NUMBER OF ROOMS
Enjoyed my stay here, it is near to shops and beach and harbour , a nice pool and the non cooked breakfast was fine ,staff friendly ,room clean . a few things needed updating like the shower curtain arrangement which was far too big for the tray so the floor got drenched, a kettle in the room would have been handy , WiFi was patchy Not just this hotel but like many others there is a charge for a safe , no charge for a lock on the door so why a weekly charge for a place to keep valuables?, basic security should not be an extra it should be a duty of care
Booked last minute after the collapse of Thomas Cook, pleasently suprised by this clean friendly hotel. Rooms were a good size and cleaned well, the pool bar and snack bar are reasonably priced, all staff were very welcoming, overall a nice place. the sister restaurant the Almo has a basic menu but with some nice specials, and a 20% discount for guests at the Cleopatra Hotels
This hotel is in a great location, minutes from the centre of Kardemena and the beach. As a solo traveller I felt extremely safe wandering around and went for a 4 mile stroll along the sea front each morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Georgia on Reception. On arrival at the hotel for a late night check in, there was quite an unnecessary queue due to staff going through all the shpeel re breakfast times, hotel facilities, location of amenities etc.... this could be alleviated by a simple hand out given to guests to peruse in their room. Breakfast was the usual cold continental affair but a cooked breakfast could be purchased for 3.50 Euros in the Hotel's, beach front Restaurant, The Alma. The bar prices were fair, although the price of food/pool snacks was brilliant and extremely good value. The Hotel was spotlessly clean including the rooms, communal areas and pool. Nice soft comfy bed with quality linen and towels, changed regularly. Yes, having a shower is a faff but its typical of a budget Greek hotel. I would advise taking your own hairdryer if you have long hair as the one fitted in the bathroom cuts off every minute or so making drying long hair a lengthy process. I had to wrap a towel around the hairdryer's handle as it got too hot to touch. I was unable to keep my room on for my return night flight as it was booked but there are shower facilities and you are allowed to take a towel from your room to save you having to pack your own damp one. All in all, a great hotel in a fantastic location, with friendly staff who will assist wherever they can. Like many others, I too will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.... a fantastic budget holiday :-)…
enjoyed our stay, well kept hotel, staff were great the hotel resturant by the sea only a short walk away (dont forget the voucher from reception) for breakfast or you can enjoy breakfast in the hotel itself pool snacks were also good, hotel reception was helpful all in all cant really complain about anything!!!
Just got back from another lovely visit here. Stayed in room 208; beds really comfy and rooms always clean and immaculate. Sad to see a lot of the staff we knew had moved on but what a lot of really lovely new staff you have there: reception staff so friendly and kostas so welcoming and always suggesting nice places to eat. Pool is too cold for me but the sea was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach most days. Good really good at bar and we only ate breakfast there one day but was also very good. Highly recommend this hotel and certainly plan to visit again soon.
