Having just left this hotel First thing I would say is the location, you can’t really get any better, the staff were very good, the hotel itself is a bit dated, there’s not enough beds around the pool and you have to pay for ones on the beach. The rooms are pretty average, but I think generally most Greek accommodation is average unless it’s a new build. Now we were AI but we only booked that has it wasn’t much more expensive than some other SC. So I wasn’t expecting the food or drink to be great ,and didn’t go with the intention of staying in the hotel, and the drinks and food we basic,it’s not really a AI hotel ,probably only been doing it a couple of years, the counter was smaller than a carvery counter in your local Toby. If your going to go and eat and drink there you’ll be disappointed if your used to AI,and it’ll be a waste has there’s loads of good restaurants on your doorstep. I’d not go again, but I’d definitely return to kardamena.

The staff here are amazing!. They work so hard!, Service is excellent. Generally very well run. Our room was modern, bright and airy with a superb sea view (we were situated in the annex building)). The location is perfect, right on the beach and in the middle of town too!. Just a couple of negatives.. there are not enough loungers around the pool, be prepared to be waiting poolside 08.30am if you are planning a pool day...the quality of drinks available on the all inclusive package is not great (recommend biying your own mixers etc from the Supermarket). Despite this, we would highly recommend and are planning to return!.

We have just returned from 1 week in Kos booked through last minute.com Firstly, the booking process, payment etc went smoothly so did the flights and transfers. However, there was a major mistake at the hotel – which effected part of the first 2 days of our holiday. We booked and paid for a quad room (3 adults and 1 child: myself, husband, 15- and 9-year-old boys). On arrival at the hotel at nearly midnight we were sent to a room with just 2 beds in! I went straight to reception to be told they had no other rooms, and the hotel isn’t set up for families and they don’t have rooms for 4 people! I was then given a second room for us for that night until they could investigate it in the morning. Our 9-year-old got extremely upset at being split up so as not to upset him further we ended up sleeping with 3 in a bed (well not sleeping at all as the bed was uncomfortable and no room to move). I was told to go to reception in the morning – I was greeted with a middle-aged lady who told me it was completely her fault as she had swapped rooms and didn’t notice it was for 4 people!!! I was told to go back before lunch at 12.30 to swap rooms. The room was nice but the “put me up bed” and “sofa bed” for our boys were both so uncomfortable for our 1 weeks stay! double bed was awful too! Definitely not what we paid for! This hotel was clearly not set up for families! Day 1 and 2 were very stressful out of our 7 day stay. It was also not part of the hotel - it was a separate building next to the main hotel - very run down. Sea view was the best bit. Also there was now shower head wall mounted bracket - we had to hand hold it and keep putting it down to wash hair and body! Our bathroom was nothing like the other nice photos on here - looks like some and definately not all have been refurbished. As for the location, this was perfect right on the beach and gorgeous town. The food was lovely and a good variety (and I am a fussy eater). The majority of staff were very friendly. All inclusive has a very limited bar and no ice cream for children sadly. Safe is 30 euros for the week and sunbeds are 10 euros for 2 per day. We thought we had a good deal - all in all lovely holiday - what's the saying "you get what you pay for"? definately true of this hotel.

We were a party of 4, 2 adults & 2 teenagers. A fab 10 days away! Beautiful spot right on the beach. Rooms were immaculate & cleaned 3 times whilst we were there. Great selection of food at every mealtime, something for everyone. Staff were all lovely & worked so hard. We would definitely return.

Arrived late and put in a separate building which resembled a hostel. My brothers room was not clean so they moved him and his wife to the main building. This was 2am as our flight was delayed. They moved us the next day with an apology from the receptionist Marsha who offered us lunch and dinner on our check out day. When asked for this Marsha did not remember and turned out quiet rude and gave us vouchers which we did not use. She is very false as we noticed the staff felt uneasy around her. When she was not on duty they were very friendly. The food was not up to much and very boring each day. Sometimes it was just left overs from the previous day. Snacks were a joke. Alexandra our maid was a lovely girl and Lily on the bar the same. Beware this hotel is not a resort or 3 star. We were deceived but tried to make the most of our holiday.

Arrive at 2am to have my brother in law and wife, in a dirty room. Photos attached. The night receptionist was very helpful and phoned the day receptionist and arranged for my brother in law to be relocated to another room in the main building. We were initially given rooms in another building that look like it needs some work. Our room was like being in an hostel. The only positive was the sea view, however, we did not spent much time in the room. Next day we were relocated into the main building, where the room look more like an hotel room. Shower way too small to have a proper shower. Water pressure and temperature varies throughout the day. Day receptionist (forgot her name), lady wearing glasses, apologised and told us that we would have our free lunch and dinner on our last day as our flight was in the evening. On the last day, when asked about the lunch and dinner, the lady seemed to have forgot what she promised and became a bit rude towards my wife. The hotel, claim to be a resort, however, there's no entertainment, not even a pool table. Only one TV in the foyer, always showing the same program. Tour de France... Boring... All inclusive, but ice-creams are not included. Just a handful of drinks available and the snacks throughout the day are a joke and if you are not quick, there will be nothing left. Snacks are leftovers from breakfast and lunch. If you want a lounge bed on the beach you have to pay €10 a day. Pool lounges are free but you have to get up around 8am to get one. Location is very good. Close to the town centre and a step from the beach. Beach is very rocky, so make sure you have beach shoes. If i ever go back to kos, this hotel is out of question. Finally a shout out to Alexandra the maid that cleaned our rooms and Lily the bar woman. Two really nice ladies and the restaurant chef and the lady at the food counter at the restaurant as well. The food is very repetitive but if you're not too picky, you will always find something to eat. However, as I said before, all inclusive at this hotel is not a good idea. The photos are from my brother in law's room when we arrive. P. S. there is no table tennis or electronic games for kids as stated by love holidays.

I've been here for a week with my son (3 y.o) and I think this was the best option for us: 1) LOCATION: the hotel is right on the beach, it was very important to me not waist much time to get to the sea. 2 sunbeds and umbrella was for 8 euro per day and 10 euro starting from July. And the hotel is about 10 minutes from the airoport, which is extremly important for my unpatient son. 2) Very, very pleasant and good STAFF. I was speaking English and everybody understood me. Very helpfull staff on reception. We have an accident during dinner and my son spilled soup on himself. It's a pity I do not know the name of the woman from kitchen (gorgeous, always smiling and friendly a dark-haired woman who put food from the kitchen onto the buffet) appears in one second near us with the spray against burns. Thank you! And the chief-cooker Dimitry was so nice giving us sandwithches on the road. Very nice waiters. 3) FOOD: We had AI. Delicious good food. During the week of our vacation there was fish, and pork, and chicken. Delicious desserts. A variety of different salads, side dishes, soups. Very tasty. I won't say anything about alcohol because I don't drink. I feed my child with a healthy food, and there was always plenty to choose from. Although, for fans there were french fries and fish nuggets. 4) ROOM: Simple cute room with a side view on the sea. Photo from the room attached. Tiny bathroom, but its ok. Cleaning was once a week. 5) CITY: less then 1 minute from the hotel is a playyard (which is important to my son). Supermarket is 1 mitute walk also. The city center is couple minutes by walking. Everything is close. We even find one more playyard in the city center. 6) The enterence to the SEA: For child is ok, but if you go futher you should buy special shoes (because of the rocks in water) on the market (8,5 euro for adults, 6,5 euro for my child). But my child do not wore it. Clean beach, amazing clean calm sea. 7) POOL: Nice pool, with a little amount of sunbeds around, that are always busy with towels. The part of the pool is for little guests ( approximately 2x2m, and deptht near 70 cm) - very good for 3 y.o. kid. But we were rare visitor in here, because we prefer sea ) 8) WI-FI: Good signal in the room, but often it demanded to restart. We had our mobile internet - so it was ok for us. 9) if you are going to trevel with child. We are having a day dream. So it was not noisy at all, and my son had a good rest on the midday and at night. I want to note good curtains that completely darken the room ( mothers will understood))

I'll start by saying that this hotel has an excellent location right on the beach and couple minutes walk to the strip. The staff are lovely but the hotel was absolutely awful. If you're just looking for a bed to sleep in and plan to be going out lots then fine. But don't bother with any of the food or drinks and don't expect your room to be clean when you arrive or cleaned at all during your stay. I stayed with my partner for a week all inclusive and we made the best of a bad situation but we both agreed the hotel was awful and would never stay again. Firstly the rooms are basic, extremely dirty, old fashioned and bleak. The mattress was stained with a white flat sheet on top which didn't even cover the mattress which had all sorts of stains on it including blood and other unique stains I don't even want to imagine what they were. We were also given a brown throw which looked very tattered and 2 very flat and old pillows. We stayed for a week and our room was only cleaned once and that was because we asked at reception. The cleaners wouldn't clean our room or give us new towels, toilet roll etc unless we asked at reception which I think is pretty poor service. The bathroom was mouldy and disgusting, the toilet water was brown, mould in the shower and the shower drain smelt absolutely vile of rotten eggs and sh*t. There were stains all over the walls and lots of dead mosquitos which had been splattered on the walls. The room came with free working air conditioning and an empty fridge which was great to put bottles of water in. We didn't have a safe in the room but not sure if you can rent one at an extra cost. There was a fairly large wardrobe with hangers and a small cabinet though. Side note - if you are visiting Greece bring plenty of bug spray and cream. Also bring water shoes as the rocks in the sea are very sharp. We stayed all inclusive at this resort, and the food was disappointing with extremely limited variety and was very repetitive. Food was often luke warm if not cold and often looked very unappetising. There was no allergen information about the food and I did not see any vegetarian/vegan or gluten free options. Although it seemed a lot of the food was made fresh on site, food items such as bread were stale and rock hard. The food options usually included a selection of breads, soup of the day, a salad option, pasta option, meat option, fish option and chips. There was usually 2 small desserts to choose from and fresh melon but that was pretty much it. I would not advise bringing children or fussy eaters to this hotel as the food was not great. The drinks were very watered down, especially the soft drinks, beer and wine were all watered down. The cocktails were also very poor basically just ouzo, soft drink and a bit of cordial in different combinations. I do however want to add that the staff were absolutely amazing and were very friendly especially Lily on the bar, it's just such a shame that the hotel is so run down, poorly managed and dirty. There were very few sun beds by the pool and the ones on the beach you had to pay for at reception for 8-10 euros which I think is a bit steep. The Wifi was free but very hit or miss it only worked for our first day and then it was not working very well after that. I'm so disappointed to be writing such a poor review although I think it's important to be honest about these things, I had read some reviews on this hotel but gave them the benefit of the doubt as I had not read any recent reviews but unfortunately this hotel has not taken any of these reviews on board and the other reviews are similar to mine.

The pictures of the room was nothing like the ones online, it looks pretty grim actually, the shower door was missing, asked 3 times to replace it nothing happened, tiny bathroom about 4x4. No Wi-Fi, no hairdryer, tv did not work, no safety deposit box as stated online. Cleanliness was very poor, we had to ask for sheets and towels to be changed, for all we were All Inc we ate out most of the time as the food wasn’t the best, drinks were watered down. Only 14 sun beds round the pool and people were putting there towels down before 8am…we complained so they put notices out that you could not reserve a bed until 9am, needless to say this did not last , plus the sun beds were cheap and uncomfortable. If you weren’t able to bag yourself a bed at the pool you had to pay 8 euros for a bed in front of the hotel, this is going up to you 10 euros 1st July! How shocking when the hotel has 73 rooms! Only good point was our balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. Thank god for the Nissea Beach….quite a walk but well worth it, great sun beds and family run apartments and restaurant , amazing food and staff!

Have been back a week now and I am so sorry to say that the hotel was such a disappointment. Arriving at around 2.30pm we opened the door and was hit by the smell of the sewers, the receptionist said she had organised a beautiful room for us, making it up to the room in the worlds smallest lift we opened the door and instantly wanted to walk back out We walked in to the bedroom area that looked nothing like the pictures and definitely wasn’t newly renovated There was food on the light switch the mirror was held up with nails, skirting was missing furniture was knackered hole in the wardrobe door hinge broken, air con unit had brown marks on it, dead bugs all over the walls from the previous guess killing them. Dirty curtains on the door And don’t get me started on the bed you couldn’t move without it squeaking and was so uncomfortable to sleep on. There was an inch of dust under the bed Now the bathroom bugs again all dead not cleaned up Bin rusty and dirty same with the tooth brush and soap holder looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while Shower had no holder or curtain The room next to us could see in from their balcony as there was no cover for the window Window had cobwebs all over them Sink hadn’t been cleaned Hairdryer didn’t work and the plug was hanging off bin wasn’t emptied for the first four days which isn’t the best when you have to put your toilet paper in there. Mould all around the shower Grout missing Behind the sink had dead ants Someone used mask at the side of the dressing table Had to buy cleaning products to clean before I could relax. It looked like they had just changed the bedding and towels and emptied the bins before we arrived Now the food wow where do I start we went all inclusive and tried the evening meal didn’t eat it was cold and nothing was marked up to tell you what it was it looked and tasted vile Breakfast was pretty much the same and dinner We are out for all meals, which makes all inclusive pretty useless Snacks was food from breakfast Drinks were served in small water cups The beds around the pool were pretty much all broken we had to move them to one side so no one would use them Would say they didn’t clean the pool area once while we was there. Weeds everywhere, algae over the outdoor shower Reception area was always dirty, floor was cleaned but always looked mucky Toilets for the pool users were discussing no locks, I used our room one instead. The hotel was getting ready to close for the season so there was bin bags over the air con units as guess left. They had started to take things down Wednesday night had no food served without any warning lucky for us we choose to eat out On our last day we were forced to eat in the adjoining restaurant for breakfast as we were guided there by the staff after telling them we were going out to eat While there all different kinds of food was brought out which I couldn’t eat as you could keep the flys off it. Once again vile. All inclusive holiday turned in to a room only Wouldn’t use again really disappointing. Think twice before booking here.
