Time for the pros!… wonderful salt water pool and a great selection of beds while I was there. No service at the pool but not that much of an issue as the shack bar is only a short walk from where we were sitting. The cleaning of the room was immaculate and at around 6pm cleaners knocked to ask if we wanted some chocolate and a turn down service. The spanish/local cuisine was lovely for lunch and a set fish/meat or vegetarian menu for dinner. The shack bar and gingers drinks, food and service was slow at times but tended to be at busy times as expected otherwise very quick and efficient. The sup Pilates was amazing and a massive shout out the entertainment team Ramon, Raquel, Armando, Laura and Sandra who were very lovely and great at getting us involved with classes and any help and advice. A number of shops are a short walk from the beach exit with great souvenirs and towel clips for the sun beds when it’s windy. The staff are all lovely and try to help whenever they can.
A personal tip for those with allergies or intolerances is to download the Meliá app from the App Store so you can view the menus before hand which outline allergens in each meal which the main menus given don’t.

We booked this hotel for 7 nights in September 2024 and chose a double room with sea view. The reason for the booking was the advertised hotel standard 5*GL and the location in the central area of the island, as we had already spent 4 days in the south of Lanzarote. An evaluation is made on the expectations of an outstanding hotel standard. Our expectations were met and partly exceeded. Location: Located directly on the sea, smaller beaches are nearby. Shopping, restaurants and bars available in the area, however this area of Costa Teguise did not meet our expectations. Parking was ample, the parking is only accessible to hotel guests. Hotel: The hotel itself is a sight to behold, the interior is designed in paradise and conveys a tropical flair. The pool complex with saltwater pool is also elaborately designed and makes you want to swim. Rooms: There don't seem to be any rooms facing the street. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Stock on the Lee side, so the strong wind from our balcony was not felt. The balconies are arranged offset and protect against prying eyes. The rooms are spacious and attractively furnished, the toilet is separated from the bathroom. Remarkable is the storage space for clothes, it just lacks space to put the suitcases. We were dissatisfied with the bed and had the feeling that the soft mattress in the edge area gives way more and when you get up you have the feeling of falling out of bed. Catering: Varied cuisine on a "star level". The buffet restaurant conjures up culinary highlights every day, which are presented in an elaborate manner. Just walking along the buffet is a gourmet experience. The food in the a la carte restaurants is also good, but not to the standard of the buffet restaurant. Exception is the beach restaurant, where tapas are offered for lunch and menus for dinner. The atmosphere and the sea views alone are a reason to visit here. The food also reaches "star level". Summary: Excellent gourmet experience, but we didn't like the environment of the hotel, so we wouldn't visit Costa Teguise again. We were particularly impressed by the service and staff. Here, the hotel manager seems to attach great importance to a pleasant working environment. You get the feeling that the staff like to work here and have fun at work. This also translates to the guests. As good customers of Melia Hotels, we both achieved the Gold Standard. Nevertheless, this was the first time we had the feeling of being disadvantaged compared to other guests. This has been clearly noticeable, for example, in restaurant reservations.

Overall a lovely, relaxing and pleasant stay at the Paradisus. I personally thought it was a little bit overpriced for what it was, but my partner thought it was perfectly priced, loved it and wants to return, no doubt we will at some point in the future!
Positives Reserve pool, very quiet and peaceful - the pool is strange as its freshwater so very buoyant, but didn’t find it as cold as others have described Breakfast - much preferred Malva for breakfast to Reserve as the overall choice was fantastic Lunch (and overall service) at the Reserve pool - just absolutely fantastic! WiFi coverage excellent the throughout the resort Room was beautiful, beach bag was a nice touch for getting pool bits together, also appreciated the wine and rum in the room upon arrival.. and the nightly chocolates on the pillow! Staff - just excellent! Housekeeping - the room was immaculate! The Italian - just perfect (although we did wonder why the veranda wasn’t open? Would have been lovely to eat outside overlooking the sea) The outdoors indoors feel - just the typical “Melia” feeling when entering the hotel The hotel is on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle - but it was a beautiful walk into Costa Teguise at night - there is a market on 2 nights a week and it does get incredibly busy
Suggested Improvements: All exits working - Getting into the coastal path was a bit confusing, some gates didn’t open Food offering and labelling - Malva (all you can eat) in the evening became a bit “samish” after a while - yes there were changes, but they were minimal. Found the food to be poorly labelled - I fully admit I’m a picky eater so unless I knew 100% what it was, I didn’t touch, I got by, but for you picky eaters out there… beware! Coffee in Malva - just ditch the machines - the coffee is tasteless - personally would prefer getting a coffee pot on each table in Malva like in the Reserve Melia Circle - I’m afraid I may have come across as rude but I’m on holiday, not there for an upsell Mocktails - nowhere to be found on the menu which was a shame, alcohol and sun isn’t always a winning combo Turn down service - perhaps it was where our room was located, but felt 6.30 for turndown service was a tad early as restaurants didn’t open til 7 - we missed some of turndowns as we were in the room getting ready - just seemed a bit odd The room TV - when abroad, I like to stream via my phone (be this via WiFi or through plugging in to HDMI) however this was impossible as ports could not be accessed and the features were unavailable, so limited to 3 channels with English content (yes I’m one of those who falls asleep with the tv on)
Overall a great stay and we will be back

Enjoyed a short break at this hotel a short walk from the centre of Costa Teguise. The hotel atrium is very striking with plenty of greenery and running water. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is kept immaculate. The rooms are large and well equipped and maintained, there is a minibar which is restocked daily. We upgraded to the Reserve which allows access to an exclusive pool and lounge. The sun beds around this pool are very comfortable and plentiful. The lounge has a selection of premium drinks in the evening and you can have an a la carte breakfast. We eat at the a la carte Middle Eastern and Italian restaurants which were both very good, we did not eat at the Spanish restaurant so I can’t comment on that. The main reason we didn’t eat there was that they had fixed tasting menus in the evening which didn’t suit us. I have to say that the main buffet restaurant was disappointing, there was a good selection of food but the hot food was often dried out under heat lights. Service in the bar could be slow but again there was a wide selection of drinks available.

Dear Mr. 9grahamc, Thank you for sharing your experience of your recent stay with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed our beautiful atrium with its lush vegetation and flowing water, as well as our location near Costa Teguise. It is great to know that the spacious rooms and daily minibar replenishment contributed to your comfort, and that the upgrade to The Reserve enhanced your relaxation with access to the exclusive pool and lounge. We appreciate your positive comments about the a la carte restaurants Samira and Cappella, and understand that the fixed tasting menu in the Spanish restaurant does not suit all tastes. We also appreciate your comments about the main buffet and bar service; we will look into ways to improve these areas to make the guest experience even better. Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back soon for another wonderful stay. Yours sincerely, Chloé Binham Guest Experience Manager

Hi, we stayed last June, we didnt upgrade as the Premium Double Room with Balcony/Terrace facing the beach was perfectly fine. Also, the evening entertainment (some live music/acoustic guitar) is on the side of the hotel that is for ALL guests, so those in the Reserve come over to our side. We've just booked to go back later this year.
Dear Colsy8,
Premium Resort View rooms overlook the main pool and are located on floors 1 and 2.
I hope I have been able to help you.
