We spend 11 days on this hotel in all inclusive formula. Very deceived: no housekeeping before day 7, pool water was green with weed growing on pool walls, food was far from being delicious and local, lack of staff, on the restaurant you have to set and clear your own table, … The location is nice, great for snorkeling but we were somehow relieved to go home

I went with my family to Kos for a week and stay in this hotel on an all inclusive basis. It was a really disappointing experience. Rooms, toilets in the rooms and by the pool, the swimming pool and the dinning area were filthy. Towels were not changed and I had to ask several times to give us toilet paper. The food was no where near a 3-star standard. We were not able to experience Greek cuisine as they always offered the same food: overcooked pasta, tasteless fish and chewy pork. For desert there was only watermelon!!!! Between lunch and dinner time there were no snacks (this was advertised when we did the booking). To make matters worse, the owner had fights with guests and delivery drivers in front of all the hotel guests. I have to ask my children to go outside in order not to hear the insults.

Hi everyone I just want to say if you looking for a good and quiet holiday I recommend the Hotel Evripides in kardamena it is a beautiful place they have greak cuisine and If you want all inclusive you won't regret it. The owners are welcoming you to stay and if you have any questions about something, just ask the reception, they are really helpful. The food is good too for me and my family it was a good experience to stay. Breakfast for example was breads, cereal, muesli, preserves, figs, melon, pastries, cold meat and cheese, different eggs, hot eggs, beans, hot meats, yoghurt and different fruits. There was coffee machine, no English tea but green tea and chamomile. Lunch and dinner rotated every day. There is always chips, roast potatoes, rice and spaghetti. Sometimes different sorts of potatoes or pasta. Different meats every day, also fish Sometimes. Different vegetables, some simple like Brussel sprouts and some very nice vegetable dishes. Moussaka, sauces, meatballs. Every lunch and dinner there was a fresh salad bár that had many choice, with very fresh feta and tatziki and stuffed vine leaves. Dessert was small pastries like baklava. Very delicious. If you don't like traditional Greek foods this place is not for you. I am a chef and love Greek food and really enjoyed it, so did our kids as they have a good diet and eat many things. We got local bus to Kardamena. We also walked and its not far. We got a hire car to travel around the island for 2 days. We like the pool and the beaches. Very beautiful views. Very peaceful. Walk further up if you want a sandy beach for small kids. But to sunbathe on free beds with a view it is very nice. We stayed for a week and it was beautiful experience thank you very much it was a pleasure too be there it was pleasure too meet you. We enjoyed Greek night with Nikos singing also

If you expect a 5* resort, then pay 5* prices. Do not go to a 2* resort and then moan its not perfect. I think this place is really wonderful and the price is very good. If you want international cuisine, English grub, fish fingers for your kids and cheesy daytime entertainment- this is not for you! If you want your bed made every day, even though you are an adult. Don't go there, then complain after, you sound ridiculous! I think alot of these reviews are bizarre and make people sound very entitled!! I tell you what you will get - hosts and staff that go out of their way to be polite and helpful. Traditional Greek music randomly in the evening and Greek music, dancing and FIRE on a Saturday night. Nikos sings and plays and is very good and it's lovely to listen roo. Traditional Greek food with a good selection and lunch and dinner have dishes that are rotated around every day. A pool bar from 11am to 11pm. It has wine, beer, soft drinks, spirits and they even made us a cocktail. Drinks with your meals including water. You can fill your bottles up. There is a small shop selling water for 60 cents, drinks and ice-cream and some small essentials. They hire out bicycles for people, help with bus timetables and can organise car/ buggy/ moped hire and trips. They can't do enough to help actually. A local bus goes every hour from around 8am to 11pm to Kardemena Town. We walked it in 25 minutes and its a nice walk along the beach front. It has beautiful views of the sea and mountains and has its own private beach which is 100 meters from the front of the hotel. The beach has free sun beds for guests to use. The beach is stoney, but beautiful views wise. A short walk up gives you sand. Our room had a sink (you can drink the tap water on Kos) and a fridge, air con, a flat screen TV, a nice balcony with a view. The rooms are simple enough but give you everything you need. We were left plenty of soap, toilet rolls and towels. When I wanted more towels, I asked cleaning staff for more and they immediately gave them to me. They changed our bins, they did not change our sheets in 6 days. At home I change my sheets once every 7-10 days. If I wanted them changed, I could have asked and they would have. If you need someone to make your bed for you every day and will end up complaining about it. You've been warned! Stay somewhere else, pay alot more and you won't have to complain. If you can make your own bed and know how to ask for something, you won't mind. Many of us were very happy here. It has a lovely pool area, nice buildings. They're not in ruins, the pictures do not lie. The pool is clean and it's lovely laying there on the free sun beds looking at the mountains. I have a pool at home. Anyone who can keep a pool perfectly clean and blue is a CHEMIST and is not leaving a place run down. There aren't activities and aerobics in the pool and loud music. No. There is the sound of cicadas and breeze. It's peaceful and out of the way, but not so much you can't get to places. If your kids won't eat fresh Greek salads, fruits and traditional Greek dishes (they do pasta, spaghetti and chips). Then don't bring them and moan. Find somewhere that caters to them. They are short staffed, everyone has this problem, the UK included and the owners are working 7 days a week all day all night and it's not "perfect", but it's fantastic for what it is and we would definitely go back! There are walkways of tropical plants, flowers, fruit trees and courtyards in the accommodation blocks with lovely plants in. I hope this helps people stay away if they will find a problem in what I've said and convince anyone else looking at it, that actually likes Greece for being Greece i.e delicious Greek food and music, to visit.

Good hotel and very hard working kitchen staff, but poor cleaning and poor managment. We holiydayed from 4th till 18th. Food was not changed for 10 days, same food day in day out. If your taking children dont. There is no childrens food, no entertainment, except manager playing guitar once a week. There was a staff accident while we were there and it toik 30 minutes ti find the manager. When we did all she done was shout at here and tild her ti wait outside till she could be taken to hospital. The hotel is under staffed and cannot cope with food times. Go elsewere

There is no positive about this place , maybe 30!years ago, it’s run down , lack of investment, it’s shameful, a embarrassment to the island , Do not go, don’t not eat the food , this is simply awful , the staff are embarrassed, the owner just takes the money and laughed that we were so stupid to pay . Booking.com should be as shamed for not checking that the pictures are accurate and a true reflection of the current situation. It’s true score is minus 5 simply awful , the best thing is don’t go, I’d you do check out Asap

I have stayed here twice now, and will return next year. The staff are extremely friendly as are the management team who are always present and helpful. Main pool and children's pool are both ideal and well maintained. There is a large and delicious selection of food available in the restaurant. Rooms are well maintained, as our the grounds. We had a cleaner go into the room everyday. Clean bedding and towels. This hotel is situated in a perfect place. The beautiful beach is just at the bottom of the road. The stunning town is only a short walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families.

The place is great. Traditional place where you can relax with you friends and family. Lovely people. Verity of foods. Everything tasty and fresh. Not far from airport and Kardamima town so if you don’t have transfer is not to expensive to pay for taxi. Me and my family love it. Definitely will be back again soon.

I was so disappointed that this place even exists. I have never written a review before and if I started I would need more than 200 words. Needless to say I will not be going anywhere near this bombsite again. Knock it down.

We are Currently staying at the hotel and noticed a couple of terrible reviews on which we think are very unjustified. Yes the hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of a facelift, But it is clean and well managed. The owner and staff can’t do enough for you and despite being exceptionally busy always greet their guess with a smile. The daily salad bar is fresh and there is a good selection of hot choices. The wine Beer, cocktails and soft drinks are unlimited between 11.0am and 11.00pm. Yes we have stayed in far more luxurious places before but we have paid equally more! We choose Evripides As we wanted a cheap and cheerful break which is what we are having. For Approximately €50 a night person all-inclusive I think we’ve got a pretty good deal
