A family run complex, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, set back from the main road, makes this a superb place to stay for people of all ages who wish to enjoy memorable holidays in a hospitable environment. We had a lovely week staying at Athina, after lots of good communication before we went we decided we could manage with our daughter who is a wheelchair user. (although not fully wheelchair accessible) the staff were amazing helping us when needed and putting extra ramps around. Handrail into pool which helped so much. Lovely apartments, lovely people. Will definitely stay again

Lovely quiet apartment but close to everything but no noise experience from road etc...so clean Lovely pool area and sunbeds aplenty. My first solo holiday and first time to kalamaki and athina...trying to book for next year but very busy already so that tells you all you need to know. Lovely family run place which means alot to them and us.

Couldn't wish for a better holiday at Athina Apartments. Rooms are lovely & clean, the family are wonderful & helpful & can't do enough for you. Have been coming to these apartments for a few years now apart from the last 2 years due to Covid. The new swimming pool & pool bar is a lovely addition this year. This is our 2nd home & already booked for next year

Really nice place to stay. Rooms basic but got everything you need. Had a lovely outlook overlooking the pool and was able to watch planes coming in to land. Got a nice snackbar selling breakfast and food etc, and very importantly nice cold beer. Plenty of sunbeds so no rushing to get down there, and age group of the hotel was mostly 40+ so really nice friendly atmosphere. Only downside, which we actually mentioned to Dennis, was a handrail to get in and out of the pool. He said they knew about that and it would be in by next year..perfect. Its literally 30 seconds from a supermarket and also all the bars and lovely restaurants in Kalamaki. Perfectly situated. We will definitely be returning there, hopefully next year.

Had a fantastic stay with family and friends as a group of 8 at Athina Apartments, great location for everything, spacious studios and apartments, lovely pool and bar, the food was superb and Yiannis and George were the best barmen/hosts that you could ever wish to meet, thank you to Athina, Ellie and Dennis for always being helpful and also an extra special mention to Ellie for her help in booking 23 of us in for next year while we were there! Roll on next year, we cannot wait!!

Fantastic friendly family run apartments cleaners come every day except Sunday, lots of work been done during lock down added a pool and bar run by the fabulous George , food good price and tasty dishes . We were so happy to be back has you become part of the family not just a guest who checks in and becomes anonymous. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and any problems are dealt with straight away definitely the best apartments in Kalamaki

We stayed at these beautiful apartments for 10 nights. The apartments are well maintained and very clean, being cleaned everyday with regular linen and towel changes. Athina, Ellie and Dennis are very helpful nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

We (a couple) stayed at this lovely hotel twice during our stay in Zakynthos. This is absolutely a fantastic place in Kalamaki. Very nice staff! Very great pool, which was never crowded. Nice surroundings. Close to a great beach (5 minutes walk) - as well as close to the main road with restaurants and shops, but without being bothered by noice. Poolbar is open from 08 AM to 08 PM and serves great food. You can find many similar facilities in Kalamaki with pool and poolbar, but we think it would be difficult to find one just as charming due to the quality of the staff, pool, poolbar - and a beautiful moutain view. We also stayed at more expensive hotels, which were nice, but taking the cost/quality ratio into account, Athina still wins.
