This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was clean, peaceful and incredible location. If you want a quiet getaway this is perfect. The staff were great and on arrival gave us a bottle of bubbly in our room as a congratulations. Our room was a Sea View Superior and the view we woke up to was amazing. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was huge and comfy! The food was actually a good standard for a buffet style and everyday was different, highly recommend the Piazetta for lunch overlooking the beautiful beach. This is not included in the price but this is still very reasonable. The drinks prices in the hotel are acceptable and with dinner you dont mind spending a few euros but we took a 15 minute walk to the super market(not open sundays!) to get some supplies and a taxi back (4 euros).

My wife & I chose the Royal Palm for our holiday after searching for a relatively low key hotel where we could just relax & do nothing. I was recovering from a broken hip after a cycling accident so wanted somewhere just to chill out & relax with a bit of sun. Safe to say we chose well, the hotel offers everything we wanted from our planned trip. Arriving at around 10pm, we were greeted at reception with a glass of sparking wine, & checked in quickly by a very polite & friendly receptionist who informed us we had been upgraded to a full sea view room as it was our wedding anniversary whilst staying there. We were also told that the restaurant was staying open for the late arrivals, which was very welcome, & a sign of things to come as the food throughout the week was excellent, great choice & all well cooked & presented. Once we had eaten, we made our way to our room. Others have mentioned that the hotel is quite large & its easy to get lost.....we had no such problems & the layout is quite logical. Arriving at our room, it was nice to see our bags had been delivered to our room already by the porter. Room was huge for a relatively standard room, bed was enormous, around 7ft wide & very comfortable. Bathroom, is very well equipped, walk in shower, which had good pressure, water was always hot. Towels in the bathroom were change every other day but if you wanted you can have them changed every day. Room also has tea/coffee facilities which is restocked daily free of charge & a fridge. A safe is also included at no extra charge. Wifi throughout the hotel is also very good, we had no problems streaming Netflix etc. Air con seems to auto switch off around 12.15am Pool towels are also provided free of charge & can be changed daily if required. First morning, the view from the balcony was amazing, (see photos) its a view we never got tired of looking at or photographing. Breakfast again is a treat, so much choice, all fresh & tasty. Plenty of seating with no pre allocated seats, just take you pick. Staff all friendly, & work so hard to keep everyone happy. Breakfast times of 7.30 to 10.30 is enough to suit most people, but you can also get an early or late service if needed, I'm guessing this is more a continental one though. Pool areas, are all spotless, as is the rest of the hotel, the cleaning staff are working non stop to keep the place tidy, but you hardly ever see them. The service we received each day was fantastic. Indoor pool is also available, along with a small jacuzzi, gym is also well equipped with the usual machines & a selection of weights. Spa is next to the gym, as is the sauna & steam room which is chargeable. Access to the beach is via a gate at the bottom of the hotel, you can walk for miles (tide permiting) nearest shop via the beach is around 20 mins (1 mile) for all you essentials. A further 1.5 miles you arrive at the next town of Morro Jable, certainly worth a visit, plenty of bars & restaurants along with a good selection of shops. On site evening entertainment is mixed. We enjoyed the casino evening, but most of the music nights we avoided. There are plenty of daytime events & classes going on, an itinerary is posted around the hotel, plus each morning at breakfast a newsletter is handed out which we found useful, it also tells you the tide times. Couple of notes for people thinking of booking, there are quite a few steps from the top of the hotel to the beach access point as well as the lower pools. However I didn't have a problem with them, plus there are lifts available if required. Drinks, whilst a little expensive, are not outrageous. This is a hotel after all, & most charge more than the local bars would. As an example a large beer was €5, cocktail €9.50 & a bottle of wine is between €20-€30 Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Royal Palm for a relaxing low key holiday.

We booked this venue precisely because we wanted a quiet location. The hotel is enormous and kept spotlessly clean. Our room was huge, as was the bathroom. Our spacious balcony did not have a sea view-no problem, your choice if you want to upgrade. The pools were, as expected, pristine and loungers and umbrellas were in abundance. A path leads from the lower pool area to the sandy beach. A very easy and enjoyable walk takes you to Jandia-check tide times. Food at the hotel is fresh, varied and plentiful at breakfast and dinner. Delicious. The TUI reps were great as the activities they ran were varied but there was certainly no nagging from them for you to participate. Jana’s pilates, yoga etc were very enjoyable as was the walks to the lighthouse and up the mountain near the hotel. Entertainment was low key and, when we were there, not particularly well attended but each to their own. It was a very relaxing week and we would certainly recommend the hotel

We have visited Fuerteventura on many occasions but this was the first time we had stayed in this hotel. The hotel is very modern, clean and the location is stunning. The food was varied with some vegetarian options and excellent for a buffet style restaurant. Water is sold in the lobby bar or you can reach the supermarkets if you walk along the beach in either direction (check when the high tide is). It is easy to get taxis back. Please bear in mind that there are very few bars, restaurants or any entertainment available outside the hotel. There is a doctor who attends the hotel daily. The care i received from Dr Yisel de la Torre Fernandez after a tick bite was superb, especially given the allergic reaction I suffered from the prescribed drug for tick bites. The only downside is that the hotel entertainment was appalling and the price of hotel drinks is expensive. Most people we talked to bought in wine etc from the local supermarket and drank it on their hotel balconies. Also, we received little help when we arrived and spent ages finding our room when we were tired and hungry. No porter available to take our cases. This gave a very bad first impression. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel but used the free coach transport at the end of our holiday. Coach driver on No 73 on 18.06.19 frightened the life out of us as he took bends too fast and tailgated other drivers. In future we will stick to taxis each way! Special thanks go to Jade, who was part of the entertainment team, Lucia, who was the only cheerful waitress in the restaurant, and most importantly, to Dr Yisel de la Torre Fernandez for her superb care of me.
