Arrived hoping we wouldn't get a dungeon room as described by previous clients. We were very lucky to be given room 205 overlooking the pool bar. Absolutely beautiful view and nice balcony. The room would sleep four but there was only two of us, basic kitchen equipment but we didn't intend to cook in the apartment just used the fridge,... More

We had passed this hotel many times on previous visits to Kalamaki and really liked the appearance from the outside. It is ideally situated for the bars and restaurants and also the long sandy beach. we were not disappointed. we stayed in roo 215 which was a 3/4 bed apartment which was huge. we stayed B&B so did not need... Really pleased with this hotel considering we paid just over £200 each for a week SC? The hotel is located away from the Main Street but is only a short walk to bars and entertainment. THe hotel was spotless and we had a massive room 404 on the top floor which was more like a Swiss chalet. Wood ceiling and... More

Couldn't really fault the hotel. Close to strip of restaurants and to beach. However I wouldn't recommend Kalamaki! One long straight road with restaurants with strip lighting in most and nearly all with tv's with the football on. A pretty souless place. Nothing quaint or pretty about it.

The Ionian Blue is a little gem in the resort of kalimaki. Close to the beach and with excellent pool and bar facilities. Rooms are sizeable and modern by greek standards. ALL staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly and go the extra mile to make your holiday enjoyable. However cannot say i would rush back to kalimaki.... More

As has been said many times, this hotel is well placed and well laid out with very good decor and facilities. The cleaning staff are true professionals and so very friendly, but have to say the rest of staff are rather distant, a simple good morning or hello wouldn't go amiss. The only concern for booking this hotel are the... More

These apartments are in a good location, five minute walk to main strip in Kalamaki and in the other direction to the beach. We stayed in room 404 which is on the top floor and was a large open room sleeping three. The large balcony overlooked the pool area as do all rooms. The self catering facilities included fridge, microwave,... More

We had a balcony room first floor looking over pool. Balcony was large. Lighting in room is very bad. Lacking cooking utensils only one large pot and no sharp knife or cutting board. The hot plate dials were worn out and did not know what way to turn them on. The playground looks huge on the photos but is very... More
