Masseria Messapia Spa Resort is where the senses blend together…your welcome place to Puglia. Once you pass through the main entrance, you will admire tradition in all its objects, colors and forms. Every single piece of furnishing is a reminder of what life used to be. Every room, every “Casetta” and every enchanting suite contains the purest elements of our Mediterranean culture and style. At our home restaurant “il Coccio”, you will taste our best traditional dishes, those handed over from one generation to another (“pittule”, “cicoreddhe cu le fave”, “sagne ncannulate” “pasticciotto”…) and scent the delicious flavors typically linked to our territory and prepared by our own chef while dining in the 18th century star-vaulted rooms, once ancient stables. In summertime, you can immerse yourself in a dreamlike atmosphere by dining “al fresco” under the pergola full of colorful bouganvillae and jasmine or on the terraces overlooking the picturesque vegetation of the countryside while sipping our artisan wines made from the best grapes manually selected and harvested during the coolest hours of the day.

We stayed in this Masseria to celebrate our friend's hen party. She didn't know where we were going to take her until she found herself at the entrance... and we really surprised her!
The structure is nothing short of stupendous, no detail is left to chance! The “Timo” and “Rosmarino” suites are spacious, bright and tastefully furnished, they also have a small private swimming pool in the external courtyard: a corner of absolute peace, relaxation and privacy!
Mrs. Alma is very nice and helped us study and organize every detail of our stay at the Masseria. Starting from the spa (small but complete with hydromassage, Turkish bath and sauna) with a 30-minute massage each with exceptional masseuses, followed by dinner. He even had us make a cake for our bride (surprise for us too, as we hadn't asked for it)!! What about food? Chef Angelo delighted us with some very tasty typical dishes that were also carefully presented, not to mention the breakfast: cakes, donuts, crêpes, pistachio or jam tarts, fresh fruit, custard, focaccia with cherry tomatoes and many other things … all homemade!!
The following day we took part in a cooking class and Angelo, after teaching us how to make orecchiette, also acted as a competition judge in a contest organized between us!
Masseria Messapia is a corner of Apulian paradise, the only shame was having spent only one night there!
Alma is the extra touch of class that realizes every request or desire with refined elegance and friendliness.
We hope to return soon and spend more time in this fabulous place!

Elegant and refined environment, location with an immeasurable attention to detail. The suites and houses are cozy and equipped with all comforts. The atmosphere is relaxing the Spa and wellness are well organized. The restaurant a pleasant surprise, with traditional Apulian dishes and typical fresh products and cooked by the skilled hands of the kitchen staff. Breakfast is also rich in typical products and desserts prepared with care respecting traditional recipes. The table service is professional, attentive to all the needs of diners. Food intolerances are also treated with manic attention. Excellent wines and oil produced by them. The welcome of the owner and manager ensure that guests are immediately at ease. The renovation of this Masseria has been carried out with careful professionalism enhancing the ancient walls and structures. The stay was pleasant and relaxing. Definitely to return.

We chose Masseria Messapia Wine Resort & SPA for our son's communion.
An enchanting structure to say the least, with attention to the smallest details, it is an ancient farmhouse recently renovated that combines the charm of the ancient with the comfort of the modern.
The staff is always present and attentive to every aspect of the service. We chose from the various menus that the structure offers, the one based on fish and the Chef delighted us with very tasty and carefully presented dishes.
The director Alma helped us organize every detail for the event, also giving us some useful advice for the success of the day.
The last positive note is the great availability of the owner, an exquisite person in every respect.

Courtesy, elegance, sobriety and intimacy... very well-kept structure and staff ready to satisfy our every need. To be returned and offered again to friends and relatives, but above all to those looking for a peaceful corner to share intimate moments or company.
Attentive restaurant, with dishes that have conquered our taste and that of our guests, while maintaining the simplicity of tradition.
Highly recommended

We stayed for three days in August in this literally “dream” place where taste and refinement come together in a continuous embrace; the attention to every detail offers you an enveloping relaxing experience where the scenery is completed by lush nature. Thanks to the owners Mino and Alma who with their simplicity and helpfulness have never failed to make us feel at home.

This is a highly recommended place! We stayed at Masseria Messapia with the whole family, 2 adults and 2 little boys (3 and 5). There is good space in the flat and everything provided. The gardens are wonderful, very well tended and immaculate. The pool is large and very clean. We were staying as the only guests (1 flat out of about 6) so had the whole premises to ourselves which was great. At the first morning we were very surprised to find that a whole breakfast buffet has freshly been prepared for us with fresh local fruit, all kind of hot and cold dishes and frshly made italian coffee. Wonderful!

The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bed linen was delightful. The bathroom was outstanding.
Our apartment had a beautiful private garden. The communal garden areas and swimming pool were very well maintained and ensured a restful oasis of calm.
Breakfast was wonderful with a vast selection of hot and cold dishes, we particularly enjoyed the frittata.
We highly recommend this property, and the warm welcome from the owners and staff was very pleasing. It really was a brilliant holiday.
