Aegeo spa is amazing, the therapists are giorgos, Sofia, vasilis, Maria, fotis they are amazing, the resort is lovely, we stayed in the suites which is quieter and further away from the main resort, The entertainment is mainly aimed at children, the bar in the suites on a night is very boring, a lot of people just playing card games, taxis into the town are €10, drinks in the town are very expensive but well worth visiting, some bars that I would recommend are the bands, stone roses, also food at tasty corner is amazing and the bar staff at the hotel will place an order for delivery for you.

Stayed beginning of June 2019 for one week travelled as a family of 3 - Upon arrival which was around 4am after a long day travelling with a 2 year old I found checking in really stressful there was one person on reception allocating the rooms I felt this could have been handled in a more time efficient manner I was waiting well over half and hour we were the very last in the que to check in and the only family with a young unsettled child. After struggling to find our room by ourselves with plenty of luggage and a toddler to carry (We were not offered any help) First impressions of the room weren’t good it smelt really damp and was very dated and could have done a general uplift. Carpets and bedding were very old and stained our room consisted of two single beds (pushed together) and no bed for my two year old daughter to sleep in. No cot / pull out bed were allocated to us although they would have known there were three of us booked into this room so she had to share my bed. The bathroom was very small and definitely not a family sized bathroom. I was really disappointed but didn’t want this to spoil the holiday. After a few hours’ sleep we managed to head out to the main lobby / Pool area which I thought was also run down and could do with a re vamp all the way through. I would not class this hotel as a 4* it’s definitely more a 3* after staying in another Atlantica 4* hotel in Crete this did not compare to the standard we had there. Bar staff / Restaurant staff were really pleasant and the drinks were okay what you would expect from an all-inclusive as was the food in the buffet although very repetitive and not much choice from the kids section all-round the food was okay. We also ate in the Greek/ Italian restaurant which had the exact same foods in the main buffet so no different. There seems to be very few toilets around the hotel grounds for the size of this hotel and have no baby changing facilities which I find unacceptable in a family hotel. We were also hit with a bill the night before departure as the hotel charge a tax for the duration of your stay. I think this should be explained when checking in or by TUI upon booking the holiday to avoid any further unexpected charges. Would also not recommend staying on the ground floor it was very noisy people were making lots of noise early hours of the morning which woke us up a few times. We also enquired about keeping our room on the last day as we had a very late flight (3:30 am departure) the hotel wanted to charge us 78 euros to keep the room until 6pm I thought this was very expensive.

Stayed here at the start of June, it is a very clean hotel don’t see any rubbish around the pool/beach. Was always able to get sunloungers around pool. Although it is out of the town, it being located on the beach is great as you get your sun-loungers for the day. Taxi to town is €10 but if a few of you sharing not too bad. The breakfast and snack bar food was lovely, dinner not so good but could always find something to eat. Enjoy that you can book at the italian and greek restaurant for something about different. All staff at all bars and restaurants were really nice and attentive. Only problem is the drinks are so strong and served in little cups. All inclusive is on until 1am which is a bonus. Rooms are pretty basic but clean, double bed is very large and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay here.

Me and my boyfriend and another couple booked to stay in this hotel at the start of June 2019 with TUI. I’ll start by saying I did really enjoy my stay at this hotel but there is a few improvements needed. Check in was very disorganised and made us fear that the rest of our stay was going to be disastrous. We arrived at 4am and wanted to be checked in ASAP after being very tired from travelling. It was a big group of us checking in and only 2 men on reception handling us all, we gave our names and were told to wait until everyone else was checked in to be given room keys and shown to our rooms, meaning we had to wait 20 mins, then we were taken on a golf buggy to another part of the hotel and dumped in the second reception for another 20 mins, eventually we were shown to our room at nearly 6am. The room was very nice as we were in the back end of the resort which I think is newer so we had modern and nice rooms, but I do know some rooms are very dated and was thankful we wernt put in one of those. However, there is no safe in the rooms which I find ridiculous for a 4 star hotel!!! We asked at reception and were told if we wanted a safe we had to move to one of the older rooms. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, really lush green grounds and the pool areas are beautiful and really clean, the beach for the hotel is also beautiful with loads of sun loungers, although there was a lot of reserving going on! The staff were all really friendly and helpful for the rest of our stay apart from one really rude waiter called George or Georgio in the main restaurant who made us feel really uncomfortable. The food is okay, not great. Find it a bit misleading how the hotel advertises 3 different restaurants main, Greek and Italian, but you are only allowed to book into the Greek and Italian once in your stay for free and have to pay for any other times, which is not great when you have paid for all inclusive and isn’t clear on TUI website. There is stray cats running freely through out the restaurants also.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, it’s location is beautiful having its own sandy beach with sun beds to use everyday. We found this hotel very calm and relaxing, taking two young children the hotel was perfect for a chilled out holiday. There was a large range of different foods, different themes each night so there was never the same food each day. The staff here was all very friendly and brilliant with children. The all inclusive drinks were nice serving lots of different local spirits and a lot of different cocktails. The only thing we could fault with the hotel is the rooms and reception could do with a re-vamp and there was no stage or real entertainment area so there was restricted views when watching the entertainment each night but this did not affect our holiday as the beach bar was a lovely setting to sit at each evening with the park next to it for the children to play. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone we enjoyed every minute of our stay here!
