Well ...if you want to feel how is to be back in time, around '70-'80 this is the perfect place to be. The hotel has a comunist look inside and outside. There aren t really too much options for accomodation in Vaslui, but if you could skip this hotel, will be a good choice. The brekfast is buffet style with... More

I have decided to write the second review based on the fact that I experienced another hotel in Vaslui, experience that made me book again Hotel Racova and secondly the parking from the front of the hotel doesn't exist anymore. So rooms are just the same, let's say "vintage style" from 80's. But clean. Reception experience was very OK. At... More

If you're in Vaslui and you have to stay overnight, there aren't many options to choose from. Hotel Racova seemed like the obvious choice and it wasn't a bad one. We didn't get the superior room and that was a mistake, as the regular rooms ( lower floors) are quite old. The room was clean and ok, but the bed... More

I have booked a room called modernized, somehow deluxe and I had the surprise to see that there is no difference excerpt for the price in terms of... More

The best place to have an accomodation booked in Vaslui, as far as I researched and asked locals. Parking spot is just in the front of the hotel, near the public parking, metal signs let you know that you just can move them and park your car near the traffic light. The rooms not big, not small, but sort of... More

Generally speaking this hotel isn't bad or good. The location is great, centralised in the city besides the main road. Enough parking place, mini-bar, etc. The breakfast was not average, not special or very good. But what I never understand, even when it is a little older hotel: WHY do I need to find black hairs in the bath from... More

Some may call this place "communist" or "ceausist" referring to Romania's former dictator. It is indeed far from the luxury of a modern hotel, maintains the style and attitude of old times but I found very helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, good food in the restaurant and pub below and last but not least a great view from higher... I stayed one night here, this old and comunist hotel hardly deserves 1 star. The staff may be friendly and the location is great situated, but the conditions of the hotel are horrible. Rooms and bathrooms are old, unconfortable and horrible.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, but there is a problem with the parking spaces that are kinda' limited. The rooms are nice and clean and also there is free wi-fi internet. The minibar is not empty so this is good :) Also the bathroom si nice and clean. We ate breakfast at the restaurant, but... More
