We visited the Daniel Hotel from 11th to 25th September and was made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived with Vicky coming to meet us as we arrived to Gus giving us our first welcome drink on the house, a lovely little hotel rooms basic but spotlessly clean typically Greek, from the beautiful pool area, which was so...

We have just returned from a week at the Daniel and I couldn't fault anything. It is a very clean base, not 5*, but it doesn't advertise it is! The rooms are basic, but spotlessly clean. In fact the whole place is spotlessly tidy. I am surprised that some visitors can confuse cliquey with friendly and welcoming, and the fact...

Clean rooms. Nice pool. Loud owner with strong views on people saying thank you. 15 min walk to strip down dark roads, pack a torch! Food was of a reasonable standard with large portions. Problem with bathroom was sorted out same day. Was really looking forward to stay after reading reviews here. Alas if your not part of the in...

We had 12 days stay at the Daniel. Beautifully clean rooms with a private balcony. Lots of tavernas to visit so we were spoilt for choice. The hotel is outside the strip so you will have to walk, because of this it was lovely and quiet. Vikki and Gus make you very welcome and all the staff are very helpful...

One of the friendly hotels we have ever visited on any destination on any of our 100 plus holidays in the world. From the minute we arrived on the 3rd September this year when our host Vicky poured us our first drink and informed us it was on the house to our last drink when Vicky,s husband Gus provided us...

Just back from a week's stay at Daniel, we found Vicky and Gus to be extremely hospitable and people very friendly. Many return year after year as it is a very relaxed and pleasant place to stay. Bar prices for both food and drink are very reasonable and the Daniel Burger and home made fries are absolutely the best. For...

Stayed here for one week. Basic 2 star hotel but everything you need and spotlessly clean. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kalamaki. Gus and Vicky are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely pool and bar serving drinks and snacks (amazing home made chips!!).Many regulars return every year so book early. Set about half a mile...

Great place, that's all I can say. The hotel is immaculately kept. The bar area is a nice touch. Vicky and Gus do a really nice job. It was a pleasure to stay there. I've never known a place where over half of the guests were 'repeat' customers, so that tells a great story. We will definitely be booking again....
